Noticing sign of gambling addiction before it gets worst

It is quite important for us to always apply limits to the gambling activities that we often do, whether it is limits regarding the money we spend on gambling or the time we spend playing. and what is called gambling, when we win we become more addicted, and when we lose we become more curious. That's how gambling is, so we continue to play games and place bets even though we have often lost before. And when we play without certain limits, or violate the limits that we have set ourselves regarding the money spent on betting and the time spent on gambling, then this could be one of the signs that we are experiencing a gambling addiction.

To ensure that the gambling activities carried out are maintained and well controlled, and avoid feeling addicted to gambling, not only do we have to apply limits to these activities, but we also have to be able to respect every decision we have made.

So I'm thinking before you become involved in frequent gambling behaviour what is the sign that you notice that you are doing when you gamble?

I do not gamble frequently and I am not having any sign of addiction because I just gamble during weekends and sometimes I do not gamble throughout the week. What I can easily use to know if I am gambling too much is if I go beyond my gambling budget but I do not go beyond my gambling budget.

Sometimes, going beyond your budget is another way to test and over stretch your luck and based on that you may get lucky to win big when you over stretch your budgets and should not be seen as addiction since most times you can control yourself and still go above your weekly budget at times and still be fine, being able to control your spending even when you are on an increase budget on temporary bases shouldn't classify as gambling addiction.

Gambling addictions is way ahead and different in nature because of it forces on the victims, because some of the gambling addicts are poor and sometimes can't afford they next bet, but yet will case the urge until the act in wird manner sometimes.

Well I will share a little of my experience and knowledge about the signs of addiction as you asked here, which I think is quite easy because the signs of addiction can start when someone has started to feel more interested in gambling especially when they manage to get a win in their gambling session, I'm not talking about fun and excitement because usually something that more often makes someone addicted is when they manage to get money in any case, and maybe this can also be another reason why you keep your job, namely because you get money as a salary for the sweat you have put in.

Excessive interest in gambling can make a person ignore many other aspects that are actually something that should be prioritized such as management, control and boundaries, and also excessive interest can make it difficult for a person to ignore any time not to gamble, the point is in my opinion you can find out about whether you have signs that will lead to addiction or not, namely by identifying your gambling activities, if for example you find that lately you feel more interested in gambling and it is difficult to ignore any time not to gamble then that means you have started to enter the signs that will eventually lead to addiction.

I am not a gambling addict as well as I only gamble everytime I have spare money from my salary, when there’s none then I don’t have reason to gamble. However, if ask about early signs of gambling addiction, based on what I’ve seen from my friends, I can say that they’re always having shortage in their money, because they used it up to feed their gambling urge. Also, they’re always interested about gambling topics and that it could make them instantly rich in the future. But in reality, only the casinos get richer while making these gambling addicts poorer and poorer..

I'm always wondering how an addiction starts for everyone because I'm sure that we have different experiences with gambling that will contribute to an addiction. Frequently gambling is one of the most common reasons why a player gets addicted.

When you gamble often then you might end up being addicted to gambling, most especially when you are gambling just for the sake money, you will end up gambling frequently, because you will always hope to hit a jackpot one day, and after some of them have lost some reasonable amount of money, they will find it difficult to stop gambling, they will always want to win back the amount they have lost previously, so they will keep on gambling always, in the process of trying to win back the amount they have lost in gambling, they will end up losing more money.

Am not addicted to gambling, I gamble whenever I am bored, so gambling is not what I do on a daily basis, so I don’t have any sign of gambling addiction.

If you have been doing some activities repeatedly then you're into it and that might because you're addicted to it.

You can't get hold of yourself and you just want to gamble all day long without having any troubles of worrying about tomorrow and what will be the amount of loss you'll make.

Too many signs and as long as you're getting back to the casino, whether you just visit them or you actually play, those are signs.

never become the complete gambler so i am not to comment about that behavior
but for the others that I do believe in? they are constantly playing even when they are l
osing continuously.

Mine is I always check my wallet balance to check my current profit then place a small bet without any reason just to gamble and increase my profit. This makes me gamble frequently because of the greediness to earn more until I become hooked and worst is when I lose everything on a bad day.
