Nice work. Have you tried it on 5600XTs? Curious if it could pull some extra juice out of it.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: January 28, 2021, 04:23:19 PM
Why is it that PM (even with the latest version which is 5.5c) is always around 10Mh/s slower (on a Zotac 1060 6GB 6+7 card rig) than T-Rex's both with the same OC setups and straps on. I had been using PM all along and realized only a month ago that after all, it is NOT the fastest miner as it claims to be. Not to be a critic but I'm very curious why such a big difference?

trexminer, can you implement option "-minspeed" or "-minhash" for control total hashrate?

So, what should happen when total hashrate drops to "minspeed"?

I think, if the last three or five "checks" of the total hash rate are lower than the one specified in "minspeed" - redirect it to reboot.bat for example
It would be ideal to define the time of this "checks" as a separate parameter (for example every 3, 5, 10 minutes) and
print it (total hashrate, total shares, etc) to stream and/or log file

Yes, this would be a very useful thing to have. I also had noticed only after many hours of reduced (throttled) hash rates and had to manually restart the rig to bring it back to normal hash rates.
Having a way to check min hash speed 'x' after certain minutes 't' and take action (to call reboot.bat) would help many users of t-rex

Hello gentlemen,
I have a strange problem only with one rig. I'm using 5.3b and it runs only up to the point where I get the NO CUDA driver found than just stops. Tried running in most basic settings but nothing seems to work. Has anyone come across this? Meanwhile claymore 15 with exactly the same settings runs just fine.
Rig is running with 8x sapphire 570 8GB nitro+, 110GB virtual memory, 4gb ram, i5-7400.
Last setting:
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool XXXX -ewal XXXX -eworker XXXX -epsw XXXX -ftime 10 -cclock 1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200 -mclock 2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150 -cvddc 900,900,900,900,900,900,900,900 -mvddc 900,900,900,900,900,900,900,900 -tt 60 -fanmin 50 -fanmax 95
pause
Please help!
EDIT sorry I just read the above messages I'm having the same problem like the previous post!

You could follow the same solution I posted as well and try your luck.

Hi guys,
as claymore stopped working i switched to phoenix mine 5.3b

At first everything was working.

I noticed the Google Meet icon appeared down at the right corner (maybe windows updated itself )

Im using Win 10 and sapphire rx580 8gb nitro+

Phoenix stopped working and also no other miner works atm. Lol, claymore etc..
All i see is NO CUDA Driver and then

Tried to reinstall AMD drivers - currently I'm using Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.1
Tried to disable Defender and i noticed i cannot add exclusuin folders anymore and also my exclusion folders that i added before are  gone from the exclusion list.

Should i try reinstalling windows if yes what win 10 version and amd rx580 driver combination to try?
I have 10X GPUS

Please advise.

Unfortunately, it could be due to some dll issue. Try this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4479631.msg40251658#msg40251658

So will reinstalling latest windows + AMD drivers fix the issue?

Yes. Just 'reset' the windows rather than reinstalling. Hopefully that would solve your issue, as it did for me.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.3b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: December 09, 2020, 01:24:59 PM
Hello guys... I need some help here.

I switched my gpus (gtx 1070 8gb) to ETH after a long time, and what I see is some strange behavior. It seems that hashrate is low, and memory overclock doesn't have any effect.
What I was able to google out is that apparently when there is more than 50% of 1070's gpu memory utilized it starts to behave strangely. When I try mining ETC everything is normal (sure ETC have DAG size much lower, after fork).
So mining ETC I am able to get 33 MHs at 90W with underclock and undervolt core and overclocked memory as much as possible, while
mining ETH I get 28 MHs at 115W (overclocked nd undervolted core, little overclock on memory) ... you see my despair Cheesy ... also mining ETH overclockin core have positive effect on hashrate, while overclocking memory doesn't have any impact - which is not normal for ethash.

It happens the same on windows or linux (hive os), the same on all miners (lol miner, phoenix miner, t-rex miner ...)

I was not able to find any solution to this.
So is there any workaround this issue?
Thanks for your help Wink Cheers

it is normal for the Nvidia Pascal GPU´s (all gtx 10x0) This cards slow down with every new DAG epoch, same HARDWARE bug as the AMD R9 290 and R9 390 had in the past.
So there is no solution. You can check this, if you benchmark ETH in Epoch 0 and Epoch 400 for example.

My P106 cards do 26mh at the beginning, now i am down to 24mh.

on ETH, my P106 cards still does 25.5mh  or above consistently. I'm using the latest driver and PM 5.3b. My settings are PL +78, TL +73, CC +165, MC +915, Fan @85. Each card draws around 93W power.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: November 22, 2017, 05:48:01 AM
This looks great....hope this is not another ER2 Token?

Nope! From what I can gather, it's an extension (fork?) of sorts from the old signatum, but with the 'original' lot of developers. In fact, they'll be offering a signatum swap a bit later on to pull some of the holders from that chain over to them. From memory, think that was later this month but I guess they'll be updates on what's happening soon.

This is a new digital currency and it shares no technical association to Signatum. This is simply a free coin-swap to a new and much better currency, where you are invited to swap your Signatum coins towards. The developers of STRAKS were never part of the core Signatum team. Some contributed on a community level, but that was all. The founders and core developers from that project are not involved in STRAKS.

We will provide full details on the swap process in the very near future. Please stay tuned.

Why a swap was Signatum a SCAM?Huh
You have to read the news about it. Signatum Devs abandoned the project.

Zcoin wallet v0.13.3.1 have a bug, when run for some hours, the getblocktemplate command will return "CreateNewBlock: TestBlockValidity failed: bad-txns-BIP30 (code 16) (code -1)", must restart the wallet to solve this problem.

I also had an issue like yours . Yesterday I  downloaded the wallet v0.13.3.1 to get syncing but it was stuck at the block 60032 so Must I wait for the wallet updates from Devs or Can I make a reindex with command line " zcoin-qt -reindex" to get syncing again ? when is the new wallet released ?
Reindex wont fix the issue. A new wallet is already in the process of getting released. If you need it immediately, head over to Zcoin's discord. Reuben has uploaded the same.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: November 07, 2017, 06:57:06 PM
The part NOT clear to me is..... if there no value or active dev on Signatum 1.0 in future

There is no point holding Signatum 1.0 anymore.

Just burn them all together, force the Mandatory swap to the Signatum 2.0

Secondly is it same dev team working on Signatum 2.0 ?

The owners of Signatum is still Doctor and Skankhunter. The devs in Straks team has no ownership on signatum and Hence they cannot force a mandatory swap. Hence it s a choice for the users to make.

Why cant a big investor voice out his opinion?

Why is cryptovore allowed to have authority here? someone neutral should take over.

At no time did you simply "voice your opinion".

I read ALL your posts.  Every one of your posts was an attack on cryptovore and/or the dev team.
You did not "voice" your opinion, you constantly made DEMANDS and when your demands were not immediately addressed, you started calling the devs scammers.

Anyone that read your posts could easily discern that you are spoiled little man who feels entitled and that everyone should be at your beck and call and immediately drop what they are doing to answer you.

The dev team and others "offered" to make things right and do something to give back to the community.  YOU were not happy with a mere offer.  YOU DEMAND they compensate you for your losses.
Maybe Google the definition of the word "offer".

The dev team owes you NOTHING
cryptovore owes you NOTHING

You obviously can't handle the fact you lost with your investment in sigt.  If you can't handle losing, then you shouldn't be investing in crypto coins.  It has been stated many times.  Crypto coins is a "volitile" marketplace.  DO NOT INVEST MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE.

It is because cryptovore/vikingchild shouldn't be in the middle of this. That guy is the biggest threat to this new coin. I only say those to make the other devs take a second look.
You should read the previous discord. It's all there. What could possibly go wrong on the new coin without this cryptovore "scammer"? We'll all have peace of mind without him.

cryptovore please leave the thread moderation to others and for god sake do not take a cut on the pre-mine(he proposed /salaries/bonuses..etc.. self-benefits). You are not deserving.

Bruno is a much deserving fellow and no hidden intention on the coin. Cryptovore is a different animal in the wild.

Relic you need to make your mind up, you have gone from saying Vikingchild/Cryptovore is at the lead of this project to now just the middle of it, you are making it difficult for anybody to believe your legitamacy, again you call Cryptovore out as a scammer, I ask, what evidence?

I was present the entire time on the original Discord, and just like the rest of us Cryptovore himself was duped by Doc and sigtd.

The only time I saw Cryptovore have to defend himself was when McJewbie constantly demanded his promo video for signatum was broadcasted and Cryptovore refused as he deemed it false info that would create false hype the coin did not need.

He too asked Cryptovore to leave the project

He too had many demands that could not be fulfilled

He too began a hate campaign against Cryptovore for not bowing to his commands, ending in death threats from McJewbie.

You sound like McJewbie.....nobody should ever go full McJewbie.

freshen up your mind epi, dont judge me by my comments and shittalks. take a good look.

he is at the center of it. just like doc before. hmmm. sounds fishy. read the previous discord.
What makes you say he is at the center of it? He is the face and voice of Straks. The one who markets the coin. By your definitions, devs should market?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: November 06, 2017, 02:53:40 AM
I could care not. I just want to recover even portion of my US$ 30K investment. But with the pretentious scammer in the middle of the project, there is no chance i can do that. And so the many others who are also in my position.

Ask him to leave to protect whatever investment you made on this project. Then we can move on.
Are you blind? If you lost your investment why don't you bother "finding" those who scammed you and abandoned the project (Doc and Skank)? You are asking and pointing the wrong person all the time. cryptovore is not part of the old team. He was just a member like all of us. He lost his investment just like all of us. So if you can, find those bastards who stole your money and ran away and bash them. Not this "not-related-to-signatum" project or its members.

I is the newest wallet that gives virus warning. The old one dont. I have used the old one the whole time, but dont have a link unfortunately.
It is in github. https://github.com/signatumd/releases/blob/master/signatum-qt.zip . However, I would advice to compile the binary from source yourself.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: October 23, 2017, 04:35:57 AM

Haha . . A wrong thing form DOC is he ever used real name. When somebody find the truth, then he is gone. This is DOC 2.0. So they never let you know their true real name and background .They just a ass kid to cheat the develop fees 28% and dumping all. Then keep anonymous to find the next one. They can't develop any thing .They just copy all from github.
God bless you.
You need to read the content of the announcement in the website thoroughly before posting anything. The current dev team is formed from community. They were not part of the DOC team. Doc was a single entity and the current team has more than just two with a flat hierarchy. Why did you believe in bitcoin while you were not sure what the dev's real name and identity was!

Good luck Signatum. Coin swap Ratio is so good. 4:1

Would you mind giving me link to the Swap ratio (4:1), please. Thank you.
Everything is clearly explained in https://signatum.org

The team members shouldn't hide behind aliases and instead publish their true names and qualifications if they really want to promote transparency.

Transparency is not about the identity but the work. Does anyone know who is Satoshi Nakamoto? There are many coins out there with aliases for devs. They are still respected and transparent. They reserve the right to differentiate their personal and professional life imho.
