1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Withdraw your funds from the top 10 Exchange now !!! on: November 09, 2019, 03:39:52 PM
I know that this is just FUD. Logically, large exchanges have high security. Although hackers are eyeing several exchanges, hackers may not necessarily succeed in hacking the exchange. Besides, I also won't store my digital assets in the exchange wallet because I'm more comfortable storing in the hardware wallet.
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: David Marcus Is Pro Bitcoin? :o on: November 09, 2019, 02:07:20 PM
Cool article about how Marcus (head of Facebook's Libra) views Bitcoin:

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/i-dont-think-of-bitcoin-as-a-currency/

What's funnny is that the guy is obviously biased towards Libra and yet sees the usefulness in Bitcoin. Digital Gold!

Thoughts?
What was said by David Marcus is true! So far, Bitcoin is more worthy of being called a digital asset like gold than a currency. But in my opinion, bitcoin has more value than assets such as gold. For example, Bitcoin can be sent to anyone around the world very quickly without third parties. Also, every bitcoin wallet is fully controlled by each individual.
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Buyers Club on: November 08, 2019, 02:40:51 PM
I've been tossing around the idea of starting a group of people who are committed to buying Bitcoin every month. Can be a small portion, like 5$, or however much people can afford (I suppose it would make sense to use higher amounts for fee reasons, though). I myself have set up a monthly wire transfer from my bank account to Coinbase and a recurring purchase of Bitcoin every 1st day of the month. This is really simple, and you keep investing and $-cost-averaging your BTC purchases.

To be clear: I don't want you to send money to me or anybody else, I don't want to make money decisions for you and this is not investment advice. What this is about:
1. Explaining the benefits of buying periodically
2. Showing ways to do so
3. Compile a bunch of people who want to display their commitment to buying Bitcoin

Also, I don't really care what you do with the BTC you purchase over time. Of course, in order to keep demand up you may want to HODL them or earn interest by lending them. Otoh, if you want to foster adoption, I'm also more than happy if you spend them. And, of course feel free to sell them after a bull run. I don't mind, so long as you keep buying every month :-)

If you already have set up recurring purchases or you plan to, feel free to fill in the Google form and I can link it to a spreadsheet. I might also prepare kind of a guide to give some background information.

I created a Google Form where anyone who wants to express their commitment to BTC can do so: https://forms.gle/rjD81677yipAVhtaA

Again, I'm not planning on making money from that, just want BTC to have a healthy demand.
That is a very good idea. You have a strong commitment to buying bitcoin gradually every month. But the way I collect bitcoin is not by buying it using Fiat, but from every clothes I sell. Because my clothing store accepts bitcoin and ETH as payment.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: November 08, 2019, 08:12:37 AM
Please stop your whining here if your friend dont know nothing about blockchain and crypto then teach him so he can be independent

Don't let them invest in what they don't know about

how can you invest into somthing if you have no clue about what are you investing in at first place or is just about 21st century beg??
They invest to get money or more without knowing how to work the system of a project that they invest in. But when they get a scam from the project, then they will whine.
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Concerns You Have For Bitcoin on: November 07, 2019, 10:26:34 AM
The thing I'm concerned about is 1. Loss of community trust in bitcoin, 2. Political issues that will bring down the value of bitcoin or restrictions in many countries about cryptocurrency trading, 3. hackers.
1146  Economy / Economics / Re: Asset backed cryptocoins? on: November 07, 2019, 04:26:48 AM
We have seen some of the assets backed crypto coins in the market on the way and do you guys think this will be the future as this is directly based on national assets like gold and other products like charcoal and energy based products.  This will help in growth of country's economy if not taken over by greedy corporatesand and and will it have government's support or soft corner in the regulator's eye as it will bring in some money from outside.
Mining assets like oil, gold, and fossil backed by crypto coins will certainly be very good for the country's economic growth and will surely get support from the government as long as they comply with policies and laws in the country. The question is "will the corporation not cooperate with the government in such matters?" I think the State and corporations are good friends to exploit the earth's resources for a wealth of government and corporation. and I don't think this is very good.
1147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Life Worth Living? on: November 06, 2019, 02:48:17 PM

You may end it now but think about it, if you do that, would that give you a much better life? No, because you already lost your one and only. Life is beautiful not in the absence of all those things that you mentioned. Life is beautiful in spite of all those. Those things are always around us. Can we avoid disasters, illness, betrayal in whatever kind, death of loved ones, and so many others? No, never in this life. The beauty of life is always found in between sorrows.

No. Life is not beautiful. Life is suffering, and death is deliverance from suffering. But if he kills his existence, suffering will continue, that is, inherited by what he left behind like a mother, lover or child. human life is an endless absurdity with no end and meaning. As told in ancient Greek mythology, Sisyphus was cursed by Zeus to push a large rock to the top of a hill and then roll back down. the futility of the condition of humanity when viewed from the perspective of the universe. Because, if all humans will eventually disappear, so will the universe, then what is the meaning of all the life projects that have been done so far?
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: November 06, 2019, 02:17:44 PM
Do you still hold coins and wait for them to grow?
I trade every day and make a profit. I can make a few in one day. For a month, it turns out about 100%
Why sit and hodl coin?
I still hold several types of Alts and Bitcoin. I am not a day trader, because there is not enough time to sit and watch the price movements on the screen. But I still believe that the cryptocurrency that I hold will grow in value in the future.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Debt, Buy Bitcoin on: November 06, 2019, 11:27:59 AM

The whole world is saddled with gargantuan debt. Countries right now are using debt facility to cover up their inefficiencies and inability to meet their financial needs due to rising number of programs yet decreasing stream of revenues. Aside from the printing of money, borrowing money from anywhere has become the accepted norm. The more money they can hoard from many sources inside and outside their country, the better they feel secured and safe.

But is debt a very secured thing to enter into? Debt can be a big trap and many countries are now starting to feel the heat...soon this on and off heat can be transforming into a fire and an explosion that can engulf not their own country's economy but also can be spreading to neighboring countries as well, just like what we witnessed in the 2008-2009 USA recession.

In the USA alone, national debt is now over $23 trillion, according to website U.S Debt Clock. The milestone has been pointed out on Nov. 1 by Bitcoin advocate Twitter personality Rhythm, who also said that every dollar of U.S. national debt is, in fact, a reason to buy Bitcoin (BTC). Another user presented another interesting take adding: “That’s more than $1,000,000 debt per 1 Bitcoin.”

Indeed, we will soon witness this whole thing explodes right before our eyes. And with this as the backdrop, we should be looking at cryptocurrency seriously as one of the many possible ways we can be protected.
America is a strange country. Their president Donald Trump has stated that he does not like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But what happens is they owe to buy bitcoin. Isn't that a hypocrisy?
1150  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: November 05, 2019, 07:09:17 AM
If the government and banks make their coins, it will only be based on the price of fiat money. But it will not replace it, because it is a violation of the law. Even though that happened, there was nothing that could be done to prevent it.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: November 04, 2019, 02:46:49 PM
Until now, there has never been a stable coin that can reduce the dominance of bitcoin. Libra is just a centralized digital coin that has a different target market than bitcoin. Even for a very long time.
1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any apps on Android for trading cryptocurrency? on: November 04, 2019, 06:48:13 AM
I can see a lot of applications for trading cyrpto-currency on Apple devices. I don’t have any apple devices with me currently, so are any trading platforms that work on Android on the Google Playstore?
Some large exchanges such as binance and bitforex have exchange applications on Android devices. You can search and download it on Playstore. If you are still confused, please search on Google.
1153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fun Fact: Bitcoin Price is Up 838,000,000% in Ten Years’ Time on: November 03, 2019, 10:58:05 AM
Bitcoin is a unique digital asset, their value continues to grow every year, maybe because of the limited amount and has no inflation in this technology. I believe that bitcoin will be able to reach a 1000% increase or even more.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes a Fiat worthless? on: November 01, 2019, 07:35:11 AM
in my opinion, what causes fiat is no longer valuable because of the great inflation in a country. This can happen when the government implements a budget deficit system, where the budget deficit is overcome by printing new money. But this makes the amount of money circulating in the community increase and cause inflation.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: November 01, 2019, 03:41:42 AM
Bitcoin can be extinct if have lower price few year later, many investor do not care if bitcoin have lower price and move their money to other investment kinds, if bitcoin want keep exist for long time have to make bitcoin keep have higher price, never break down under $200 if bitcoin want to keep exist several years later, almost many project investment have extinct because bad reputation with lower price.
Bitcoin will go extinct if no one has confidence in bitcoin, even bitcoin will be worth 0 and extinct forever. We must continue to believe in bitcoin and keep using it so that bitcoin does not lose confidence.
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: June 29, 2019, 02:59:27 PM
Volatility in Bitcoin is always there. Those who have bitcoin will always seek profits in the crypto market and only a few use bitcoin to transact. daily increases and decreases keep moving. we cannot guess the price of bitcoin tomorrow.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connecting PayPal? on: June 29, 2019, 02:48:27 PM
Of course, that can happen. For now, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are not yet mature and still need to be developed. But most likely Bitcoin will be able to connect with Paypal in the future.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns. on: December 26, 2018, 02:31:21 PM
I don't, but the problem I'm facing is the price of tokens from bounty payments is very cheap in the crypto market and all I can do is hold these tokens up until the price increases.
1159  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: December 26, 2018, 02:24:19 PM
Yes, I think paper money is indeed a system of human slavery. Humans enslave themselves to get paper money, and paper money is printed very much so that the value decreases because of the amount of money that has been printed.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do they still give btc loans on: December 26, 2018, 02:18:54 PM
I've seen the bitcoin loan button on the coinmarketcap site called Nexo. maybe it's a bitcoin loan site. I have opened their site but I have never made a loan there. maybe you can try it. https://nexo.io/?utm_source=CMC_Button_Listing&utm_campaign=CMC_Button_Listing
