921  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 18, 2021, 05:51:37 AM
~ snip

I personally feel if celebrities are tweeting about btc they probably don't even know how to use electrum...
Yes, maybe they don't know how to use Electrum, they also don't understand hash, mining, and even liquidity swap. please understand, they were just getting started. their knowledge is only on trading on the cex exchange. But their tweets can lead to price increases in the market although not very big
922  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 17, 2021, 07:51:13 AM
According to my forecast, bitcoin will hit a price of $ 100K shortly. Precisely in December this year. I believe that because more positive news that happens will encourage more people to buy more. Even in my own country, well-known celebrities and singers are also starting to enter the bitcoin market and continue to tweet about bitcoin and crypto. I believe this December is the peak of bitcoin and crypto
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Store of value or Payment method or else? on: April 17, 2021, 05:55:50 AM
Bitcoin is both, that is a store of value and a method of payment. For me, bitcoin can be anything we want. Bitcoin is how you use money freely. You can send money with bitcoin anywhere you want on a peer to peer basis without having to involve banks, the government and the countries. you can also invest like a commodity with bitcoin. You can also buy goods and pay bills easily using bitcoin.
924  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 16, 2021, 04:12:53 PM
I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings... bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.

your thoughts?
I agree with you. With Bitcoin, we are free to send money anywhere and to anyone without intermediaries (peer to peer). Besides, using bitcoin to pay household bills is very practical and easy. But the practice now is, someone who buys bitcoin today hopes to get rich. they buy bitcoins because of their volatile value. they think that the volatility of bitcoin can provide quick profits.
925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 16, 2021, 10:28:14 AM
Today is April 14th 2021, Bitcoin is trading at $62k - $64k today. It just spent basically two months building support around $50,000 in a very non-bull-run like fashion. This is because this bull run isn't gonna be a relatively short FOMO-driven huge peak and giant crash + crypto winter. We're at the beginning of a years-long super cycle that is gonna shoot Bitcoin from $10k up to well into the the hundreds of thousands over the next few years, with no crypto winters during that growth. Retail is calmer less FOMOy, institutions are coming in and by definition are more wary and less FOMOy, and with Covid + money printing the narrative around Bitcoin has finally evolved from speculative get rich scheme to store of value gold 2.0.

For these reasons, Bitcoin will never go below $50k again, even if we get a decent crash at some point like most people expect based on past market cycles (and yes I've been in crypto during the two big crypto winters), the bottom still won't go under $50k. Do you agree? Hit the poll!
I'm not quite sure yet. Even though it is a crypto season, the market will not continue to increase. there may come a time when the bearish season comes, bitcoin will crash, but not under $ 20K. If it goes below $ 50K, it looks like it could still happen.

927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "COIN"- Coinbase IPO- Opens today- Thoughts? on: April 16, 2021, 03:59:45 AM
These are fiat stocks that I would not buy, but with the IPO of coinbase, I also feel good about the increase in bitcoin. that way, bitcoin will be known more widely. If other exchanges such as Binance, Kraken, and others also follow these steps, the boom in bitcoin will also be even higher.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase VS Binance Valuation - is Binance way undervalued? on: April 15, 2021, 04:44:17 PM
For me, Binance is the best and biggest exchange. The trading volume on the Binance exchange in 24h is $ 43 billion

Whereas the trading volume on the coinbase exchange in 24h is $ 3 billion. I has been seen it on CMC https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

Even though in several countries the Binance website has been banned, there are still a lot of people who trade on the Binance exchange.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 15, 2021, 08:26:10 AM
While BNB appeals to the wider crypto users because the binance smartchain currently seem to have overcome the biggest issue that most cryptocurrency users have with bitcoin ethereum and the ERC 20 blockchain tokens. This problem is the speed of transaction and and the cost of transactions.
This is a problem  that BSC currently solves, and while a lot of people might argue that BNB is not a fully decentralized coin, i think it is worth noting that a lot of users dont care much for how decentralized  a coin or token is, they just want the solutions they it offers.
This is why i think BNB an the BSC will remain very valuable in years to come
I agree. BNB and BSC have resolved the problems from the ERC. sending BSC tokens is so fast and cheap, that currently, many ERC-based projects have switched to BSC. this increases BNB adoption rapidly and increases the value of BNB.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons predicted an endless Bitcoin price growth on: April 15, 2021, 06:55:19 AM
In my opinion, the predictions that occur in the Simpson cartoon are coincidences that occur in the real world. I don't believe in prophecies and conspiracy theories in cartoon series. For me, the prediction in the Simpson cartoon is only to influence people who believe in a prophecy. If bitcoin adoption and price increase, it is not because of the forecast, but those who believe will buy more and adopt more, so the price will go up.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: April 14, 2021, 05:03:28 PM
There isn’t anything on the space, nothing, except scam, have you given up or do you still cope and looking for airdrop?

Airdrop participated: 20
Airdrop received to this day: 0
Yes, you heard me, nothing at all, not even one airdrop, that’s how red pilled the space.
If you want to get a good and paying airdrop, you should follow a well-known airdrop channel that has millions of followers. usually, the channel has a website that is frequently visited. after all, what are you hoping for with airdrops? they only pay very cheaply.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My head hurts from all the platforms out there, how do you pick? on: April 14, 2021, 01:30:17 PM
My story with bitcoin is that I bought a little bit back in the old days and now it has flourished, however I've not work on them or invested. I also see people talk about farming/staking which can increase your portofio. Some people told me why do you just sit on your bitcoin, you could actually work them to get extra cash out of them.

With that said, which platform do you use? I'm new to crypto here! My head hurts from deciding which platform should I use to trade/stake/freeze/earn with. There are manyyyy! I've already looked into CakeDefi, Pancakeswap, Uniswap, Demex, RAMPDefi, Binance.com and Aave! all of these and I still don't know which one to choose and why. Can someone help/assist me as to choose which one? and why.
Choose a platform that provides a large APY, maybe nexo or mycointainer. but you can also search for information on the internet to find the best platform for staking. For the coins you want to stake, Choose safe coins for staking. Maybe Algorand (Algo) is good for you staking because Algorand is known as a decentralized permissionless blockchain. Its main purpose is to solve major blockchain scalabilities problems. On the other hand also to maintain decentralization and security.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 14, 2021, 09:52:36 AM
I just got to find out the importance of saving asset in bitcoin. As of last year October I just decided to split my savings into two and used half of it to buy bitcoin then took half to bank and deposited as fixed deposit which means I won't be taking the money for a period of time and bank will in return be giving me little percentage which I will take as profit, recently I tried comparing the profit I get from both bank and bitcoin, I found out the profit I got from bank is way low compared to what I got from bitcoin, then I decided to stop keeping my assets  in banks rather I keep it in bitcoin which later turns out to be an investment for me.
You should also know that Bitcoin could go down so you could also lose money from it.
But I do support your idea and I think it is good for a long term holder.
Because I believe that it would continue to grow in the future so we should accumulate as much as we could.
Although the value of bitcoins can decrease very quickly, over time, the value of bitcoins can recover and can even increase higher. saving in bitcoin is indeed for long-term holders. and I am also one of those long-term holders who are continuously saving and collecting bitcoins. it doesn't matter if the price falls, because the price will go up again.
934  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the government hijack Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2021, 03:18:30 AM
Bitcoin is known as to be the biggest cryptocurrency. in some countries it can be used to purchase goods and services and some see cryptocurrency as a threat.

if Bitcoin comes to be number one currency in the world today, can it  be hijack by the government?
Hijacked like what? it seems your question is incomplete. The government can only prohibit the use and circulation of bitcoin. all websites related to cryptocurrency can be banned by the government and the country. But we can still access it using VPN.
935  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just realized I'm 99.9% crypto and 0.1% in fiat on: April 13, 2021, 10:49:50 AM
I knew I was right around 99% crypto, but I actually took a second to calculate it and I'm only 0.1% fiat, 99.9% crypto right now! Granted I'm very low on cash right now haha, gotta cash out a couple thousand dollars worth of staking rewards to pay expenses this month, and generally I want to keep 0.5% in cash for my emergency fund.

But this just got me thinking, for anyone willing to share (just percentages, no raw numbers) where do your net worth crypto/fiat/anything-else percentages stand? Smiley Anyone else gone full bore into crypto as I have?
For this year it looks like I am using more crypto than fiat. because in previous years (2018-2020) I completely only used fiat in all forms of payment. Because in that year I didn't want to give away my crypto. I just save and keep steaming. But this year, I used crypto for electricity, water, etc.

In essence, when crypto value is cheap, I feel like I have to pay dearly for everyday life. But when crypto has a high value like today, I feel for daily necessities it is very cheap.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: April 13, 2021, 05:22:38 AM
...
So, how we  convince the peoples to adopt digital currency?Huh

We don't have to bother convincing people about the adoption of digital currency (crypto). Even though they currently don't believe in using cryptocurrency, over time they will realize that crypto and digital currency are important in everyday life.

Currently, many giant companies and well-known institutions have adopted a lot of bitcoin, which has made many people realize that bitcoin and digital currency are very worthy of adoption.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: April 11, 2021, 09:50:20 AM
The future of bitcoin is bright. giant institutions and companies have looked at it positively and they have even adopted a lot of bitcoin. We will all see that the whole world will use bitcoin in the future.
938  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's not the end, $60k again on: April 10, 2021, 04:13:02 PM
....
Is it still a good time to get in?
Before the end of the year, it is not too late to get in so as not to miss the train. If you look at $ 60k today, then at the end of the year you will see $ 100k. Even analytics experts predict over $ 150k. Although I am not very sure about their predictions, however, I still believe that by the end of the year it will touch $ 100K.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: The One World Currency: Is it Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2021, 10:07:36 AM
It seems true that what is meant by the currency of one world is bitcoin. Because bitcoin can be used by anyone and from any circle. chances are if fiat continues to experience inflation, then the only way to replace fiat is bitcoin which will not experience inflation. besides, bitcoin is decentralized and fairly distributed. So, I think the one world currency that we will use in the future is bitcoin.

Their predictions are very high and the price is very far from the current price. Indeed, there is nothing impossible for bitcoin to reach prices above $ 15K. Although I am not too sure, I hope that the prediction is correct. My belief in the highest bitcoin value this year is $ 100K.
