I too have lost all faith. I was originally interested in T2 but at this pace, having been told "next week" for exactly what you say, "three weeks", I'm at a loss for what could possibly require that they continue leading everyone on. I understand the original delay. I should have been mining for weeks at this point. Still very interested in the T2 but to see these delays and have our money held hostage like this, I just can't say I trust HM until this has been resolved or compensated in some way.
This is following the pattern of new manufacturers pretty plainly.  Every single one of these companies has had a hard time managing logistics.  I wouldn't give up--the company is shipping products.  At some point they'll smooth out, IMHO.

Nicehash didn't work on my D9 (maybe because I went through MRR?)

Have mine on Luxor atm, reports 1.75-1.95th/s... Has anyone compared Luxor to Coinmine?

I first had mine on suprnova but the reported hashrate seemed lower than it should be.. even less than Luxor

I still have mine going through MRR first.. I wonder if going straight to the pool without MRR would increase hashrate?

I've never had issues using MRR as a proxy, but it sure wouldn't hurt to try a direct connection.  Let us know what you find out.

My 1080TI rig, is not working anymore  https://ibb.co/jJGcOn
Anyone got an idea of what the problem might be?
i upgraded drivers, and windows, just before it happened.

It looks like it's not accepting your credentials or you have the machines pointed to the wrong port.  Since you upgraded the OS, I would go back and make sure you have your pool settings and the like correct.

It would be nearly is impossible for Bitmain to get info in March, and get new ASIC through foundry with hardware changes needed to do AB and ship in 3 months.

Fixed that for you.  Tongue
5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: North American hardware distributors on: April 23, 2018, 09:20:25 PM
Thank you all for the input, I appreciate it.  I'm not sure why I forgot about Parallelminer, as I ordered power adapters from them recently.

How did you hear about the drop in operating temperature from Canaan?  We run ours at around 35c, so this is news to me too.  Let me know.

Thanks again!

I was about to purchase an 841 and noticed it said 30C on the website, and did a double take on the Canaan website to verify that indeed it is now 30C instead of 40C.
Checked the 821 which I knew 100% was 40C just a few days ago as I was showing it to a friend, and that too is now listed at 30C.
Posted about it on Blokforge's forum post, but it was deleted.  Was honestly just curious about it before buying more from them but now they are not within range for myself or any business friends.
Thanks for that.  I'll keep my eyes peeled for updates on that.

Cheers.

7  Economy / Service Discussion / North American hardware distributors on: April 22, 2018, 02:21:52 PM
Hello!

I am compiling a list of ASIC distributors and would love some feedback.  So far we've included the Canaan Creative NA distributors which includes BlokForge and MinerWarez.

Who else in North America should I include?  Looking for companies with a proven record of shipping products.  If you know of a company (or are affiliated yourself) please let me know.  If you want to shoot me a private DM, that works, too.

Cheers.

These miners have surprisingly exact same design and exact same technical specifications as the Dragonmint altcoin miners.  Roll Eyes
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3345156.0

Innosilicon equals Halong Mining.

Ref.,
in some car brands and models, including the VW Up that I have,
VW Up, Seat Mii, Skoda Citigo. Three different car brands,
but this is the exact same vehicle.

Different brand name, but the product is same.

I was about to post the same; these newly released Blake miners have the exact same specs as the Halong counterparts.  Never mind the fact that they look the exactly the same, too.

At this point I wonder if Inno is going to spin off their crypto business.  They build other electronic devices as well, perhaps this is a move to "realign" both brands.

I shot them an email to pick their brain, we'll see if they respond!
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer V9 4TH on: April 16, 2018, 01:55:41 PM
I know this is a crazy question, but can anyone let me know if this device supports the cgminer API set like the S9 does?

Cheers.

Yea it does . it use CGminer as the soft ware miner .

Can you set the access control for the API, e.g. specify which IP can write and which can only read?  I didn't see a section in the screenshots that shot a place to input that information.

Cheers.
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Reviewing the Halong Mining DragonMint T1, a 10nm SHA-256 Miner on: April 13, 2018, 12:05:53 AM
Good review. Pls update us after few weeks how’s the performance ?
Also QUESTION: Since you opened the Miner , did you see SAMSUNG on any off the chips ? Curious to find out what the manufacturer or manufacturing process 10nm or 7nm??
Looks like there are heat sinks on both sides, you would have to pry them off of whatever adhesive they used.  I would hate to break a new toy.

Can you give me an easy way to test for what you want?
I don't have full access to them from where I am now, but if it's simple I can try to carve out sometime tomorrow or Tuesday.

I can't find a good image on Google to point you towards.  Maybe a screenshot of the advanced setting tab?  I'm running Avalons now or I would post a screen myself.

Cheers.

13  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] MiningRigRentals.com - Web pool manager - Easy Mass Rentals - Algos! on: April 01, 2018, 04:11:34 PM
Man I wish they would respond to my e-mail about linking workers.

Have a X10

create workers for all the algos(except X11 obviously)

Workers aren't linked so people can rent my rig several times.

pool list is say

1: myrgr
2:quark
3:skein
4:qubit

scenario one:person X rents quark. MRR still keeps the other three workers alive. person Y rents skein. no hashing because of the miner's priority list. have to apologise to the skein renter or extend his rental with the time MRR is busy with quark

scenario two: person X rents quark. MRR keeps the rest alive. person Y rents myrgr BAM quark renter gets kicked off and receives no hash.

so essentially what I have to do now is constantly keep a eye out for rental emails. go to MRR. disable the other workers and re-enable them when the rental is done. obviously I cant be awake or at my computer 24/7

so all I want is a possibility to LINK workers together so that is worker 2 gets rented that it automatically disables and re-enables 1,3 and 4

There is an API you can use to manage those things automatically, you could look into that.

I don't understand the profit losses on equihash. They are down nearly 50%. Price hasn't dropped 50%. The rational behind not giving more when prices rose was the ratio to btc. BTC has also dropped, so why the huge losses? What's the math behind that? What's the equation? Whose taking the money? Why? The hashing is still going on. Coin prices are only slightly down. Where do we find out?

Network difficulty for mined coins means the same hashrate will produce less coin over time.  Even if coin prices don't move, you're making less coins as difficulty increases.

Speaking as one who tried everything else first and ended up getting 220, I would suggest you skip the in between and just get the 220.

If you can afford to do this, best option.  I would figure out the heat first, though.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: March 01, 2018, 08:09:38 PM
It doesn't mean much right now, but I'll be glad to post pics and specs of the 5 units I ordered for the April batch if/when I receive them. I'm guessing they'll arrive on April 30th! Also, I ordered 10 PSUs with the hope of being able to run all of them off my standard 110v home circuits...2 PSUs per miner. If that doesn't work then I suppose I'll have to pay for a few 220v circuits to be installed. I remain optimistic about their arrival, of course!

Amperage is what you need to be on the lookout for at home, not necessarily voltage.  Your circuits probably run 15-20 amps per, and these miners will burn about 10 amps per unit at 110v.  You may be able to run two per circuit, but you'll be cutting it close.  If you upgrade to 220 you basically cut your amperage in half.  One 30 amp 220v circuit will run all five without tripping the breaker (although I would pay for two 30 amp circuits and balance them between).  Maybe an electrician can chime in here, I only know this stuff through experience, not trade.

Electricity aside, what you really have to deal with is the heat.  These devices are high wattage, and therefore create thousands of BTUs per machine.  You can find a calculator online to give you an estimate.  If you have these indoors you'll find that residential AC won't cut it, even with just three machines or so.  You'll need to devise a way to move hot air outside and pull an equal amount of cooler air into your space.  There is some math involved, and I suggest you do your due diligence and wrap your head around it before you have a 200f degree room in your home.

Good luck.

I try to enter repayment program but the button is just greyed out. Simply not clickable. Anybody experiencing the same problem?

Yes, I haven't been able to agree either.  I'm thinking it must be the pause between refilling an automated hot wallet from a manually accessed cold wallet.
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 8 official specs released on: January 22, 2018, 07:54:58 PM
821 price predicition for distributors

For 821  you can consider that the price could be anywhere between 3000 and 4000  per machine.

Avalon  841 release:

The 841  should start shipping in the March April time frame. Performance should range around 13TH and 12 Watts.

Not sure where you got your data but I wouldnt be sharing that information since it is not true.

He received it from the manufacturer, as did I.  Why do you feel it's not true?

Is nobody getting paid anymore? Do they manuelly have to except your witdrawls? Where does it say that you can not withdaw less than 0.1btc?  Huh

If you have a Coinbase account, you can withdraw your earnings directly to your account without any fees. I've been using it to withdraw my earnings on a daily basis without any problems.

I also have been withdrawing to my own wallet frequently.  No problems so far.

im interested with these new avalon miner but I have a question
does the 7 (i guess the 8 will have the same logic) push or pull the air from the fan

I use currently duct shroud for my s7 and would like to keep using this for my next avalon miner

thanks

It pulls air from the single fan.
