181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming Soon: China's Own Cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2019, 12:26:31 PM
China is a smart country, knowing the great potential of crypto that will not be unstoppable. They saw the crypto opportunity as one of the ways they controlled the world of commerce after they revived the modern silk route

Actually China is not keen to give their full support on cryptocurrency but the technology behind it which is the Blockchain, they are creating their own digital currency wherin they have full authority because they knew that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency cannot be controlled due to its nature of being a decentralized system but they see the big potential on Blockchain technology that will boost their financial system.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2019, 10:37:31 AM
In my opinion, the currency that the government controls will not bring strong fluctuations. For me, in this market, I like volatility, and most of us are the same. Besides, no one likes to be controlled, the current digital currency is anonymous, unregulated. So I do not appreciate the money that the government will create!

Of course it will not be highly volatile because China's digital currency is a stablecoin which is designed to minimize the large fluctuations and in my view it would not be a threat to cryptocurrency instead it will be recognized as Tether. If ever it becomes available on the market, the traders will just use it to safeguard the value of their holdings when the market is dumping.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange Listing on: October 29, 2019, 09:50:20 AM
You did not tell us if your asset is a token (e.g ERC 20) or natural coin, all the same you can check this legitimate website but they require a lot from you project before listing.

1, https://poloniex.com
2, https://www.altilly.com

You have a point because listing fees varies from the type of token for example Kucoin ask price start from 15 BTC for an ERC-20 tokens while 20 BTC for non ERC-20 tokens. Therefore projects who have their own blockchain have to pay more on listing because it will be an extra work for the developers to integrate their unique blockchain.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 29, 2019, 09:02:49 AM
I don’t think it’s worth taking a vacation and throwing an investment if you are an investor or quit participating in a bounty companies if you are a bounty hunter, because you will lose a lot of time and maybe you will lose a good profit, because you just need to approach everything wisely and spend as much time as you will not mind in the cryptocurrency and exactly those funds that you are not afraid to lose.

Based on what I understand from OP's statement is that sometimes people should take a break if things do not go well on their side, it doesn't mean that you will go on vacation and forget about crypto instead you are taking a break so you can have time to think about the things you did wrong and come back fresh with the right state of mind.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin beat Bank interest rates and inflation. :-> on: October 28, 2019, 06:02:13 PM
well, because banks only use fiat currencies whose value is very stable. so that the interest profit that you can get is from those who borrowed funds from the bank. different from bitcoin and other crypto currencies. this has very high trade fluctuations. in crypto, you can get a profit of more than 20% and can even reach 200-1000% if the fluctuation of the coin you buy is increasing greatly. but stay alert. investing in crypto isn't just about profits. but you must also understand the risks. there is no guarantee in crypto about your assets. when it's gone, you can't blame others.

That is the difference with Bitcoin and banks investment, it is given that Bitcoin offer a high returns but risky while bank offer low interest but guaranteed. I must say that all of us here are risk-taker because we choose Bitcoin investment over banks. This is also the reason why most of the bank are against Bitcoin because their customer is shifting into Bitcoin investment.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: October 28, 2019, 05:20:35 PM
Scam projects have made some damage but not killing the entire crypto industry because on the other hand they open the eyes of investors that crypto investment is not a rich quick scheme. Nowadays investors became smarter on picking new projects though its sad because it causes them to lose their hard earned money before realizing  it.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: October 28, 2019, 05:04:11 PM
Well gambling is one of the ways to have fun using cryptocurrency and it also offer the players to double or even triple their holdings if they win. Of course it will portrait bad image to others especially those who have few knowledge about crypto but nothing we can do about that since most of the cryptocurrency have no real use case at the moment which is why people choose to bet their crypto instead of holding.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: October 28, 2019, 04:40:59 PM
Any price under $200 is a good buy in my opinion, which means right now Eth is a steal.  I don't have any doubts that it will get back to its all time high eventually.

Absolutely because getting back at $200 is very possible for a strong coin like Ethereum and for me buying it now is not too risky because in the past couple weeks the price has been playing from $160 to $190. Ethereum 2.0 is coming which I think will make a good impact on its price.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: October 28, 2019, 03:55:41 PM
We all wish for this to happen so we could end this year with a bullish market, maybe it will come true if more president make a public comment that saying they support cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. We already experience a good effect from one president recently so what if we have more president like him Wink
190  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. Government Tried To Shut Down Bitcoin on: October 28, 2019, 02:55:23 PM
I would be hoping to see Trump also hurrying to regulations and probably the blockchain adoption as well in US for they will be behind with what China had been doing in the couple of years because there had been so much developments of projects related to blockchain and cryptocurrency. Tradewar is going to be tougher if they are not going to hurry.
Do you think US government and Trump administration are not doing anything for now in relation to bitcoin and blockchain technology? Im sure they are secretly studying and planning what will be the future actions in relation to digital currency and blockchain technology, for now they are against crypto but once they cannot control the momentum and user adoption they will follow what China is doing right now.

I somehow disagree with what you've said that US is against crypto because Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are regulated as both currency and as security under US law. They don't fully adopt crypto but they recognized it and as far as I know, most of the regulations for cryptocurrency are made by US regulators and then followed by other countries.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 28, 2019, 09:13:36 AM
Very tragic indeed for this SNTR coin from the price of $ 100 in a year to $ 2 less, this is very pathetic. First of all we have to look at the trading market for coins to be invested, usually I want the trading market to be at the top of the cmc for the coins, in addition to other analyzes that I have done, and I am more prepared on old coins and tested

This is not new in crypto investment as many projects have failed to maintain the initial price of their token after the token sale. If I'm correct SNTR have airdropped billions of tokens because they have 1 trillion total tokens based on the Whitepaper which I think is not good to look for as investment due to the large supply but less demand. With regards with day trading vs long-term hold, I think it will depend on a person because these two strategies have different ways.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 28, 2019, 08:19:51 AM
It's hard to tell if you can make a profit by participating during or after IEO because even good projects failed to sustain their IEO price once listed on exchange, I must say that investors should expect that all new project these days are for long-term goals whether its an ICO, IEO or STO.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Success factors of a project on: October 27, 2019, 06:22:24 PM
Having a financial support to sustain the project developments is a good thing but spending it wisely is what matter most because I've seen a lot of projects who have enough funds to run their project but failed to progress well especially during the bear market. Any project who wants to enter in crypto must be prepared, knowledgeable and always have a back up plans in order to survive.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Team and Cryptocurrency AMA on: October 27, 2019, 06:02:01 PM
We can say that the AMA is a good thing for us to know how widely the team members knows about their own project or their knowledge about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology but never rely your judgement on AMA only because sometimes people are only good at sweet talk.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: October 27, 2019, 05:43:50 PM
I am determined to buy FB coin Libra even though it is not available yet. I hope it is available on exchanges where i can buy easily.

Will it be a threat to BTC and other altcoins? I am afraid that the prices of BTC and other altcoins will go down. It makes me hesitate to buy some currencies like TRX currently.

I will also buy LIBRA coin ... because I see facebook coin has a lot of interest ... and maybe it can give me an advantage ... but facebook coin won't make bitcoin weak ... so don't worry too much about something that hasn't happened before. Until now no one has been able to make it low ..

Will you buy Libra coin to use it for the services they offer or for investment? it is a stablecoin so I don't think it will give you a good profit unless they sell it cheap during the public token sale and I'm not sure if they will conduct a public sale but I agree that Libra coin will not be threat to Bitcoin.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: October 27, 2019, 05:00:53 PM
I'm sick and tired of negative thoughts people are passing unto each other of here and believe me that won't help anybody ,infact its an act of discouragement which s not needed at all as an investor

- in the past I started with faucet ,yes you heard me right,I never had cash to buy coins so I kept gathering SATs through faucets and at that time bitcoin was at 1000+ per one so faucets payout was still very good and I did this for several months till 2017 bullrun and I make good profit through faucets ,why I'm sharing this is

+Sometimes you have to stay positive to achieve aims, neglect the negative thoughts ,I was in a very bad shape then and today I'm glad I'm able to have good big portfolio but LOOK WHERE I START FROM ,bounties and airdrops don't pay like in the past they say ,does that mean THEY WILL NEVER PAY AGAIN? What have you learned to be able to SPOT GOOD projects ?

-I won't give up because good things don't come easily ,just don't expect that you will make thousands of money as if money falls from the sky ,accept the challenges and you will get better than yesterday.

-people are saying ICOS are bad they don't pay ,same to airdrops too ,please kindly look at the profile of those spreading this news they still have SiGNATURES on there profiles means they don't give up ,you shouldn't too ,believe that things will get better with time and make yourself a better person than yesterday

-Scammers are making almost all ICO looks bad I accept but if we extract the scammers as if they never exist what about market condition? We can't do anything about it as it will take time to recover ,please let's not be weaklings ,let's stay strong ,keep patience alive and keep learning so we can get better at spoting good projects ,thank you.

Your words of encouragement is very much needed these days especially to those people who want to give up and forget the crypto-life due to their bad experience. I know the feeling of lossing something big because I've been on this space for a long time, instead of nagging or complaining I take it as a lesson and as you've said having a positive thinking helps a lot.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't react to the fluctuations on: October 27, 2019, 04:12:05 PM
Market fluctuations is natural in crypto and some traders see it as an opportunity to make a quick profit so I think it is wrong not to react on market fluctuations unless your goal is long term then it is not advisable to buy during this situation because its hard to tell if you buy at dips due to the price changes in short period of time.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: October 27, 2019, 03:42:55 PM
Well good to know you can trade well and make profits on it, i hold some for long-term and also trade some to gain profits and increase my portfolio. Some people don't know how trade so they choose to hold.

Exactly! I'm not good on trading that is why I prefer holding, I know that a lot of traders gain profit everyday but I've heard that it is more riskier than holding and as far as I know you need to dedicate time for trading which is not appropriate for me because I have others things to do in real life.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin cross $50,000 by Dec 2020? on: October 27, 2019, 03:29:33 PM
Woahh! I just wish it’ll reach that amount but back to reality, we haven’t even reach the $20,000 mark which was long been predicted and now $50,000 in Dec 2020? hmmmm I just think it is quite impossible. Bitcoin still has a long way to go and we still even not sure will reach $20k in 2020 so I won’t buy on bitcoin having $50k in dec 2020, I don’t know but I just feel that with all the manipulation going on from time to time that made people having second thoughts about bitcoin, $50k is just a big price but who knows, maybe a miracle will happen let see when we get there.

A small possibility indeed, the $50,000 USD sure is a great price for Bitcoin to settle, but the possibility is pretty much slim but maybe it will if the whales would interrupt with Bitcoin and may have their own pump manipulation again that can be possible but given the latest all-time high the price might just sit to $30,000 or $40,000 USD only.

Don't worry you are not the only one who's having second though because there are many indeed that have the same prediction and including myself.

Anything can happen within this space and I'm positive that year 2020 will be a good year for Bitcoin given that the halving is coming. We may or not reach $50k but I'm pretty sure that we will surpass the $20k mark and create a new ATH for Bitcoin. The history of Bitcoin halving will always repeat  Cool
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project to invest. on: October 27, 2019, 02:34:07 PM
OP's tips is quite good and will help others to determine a good project but I found a post from user lobat999 that I highly recommend for everyone to follow in order to identify good and scam projects.

Here are some of my questions which could serve as a checklist in determining whether an ICO is right for investment or not or whether its a scam or not?:

1. Does it have a sound business plan and original and not a copy paste idea?
2. Does it already have an MVP?
3. Does it have a Github repository already?
4. Do the development team are capable in delivering the product?
5. Does the team's identities verifiable or have been verified?
6. Does it have a realistic roadmap?
7. Does the team give utmost importance to their promises and perform deliverables?
8. Does the project exercise more transparency on project related matters?
9. Does the project's have excellent and justifiable tokenomics?
10. Does the project have positive peer reviews among trustworthy members of the community?
