41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for New Altcoins on: December 05, 2019, 11:01:06 PM
1. Why there are still investors in the new altcoins project? For what they invest if they know new altcoins are only about risks and losses?

Crypto investors are hoping that the project with some potential will grow its value over time because they believe that cryptocurrency has a bright future and they want to involve as earlier as possible to maximize the profit.

2. Who are those developers that always create new altcoins projects? Don't they know that most new projects just ended with failure?

For me most of the developers these days are just here to earn some money and doesn't really care about the project because they always imitate the project's idea from others.
42  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: !!!! Stolen BTC LOST BTC !!!!! on: December 03, 2019, 10:30:09 AM
Sad to say but the chances of getting back your BTC is zero because the site you invested is totally a scam, did you make any research before you register? because if you did then you should knew that the site was created 2019-08-21 (based on ipinfo) which means they are new and doesn't have any reputation yet in cloud mining also if you notice on their contact page https://set-mining.com/contact.htm the email details was support@mining-server.com which is different from their domain name, doesn't it looks red flag to you? I hope you learn your lesson and never ever scam again like this.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $16M in Stolen Ethereum from Upbit Were Just Transferred on: December 01, 2019, 07:00:53 PM
from my perspective, why only ethereum was stolen, why not all of bitcoin and the erc20 tokens as well. and why this also happens when the moment like this, looks like a "drama" but the issue is immediately ignored by the upbit, and upbit bravely responsible for returning all ethereum stolen by hackers. I know hackers are getting smarter but it's still weird, only ethereum is stolen. Even so, hopefully with incident like yesterday, I hope other market exchanges will start to increase security so that the same incident does not recur.

You've got a point and I was also thinking that maybe the Upbit ETH hacked is some kind of FUD to pull down its price given that the Ethereum 2.0 is soon to launch and a lot of people are expecting much with the upcoming upgrade because it might be the time for Ethereum to reach a new ATH so the Upbit hacked wherein ETH was only stolen is really weird.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French High School Students Will Learn About Bitcoin And Crypto on: December 01, 2019, 06:32:57 PM
Good move for France! planting a seed of knowledge to the young minds of people will help them to better understand the technology and use it on their advantages in the future. I hope other countries will follow their actions because it will make cryptocurrency much stronger once all people have a better understanding about pros and cons of cryptocurrency especially in securing their crypto assets.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: December 01, 2019, 06:09:17 PM
I've seen a lot of post from other members here that plans to buy Bitcoin every month or every time they get their paycheck and for me buying Bitcoin every week is only applicable for those people who have huge funds because for a small investor, even they believe in Bitcoin it is still hard to put their hard earned money every week as they have other important things to spend the money.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 01, 2019, 06:02:17 PM
Just let Nouriel Roubini say what he wants because we know for ourself that its just a pure negativity towards cryptocurrency although anything can happen in crypto space but with the current development of Ethereum and continuous marketing across the globe then his prediction that ETH going to zero is just dream.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The only one way to always get your tokens after bounty ends on: December 01, 2019, 05:17:36 PM
Trusted and well-known bounty managers here in the forum is most likely use an escrow or other means to verify the payment for management and bounty hunters whenever they manage a new campaign although, most of the time those campaign that have escrow offer low rewards while some that don't have escrow offer great rewards and this is the risk for bounty hunters that they take.
48  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cypto-Forum.net - Get Paid Cryptos for Post! on: November 30, 2019, 06:56:23 PM
50 000 bitz= 0.022 eth
so 1 bitz = 0.00000044 eth

so pay range is [0,0000352; 0,0000506] Eth
when I'm writting : 1Eth = 153.80$
So one post : [ 0.00541376  ; 0.00778228] $

The offer is very little for a paid per post campaign especially that they are new. In addition, participants will not get paid by BTC or ETH but with their own coin/token and it's my first hearing about this Bitz so does anyone here have participate on this campaign? does exchange Bitz to BTC or ETH is fast and easy?
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain-based Elections? on: November 30, 2019, 06:25:13 PM
Corrupt politicians will never be in favor for a more transparent voting system, I doubt my country will follow this one because I know they will do their best to prevent this to happen.

Sad but truth and as we can see now only few companies or banks acknowledge blockchain because the other who are against it knew that once blockchain is integrated, everything will be transparent and it will be hard for them to do their bad intentions since people will clearly see how the system works. As for the government they will do anything with their power to prevent any technology that may hinder them to take full control with elections.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2019, 05:55:16 PM
Most women are not fond of technical stuff because their interest are those things that is easy to use and understand so they can share or talk about it to their network of friends. I also think that they are avoiding it because of the risk of money involved in cryptocurrency since women are cautious in terms of spending money.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is big news for Germany Bitcoiners out there! on: November 30, 2019, 05:11:06 PM
Financial institutions in Germany like banks offering crypto-related services directly to their clients is a great news indeed because other countries will follow once they see positive outcomes and hopefully they will be able to implement this by year 2020 so might achieved crypto mass adoption sooner.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a question on: November 30, 2019, 04:50:18 PM
I think the problem is not completely in transaction volume, the problem is that the truly decentralized exchanges at the present time use "Smart Contract" to execute orders, so it has a slow speed, bad interface , difficult to use And only exchanged for a few coins

Regarding the bad interface, I think that developers get less profit from DEX compare to CEX that is why they don't really put much effort for its interface. In addition, DEX'es is marketed less which is why some people don't really know about DEX and how to use it.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why Bitcoin can only go down on: November 28, 2019, 06:14:32 PM
OP is a man of pure negativity because at the moment of this post, Bitcoin is up with 1.94% and trading around $7,662 so about OP saying Bitcoin can only go down is a pure lie Tongue Tongue Tongue
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: November 28, 2019, 05:44:55 PM
Laziness is one of the reasons why some people still believe what others says, they don't want to make their own reasearch because they knew it will take some time that is why they prefer to listen to other people's advise on which coin to buy. Maybe they are being greedy too because once they see that there is an offer of huge returns then they instantly invest on the coin without doing proper investigation.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum prices may never again reach 1000$, says analyst on: November 28, 2019, 05:36:38 PM
if bitcoin surge higher eth will definitely surge too

This is exactly what I'm thinking although ETH is not totally dependent with BTC but if there is a price rally for Bitcoin then it could make some effect to pull the price of Ethereum. There is an up-coming big updates for Ethereum that might help the price to increase, also there's a lot of new project that use ETH as base currency for their crowdfunding which means that there still demand for ETH.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 06:58:45 PM
Even though they will cover customer funds, but i think some customers will lose trust in the upbit exchanger for fear of the case of funds being hacked again. And i always keep my assets in my personal wallet and not in wallet exchangers.
Hopefully this problem is quickly resolved

i think many customers still using after this hacked because upbit will replace the hacked fund with corporate funds, with this there is no customer harm.

I agree with @kaneki007 that the upbit users might lost their trust with the exchange due to the recent hack news and even if they cover the fund loss it will take some time from now so what if one of the users who lost its funds badly needed the money right now, do you think there is no harm? The other sad part about this news is that upbit has to face a huge fund loss that may lead them to close their exchange.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 27, 2019, 06:35:08 AM
I'm not lucky with gambling so I rarely gamble but whenever I play, I always set a certain amount of money that I can afford to lose and never ever add another funds. Sometimes if I get lucky, when my funds became double or triple then I will keep my capital + some earnings then just play along with the remaining.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When next bull run happen?? on: November 27, 2019, 06:02:53 AM
No one knows for sure but based on the market history of Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin always went up at least 1 year after the halving so there's a high chance that it might happen again. Just keep on holding and buying during the dips because I strongly believe that the bullish market will come and no one can stop it.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 26, 2019, 05:42:17 PM
In my opinion, any coin can die because there is competition. Even if a coin solves some problems and is successful, it can be replaced by a more successful coin with better ideas. Although in general I agree with you.

Your're point is valid since crypto is a free market wherein anyone can create a new project with same ideas but more developed compare to the old one. Competition is one of the main reason why we have many altcoins in the market so for developers aside from solving real-life problems they must be competitive also in order to stay long in the market.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to Expect in the Cryptocurrency Market Forecast by 2020? on: November 26, 2019, 05:20:58 PM
Cryptocurrency become more popular as the day passed and I think that large companies who adopt Blockchain technology is a stepping stone towards mass adoption for crypto, it may not happen next year but I'm hoping more positive things to happen in crypto-space so people will be aware and understand the real worth of cryptocurrency and the benefits they can get.
