241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "I cannot afford 1 BTC"-Problem on: July 24, 2017, 08:38:16 PM
Hi everyone,

I have a question concerning the current high value of a BTC. I talk a lot with friends who don't know much about BTC and try to convince them to buy some too.

When I tell them about it, the same question which always comes up is:

"But since it is so expensive (2000-3000$), how can I afford 1 BTC?"

I always tell them that it is possible to buy 0.5 BTC or even 0.001 BTC. But I think this is a major problem which gets worse with the price rising even higher.

So here is my question:

Are there any plans on changing BTC to make it "look more affordable"? Perhaps introduce something like mBTC (worth 0.001 BTC / 1 BTC = 1000 mBTC) so that people have a better feeling buying something, which is not a number behind a zero (e.g. 0.025).

I don't want it to become something like a "discount looking currency". But it's a psychological problem, that people don't like to buy only a part of something or (as in this case) often don't know that they can buy less than 1 BTC.

To say "Well, the people who don't know better shouldn't buy anyway" seems to be the wrong approach on the way to mass adaption.

Such units like the μBTC, mBTC and satoshis exist already. But using this units won't make the bitcoin price look more affordable. Why? Because 1,000 mBTC for example is still just equal to 1 BTC. No matter how big it looks, it still has the same value. Now if they want to, they can buy 1 mBTC, but it is just equivalent to 0.001 BTC. In the end it won't depend on how the consumer feels about buying. It will still depend on how much the consumer is willing to pay in exchange for bitcoins.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 24, 2017, 01:31:47 PM
Hey Bitcoiners? I'm desperate to start earning BTC
I'll do any kind of online activity as long as there's a Bitcoin payment. Where do I start?

There are actually a lot of ways to earn bitcoins online without buying.

You can instantly earn bitcoins in various faucets. These are websites that give you a small amount of bitcoins every minute or every hour usually for you try out their gambling site without risking your own money. Such sites require a minimum withdrawal fee that ranges from 30 to 80 thousand satoshis. And since they only give a little, it will probably take a long time before you can withdraw. Next, as I have mentioned recently, are the gambling sites. Here you can try your luck and play different games like casino, lottery, dice games and others for the chance to win bitcoins. But there is also the risk of losing everything instead of earning, so my advice is not to invest here but to use the faucets instead and try to profit from it. Of course there are the signature campaigns. Here in this forum, you can join a campaign depending on your rank, and get paid weekly by posting on bitcoin related topics while wearing an ad in your signature. This is probably the easiest way to earn and this is the method that I am using. These three are just some of the ways to earn bitcoins. You can always search the internet or other parts of this forum for more various ways of earning bitcoins. Good luck!

244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: July 24, 2017, 04:36:45 AM
Why use Bitcoins ?

I keep seeing threads on “why don't people” ? The real question to me is Why would they ?

-The average consumer will go way out of their way to save money. Bitcoins cost more.
-The average consumer will usually pay a little extra to have convenience. Bitcoin is less convenience and more hoops and complications.

I just cannot see any reason for the average consumer to use Bitcoins. Until average consumers start using Bitcoins they will just be an experiment and a small speculative bubble.

I have my personal reasons, I am interested Bitcoins them as a tech person, speculative investor and person that follows evolving treads and markets. I am just struggling to see any.. benefits for the average consumer at this stage.

The main function of bitcoin is to serve as a storage of your wealth, while having its value increasing as time pass by. Now why should the average consumer use bitcoins? It's because bitcoin transactions are much faster compared to ones using regular cash when buying goods and services, and the transaction fees are low, or free in some cases. It is actually more convenient and easier to use. And if you want to, you can convert it into fiat money anytime.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2017, 10:58:19 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

Personally, If ever I will be able to start earning bitcoins, I do not know where to invest it. My current plan is just to earn some every week by joining signature campaigns, convert it immediately into fiat, and use it to buy some stuff that I want. I am still a college student anyway, so it is more like an online job for me. But I am hopeful that someday I will have more knowledge about bitcoin so that I will be able to invest too.
246  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 22, 2017, 08:37:09 AM
Which one suits you the most?

The one that I use is Xapo wallet. I used it because I have tried to earn bitcoins from different faucets before. Withdrawing from faucets using this wallet is absolutely free, unlike other bitcoin wallets that charges a withdrawal fee. It is usually the one that suits the best to those who want to earn using faucets.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which affects the btc price on: July 22, 2017, 12:12:06 AM
I just follow btc developments this month. I see every day btc price up and down. Which is my question, what are the factors that affect the rising price of the btc? Whether shareholders btc, altcoin, or btc users themselves? Huh Huh

The price of a bitcoin can be affected by the law of supply and demand. This means that its value will depend on what the market is willing to pay. The more people that want to buy bitcoins, the more its price increases. And if a lot if huge bitcoin investors suddenly decided to cash out their bitcoins because of security reasons for example, the price goes down. Compared to other currencies, bitcoin's value is much volatile.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: July 21, 2017, 12:41:01 PM
Invest some of it, yeah.  You have to realize how frigging volatile bitcoin is, though.  There's nothing that says we have to stay at or break above $2500.  We could be back down to $1500 or lower by tomorrow.  Do I think that's going to happen?  No, but it's possible.  So if you're young and don't have a retirement plan and have extra money to play with, do it.  But be ready to lose money...and hope you don't.

I wouldn't put too much into crypto.

Yes, that is right. I totally agree with you. There is no way that we would ever know what will happen to bitcoin, like if its price will go higher or lower. There is always a risk of losing your money so I would advice you not to invest all of it. The best thing to do is to invest some and profit from it.

Then sa coins.ph makikita mo ung bitcoin. Para malaman mo ung bitcoin wallet mo pindutin mo ung receive tapos meron dun random letters and number ayun ung bitcoin wallet mo.
Example :JA71najGsjUsagel6538

May dalawang basic campaign services.

  • illike and isshare mo ung mga post nila at dapat naka set ung publicity ng post mo as Public

Basic diba.

  • Bawal ang spam. mag post kayo or comment every 30mins-1hr interval

Economy --> Marketplace -->Services

O kelangan 1 post per day lang hanggang mag rank up?

Hey guys, are there any fellow summoners out there? I just want to ask some tips and know your opinions. How can I climb up the ranks at League of Legends? I am currently at Silver 1 with 0 LP. Last season I was able to reach Gold 5. I really want to climb higher even just up to Platinum 5. Can anybody give me some advice?
256  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Your Favorite YouTube Channel? on: July 21, 2017, 06:04:02 AM
I really like James Bartholomew's channel and Kelly Valleau's channel. They are both great fingerstyle guitarists and their covers are so awesome, though I just recently discovered this channels I think I have watched almost all of their popular videos. Another one is Sungha Jung's channel. This guy is the first fingerstyle guitarist that I was able to listen to and watch on youtube. The guy is really just a prodigy ever since he was a kid.

Hello! I was just wondering if there are any other fingerstyle guitarists here? I really enjoy playing the guitar using this technique and I am hoping that some of you can give me some tips to help me improve my skills. Also I would like to ask if you guys know some sites that offer free and cool tabs? Thanks guys I'd appreciate your replies.  Grin

It's nice to see a fellow summoner! I also play League of Legends and I have one level 7 mastery champ for each role except for support haha. I have Irelia for toplane, Xin Zhao for jungle, Talon for midlane, and Quinn for botlane. I don't have any level 7 mastery support, but i have a level 6 amumu and sometimes I play it as support. I also play shen and maokai as support and I enjoy playing them even though I don't have any mastery level for them yet.
