If he comes with chicken, I agree. Friendcat is the best cat.
FWIW, Friendcat was in response to the new shareholder who asked questions about his new shares. He wrote Friendcat, not Friedcat

Does anyone know what is the reason for the last crash of ASICMiner hashing power? In less than a week it came down from 37.24 TH/s to 13.9 TH/s, http://www.asicminercharts.com/Leading theories: 1) Replacing Gen2 devices with Gen3 so that Gen2 devices can be sold to the public. 2) Power/Datacenter issues in Southern China.

Who the fuck are you to judge weather im obsessing or calm. If you're that old, you should know better.
Can I just add that you seem angry? Chill out dude

My biggest fear with AM is that friedcat loses the shareholder list. How is it stored?
Since this is a speculation thread, I heard it was a Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet on OS/2 Warp. I have no source, however. (I think the answer is that nobody knows )

hashrate at 14 TH/s? We haven't been that low since May!
Where'd you get that? We're at a 4 day average of 20.75. 1 day average is 21.15.

Keep in mind that hardware sales are posted a few minutes before the divs are paid.. So it makes it tough to get an accurate estimate prior to div payment.

Did AM move some hashing power from solo to a pool, or where did this all go? http://www.asicminercharts.com/Or are they moving it all out of the way to get bigger and badder machines in?! I find it slightly odd that no-one seems to know the answer to this. Dont you all think you should know why a significant drop in power is happening within YOUR company? Why is it odd? None of us work for AM, nor are most of us on the board. Shareholders don't typically brood over every little fart a company makes. Be patient young padawan. Didnt realize i was brooding TAT, and ive just looked up the meaning of padawan. Bloody condescending from my view point, considering im probably twice your age. Just saying to stay calm. Obsessing over it won't do any good. I highly doubt you are double my age. I want to speculate on the ratio of my age to your age. Is that allowed in this thread? I suspect it's close to 1.25 (you) to 1 (me). I would be surprised if it were 1:1, and even more surprised if it were 2:1.

Thanks all of you for your replies Reading the thread isn't making me comfortable to give my BTCs to these people. Sry The chart means that the AM-Hashrate went down. This is unrelated to difficulty or competition. They might have a different kind of problems (power supply, overheating, rearrangement, etc.) Promised future technology mines exactly at zero hashrate now. Haha, nice Is there any other info about that drop of ASICMINER's hashrate? I wouldn't be glad to buy the stock which will jump to half in few days. Do someone know how big will be the today's dividend? There is a speculation thread on this page that will provide some insight. Leading theory is that ASICMINER is taking off Gen2 miners and replacing them with Gen3. Gen2 miners will then be sold to the public at a fixed price, like previous sales of Gen1 miners. The second leading theory (IMO) is datacenter/power issues in southern China.

Nobody guessing dividends today? I did: MD5: fdacc2f7eb3aceb9cf6ce08748784e91 I noticed on your chart that the dividend address has been "zerored" out.. Did they send divs already? Nevermind. I r dum.

Interesting idea.. I think something like this would be a good for getting some additional major players involved in BTC trading.
Good luck with your project! Wish I had the BTC required to make this happen.

Hash rate is dropping, competitor pools are increasing, hardware sales are minimal, and the mining dividend is stuck at .015. If BTC/USD crashes in the next day or so, I am afraid that AM may go to 2.5 or lower.
Seriously, the hash rate looks like something major happened. I haven't seen any news from Friedcat, but I'm expecting issues at the data center. I certainly hope not, because this is really the wrong time for mining revenue to decrease.
We could be seeing a perfect storm brewing OR it could be nothing, and Friedcat is bringing in loads more TH/s to increase the mining revenue.
So, what do you guys think? Cash in on some profits before dividend drop or what? Where will we see the floor by next Sunday?
Every time I try to outsmart something like this in the short-term, I lose. We are flirting with 10 th/s over the past 24 hours, though. I'm going to ride it until the wheels fall off, or I can pay off my house. Whichever comes first Ian

Sold half of its blades to some rich Chinese people who interest to mining business, and received RMB with transaction. Received RMB could prevent exchange this amount of BTC over exchange will absolutely caused a huge price dump...Friedcat a nice guy makes every possibly effort to protecting us.. God bless you ,mate!!!
This is just pro-ASICMINER rhetoric until we can confirm. Information without sources are more harmful than good. If you have a source, post it.

I have asicminer.org / bitfountain.org if anyone is interested in putting something quality there and doing regular updates. Would you contact ThickAsThieves, FrankTank, VJain or myself? We would probably be interested. We're collecting questions from the community, allowing the community to vote, and TAT is submitting them to Friedcat for us. This might be a nice place to post/mirror the info. Ian
