That's a good question. as an investor i thought it was too... and if there strategy was too just keep it under the radar and not talk about it then a simple pm stating so would have worked... simply banning me for such a question is childish.. esp/ someone that has invested thousands of dollars into their project... |

hope someone can help me out..
trying to load my wallet.. already made one and saved back ups.. when i go to restore wallet from back ups i load my bin file.. it ask for my password... i copy and paste my password and its saying its invalid.... im 100% certain its the password i use to create the wallet... so why isnt it letting me load my wallet? issue with site?
also why cant i load my wallet using my public address and private key.. what good is the private key if you require a password instead?

created new wallet... closed browser tried to reload wallet same way with my old wallet... says invalid password!!! IS THIS A SCAM OR IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG?  Get on the Slack channel and ask there before yelling things like scam etc. yes i was a little worked up... wouldn't you be... anyways i figured it out... for some reason the bin file i downloaded when making a new wallet did not work.. re-saving it somehow made it work... took way to long to figure out and dont even know why it made a difference and i doubt ill be the last to have the issue... its kinda irritating not being able to load a wallet with a private key.. this just drove me crazy for the last two hours and dont wanna deal with it again.. ill be selling my coins and moving on.. no worres.. sorry for yelling scam when i was angry.. no scam here |

airdrops have there use.. unfortunate scammer to advantage of it and gave airdrops a bad name
if a legitimate project doesn't want to deal with legal issue right away an ICO might not be best.. by airdropping they coins the can avoid legal issues in most countries.... also by the team keeping some of the coins it make them work for their money.. some of the bigger successes with come from airdrops.. you will see this soon...
but comes good is bad... alot of airdrops are being use as a marketing tool to get people to buy more.. and when you buy more the team dumps all their coins then disappears... thats when you need to use your judgement on which airdrops are good and bad.. but just because a coin was airdropped doesn't mean its bad.. if the project is solid and continuing to move forward.. then it might be the best thing you ran into

Yes there is calculator on website. If you have lets say 1000 ACC then stacking it every 3rd is worth it. Otherwise once every 90th day or bit before to not miss deadline. Because clock will reset after 90 days. Clock doesn't reset at 90 days Clock stays the same at 90 days.... If you stake at 100 days you would get the same reward as if you staked at 90 days..... |

Will there be an official team website with real names? This way you would create trust into your project. I really like your project, but without a team website it feels a lil bit scammy to many investors.
why do people always ask for a team?... the biggest scams have teams behind them, so what good is it really? they have said they will talk about the team when the time is right.. i dont think they have the funds to spend on legal matters.. as we know where they are based, im sure the fees would be pretty pricey.... as there was no ico, has a working prototype, an active dev and everything professional all around.. i doubt many should think this is a scam just because we cant see a face.. id rather they be protected anyways... |

I was airdropped 0.001 of a token. This seems quite low in comparison with others. what did i do wrong?
same here. would like to hear if this was the standard amount. everyone that had POS token in their wallet received a small airdrop of .001 ACC.... the original airdrop that took place last month, people got anywhere from 0-100 tokens... but you had to be present at the time and send the dev your eth address |

Mining every 3rd day is better option, especially if you have 1000 ACC or more. In that case overall increase will be more by end of the year because of compounding interest. First year increase will be 415% provided you mine every 3rd day and don't move out any ACC to sell etc
Can we all use similar terms to not confuse people.... Staking and mining are two different things.. Staking your coins are where you hold coins for 3-90 days and stake your reward by sending coins to yourself* in return you get more ACC tokens... Mining.. Is where you SPEND your ACC tokens in return for mining other coins. Such as Eth or btg at the moment or other coins in the near future.. I think I'd would much less confusing if we all can use they same terms and people can understand this token more |

UPDATE from dev, I asked about why mining ether by buying ACC from Etherdelta isn't profitable right now. Here is their response
"Yeah, its never going to be profitable to do that. Otherwise anyone could just go buy ACC tokens, and make more money. That would be a scam. We make money by marking up the price of compute orders. Thats how we build out the datacenter and add more capacity. The prices were really low to start because we needed to test the system at load. But the only way to make money with Accelerator is to buy the token and hold it. The compute pricing is inverse of the token price So if the token price goes up, the compute pricing goes down.
Once our datacenter is built out we will be lowering the compute pricing or building a larger datacenter. A lot more details are going to be released later this week, working on a new site and a built in buy only exchange."

I like that they are honest enough to say that it won't be profitable, so it's not a scam. But I wonder what's the point if using their computing power always results in a net loss? If the price of the token goes up, but mining still results in a loss compared to replacing the tokens, then surely you should just sell the tokens, even if it's profitable compared to the price you originally paid. Am I missing something? It seems like more thought needs to go into this business model. This means it isn't profitable if you buy ACC Tokens and instantly use them for mining, you can hodl ACC and use them for mining when the price goes up or you use the tokens from staking every 3 days to mine. What way of POS mining is more profitable for ACC Tokens: to do mining every 3 days or to do this once of a 90 days? Is there any working staking calculator for the Accelerator Network or the tool that is calculating coinage address? Staking calculator is on the website |
