Good list of top 5. Personally I have invested in CoinMetro and wanted to invest in ArcBlock but it sold out too fast!

I would also add to your list - CREDITS (www.credits.com)

208  Local / India / Re: Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and a HashOcean clone called Gainbitcoin. on: January 22, 2018, 03:16:30 PM
So we have a thread full of details and proofs that Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar has stolen from people and he is still at large? Or has he been caught?

He is very much at large, launching new projects scams at this very moment. He is a serial scammer who is riding a tiger and doesn't know how to get off without being eaten. Where have I heard that before?
209  Local / India / Re: Coinsecure shady tactics for profit. Borderline scam. on: January 22, 2018, 05:22:25 AM
Coinsecures website doesn't let you enter a Bitcoin amount with more than 3 digits after the decimal point. So if you made a purchase of 0.055 Bitcoins you will get 0.05478000 Bitcoins because they charge 0.4% fee, which is totally fine. They even show how much you get in their wallet.

Now here's the problem if after some time you want to sell off those Bitcoins and you try to enter 0.05478 guess what? YOU CAN'T.
All you can do is enter 0.054 and CONGRATULATIONS you just lost 0.00078 Bitcoins.

Probably the fractional BTC won't be lost but will remain in your CoinSecure account.

Btw, the moderator on this India forum is Mr. Benson Samuel (Founder of CoinSecure).

211  Local / India / Re: Scams in India on: January 19, 2018, 01:26:10 PM
Actually, Mcap founder gave full-page advertisement on all national newspaper on cryptocurrency course which gave him nationwide publicity and fame

Is it really a scam? `

is the sky really blue?

Actually, Mcap founder gave full-page advertisement on all national newspaper on cryptocurrency course which gave him nationwide publicity and fame

yes, he has done that several times and also written a so called 'book' on crypto which is absolute nonsense and rubbish, luring innocent people to invest their hard earned money with him.  Please be aware that any company associated with Amit Bhardwaj is a scam - GainBitcoin, GBMining, BitcoinGrowthFund, MCAP Tokens, etc, etc, etc
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★ [ANN] Bitcoin S: The revolutionized and improved form of payment ★ on: January 18, 2018, 08:57:42 AM
Nice to see some movement here.  Exchange wise, I would like to see it listed on Kucoin, Binance, HitBTC, Bittrex (in no particular order). Smiley
214  Local / India / Scams in India on: January 15, 2018, 03:11:14 PM
Just came across a recent article: https://scroll.in/article/864949/bitcoin-scams-how-indian-investors-eager-for-quick-profits-are-being-duped-by-conmen

He forgot to mention the big daddy - Bhardwaj.
215  Other / Ivory Tower / Charity Projects with Crypto on: January 15, 2018, 06:02:35 AM
Well, I am about a year into the crypto-world now, and I have seen massive movements in terms of prices, and people getting into cryptocurrencies in 2017. No doubt a large majority of this is speculation, but I also remember that the crypto community has a spirit of giving, and wanting to change the world for the better.

Since 2017 was very good to mostly everyone in cryptos, and you would have had to be an absolute imbecile to have lost money, I decided to make a donation around the end of Dec.  While hunting for a good cause that accepted crypto, I found a major lack of options.

Sure WikiLeaks and the EFF and a few other options such as the BitGive Foundation (https://www.bitgivefoundation.org/) exist, but surely there is large scope for more grassroots efforts in this space?  I live in India, where no amount of charity is enough, we have over half a billion people just barely surviving...

I would welcome a discussion to think about possible new models of charity with cryptocurrencies / tokens, which benefits both, the giver & those who need it most.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reliance JioCoin on: January 13, 2018, 05:16:13 PM
If it is successful, government will ban it.

I have full faith in India's progressive government.  Grin

doesn't make sense at all.

The Reliance conglomerate is pretty much one and the same with the Indian Govt when it comes to policy making and legislation. Its unlikely they would spend resources putting together a 50 person team to study the applications of cryptos and blockchain unless they know there is a future for them for certain in India. In my view, this is a plus for cryptos in India as the current state of no legislation leaves Indian crypto investors wondering when the Govt will come knocking at their door. The Jio coin is a further step towards the Govt eventually having no choice but to come out with sensible regulation and taxation policies for Indian citizens.

Perhaps a bit of patience regarding the Snovio ICO will be beneficial to all STA holders.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reliance JioCoin on: January 12, 2018, 04:23:41 AM
you've got too much time on your hands.

edit: just googled as well, you should have posted a link to the article. looks like very early days, they don't even know what to use it for yet.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What You Think Of DeepOnion? on: January 12, 2018, 04:19:24 AM
Huge Ponzie scheme with a nice signature payout to draw in more suckers. I should be interesting to see how big it gets before the entire thing comes crashing down.
certainly not a Ponzi scheme. they are not attracting investors by promising some stupid high yield return. They are just airdropping their tokens until distribution is complete.  Airdrop does not equal Ponzi.

seems tricky. it may be used for illegal stuff. what are the predictions on this?

Whats your point? USD is used for illegal shit all day long and twice at night. People that say this .... need to learn a thing or two.

Well Said.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP BTT] SATOSHI (STH) - Anonymity and justice! on: January 11, 2018, 06:16:32 AM
what is the plan with the swap? I have the original airdrop tokens still...  it gets hard to keep track of things sometimes, every coin has different things going on, some just die. I hope this will create something useful .
