I am not going to debate with you mate. You have your own opinion which I respect, but it so happens that it does not coincide with the team's plans, at least for now, for the reasons I explained.

You will not succeed in convincing anyone with repeated aggressive posts, even if you were right.

No team would accept to work with you and have you as a watchdog and as someone who hinders efficient decision making.

We invited you to contribute in our work channels, and if you could prove that you have skills that would benefit the leading team, then you would earn everyone's respect and a possible spot in the management team.

Whilst we did promise transparency and continuous communication, we never promised direct democracy, elections and voting. You cannot blame us for something we never promised. It is a huge misunderstanding of yours. I quote my post from a few days ago:

"Voting and decision making: There will be voting between the 7 members of the new team (so far we have a very good understanding and we have full consensus). Adding more members in the team wouldn't be effective right now, considering that we will have 1 to 2 main devs as well soon. We actively listen to all opinions posted here. We will be fully reasoning our decisions. We will keep being fully transparent and actively listening and communicating with the community. If we fail to deliver, we will resign/step down."

You chose to quit and to blackmail us, threatening that you would dump your coins and then you started spamming this thread and posting a bunch of inconsistent statements.

I think I have fully addressed this matter and from now on I choose to ignore any replies of zeki555, as I need to be more productive and to focus towards the project's success.

Some of the special functions that these nodes perform are:

- Increasing privacy of transactions
- Doing instant transactions
- Participating in governance and voting
- Enable budgeting and treasury system in cryptos

https://coinsutra.com/masternodes/

Implementing masternodes will not affect the zcash compatibility, implementing masternodes would enable instant transactions as stated above, so you wouldn't have to need the zcash udate in the first place. It's not really a risk if the code is allready available, just look at snowgem, the first equihash algo with masternodes. They have a great wallet too you can adopt improve and rebrand. There's really no reason to wait or use a fork to test masternodes. You should ask the community what they think.

Please see my previous post as well.

We are currently working on quite a few things and we are trying to assemble a capable team. There are many volunteers and we have our door fully open for all of them.
Once the team agrees on a solid plan, formal announcements will follow.
We are aware of the priorities, our tech people have already started working on updating zer code and researching on wallet options and we are also considering a bounty for a wallet and/or miner, and once these two top priorities (wallet and miner) get resolved, it will be much easier to apply for new exchange listings.

Our marketing manager Ingar has also some brilliant ideas about applications and marketing/promotions, and along with other community members he is already working on a new website that will debut within a few days.

An this is what our tech expert, Cryptoforge.cc, stated on telegram recently:

"We are currently in the process of reviewing open source projects across the zcash ecosystem to identify possible  port candidates. We are also setting up a github to house all of the ports we are working on so you all can see the progress".

The new thread looks much more informatics than old one.
It’s a good sign.  Wink

But still I can’t see any information about future developments plans.

What about implementing for example hybrid POW/POS, masternodes?
Any ideas to reach more popular exchanges, to launch any promo actions?

Some kind of whitepaper would be great too.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZER] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER 2018 on: April 13, 2018, 01:14:43 PM
I wouldn't like to exaggerate, so I wouldn't say the original Zero dev tried to fix zcash "weaknesses", but as Rick posted, he tried to tweak the algorithm in order to improve some features. So he modified the equihash algorithm by changing two parameters, and he also removed the 20% dev fee. The change of parameters, generated the following results:

Block Size 4MB | Higher Time Complexity X16 | Higher Memory Requirements X16 | Faster Block Verification X4 | Smaller Solutions 400 Bytes | (instead of 1344)

So far, mining operations for Zero require 25-30% less power consumption than zcash and mining profitability has been quite high for a very long time, even these days it is still quite profitable despite the low exchange price.

The following are only my personal opinions and a more formal joint statement will be posted here after some team meetings take place and we get consensus.

Regarding masternodes: Implementing masternodes is a huge leap that requires very careful consideration since it will alter dramatically the current balance, safety and stability.
It also means that we will need a hard fork and this complicates things considerably.
We also need to maintain zcash compatibility, since we will be getting free updates this way, and the upcoming September update is of extremely high importance, as it plans to increase the transaction speed of shielded addresses, this way making complete privacy available in mobile wallets and thus in every day applications.
There are other priorities that come first, such a new wallet, a Nvidia miner and one or more new exchange listings that we will try to implement first.
The above don't mean that we exclude the possibility of masternodes, I am just saying that it is not our short term priority.
As for Demarsac's "Machwave" roadmap target, I have to be fair and say that despite the fancy name, all that it was about is was to introduce a fork in order to apply experimental changes on Zero, without risking Zero to become a lab rat. For example, if we need to test masternodes and avoid any potential damage that we cannot foresee, one way would be to fork Zero, do an airdrop and apply masternodes on the forked coin , so this way current holders are satisfied and at the same time Zero is safe.

Apparently a coin needs community support to grow, though Dev has left the coin and it still has the trust of the community to continue to exist.
What are the weaknesses of Zcash that ZERO will improve? Do you intend to use masternode for your coin?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZER] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER 2018 on: April 13, 2018, 12:42:36 PM
Hi, thank you for your feedback. Marketing-wise perhaps you are correct, but investors may wonder what happened to this coin during its first year of existence, and if we keep things in the dark, in may be wrong in the long term. What's important now, is that we will strive to do our best.

You wrote that the main developer left the project. I think that for investors this information is superfluous, can hinder the project. I would advise this information to be removed.

I am copying here's what's being happening in telegram, since it's not easy to follow it for people who don't want to spend hours reading through all posts.
The saga goes on:

Demarsac posted:

Well 80% IN this post is a lie.
When we started there was No website, No Windows Desktop Wallet - you know the one you ALL use, No Twitter, No Discord and No official presence, No Telegram, No security update, No Crex24 and a dying bitcointalk. All these were created by us. So since we didn't really do anything as per your post then we really have nothing to pass on right? Also ostracizing previous management and bad talking won't get you really far. Happy Easter Monday Constantin. Smiley Also why don't you really tell to the people about the time you miscalculated your math by an order of magnitude and asked me what i m doing with the community pool fee when this fee does not cover even the monthly server expense? Remember when you implied i am stealing 40$ per month?
No offense but there is nothing to hand over. You can make a new website and pay like i did domains, website creation, desktop wallet, crex24 all these are money paid from my pocket. And i never asked for anything.

So I replied:

I guess that by now hopefully you realized what people think of you and your pathetic megalomaniac posts of yours. People have already answered to most of your false claims, but let me add a few more details to make the truth shine:

1) Discord was suggested by myself. You and lutsifer didn't think that it was a good idea (we have the transcripts of your pms)
2) You also didn't want telegram to happen, so Ingar founded it unofficially. When you realized its success, you jumped in.
3) We did recognize the security update and the crex24 listing, so implying that we didn't is a lie.
4) Bitcointalk was pretty much active, you just started a new thread.
5) A couple of days ago, you said you would step down and that anyone is willing to lead is welcome. Now you 're saying you don't step down and that there is nothing to hand over. Well, I guess that's no surprise.
6) We did offer you to be a co-equal member in the new team, despite your attitude. You disregarded our offer.
7) Regarding my miscalculation: I never claimed to be infallible. Once I realized the error, I declared that I have faith in you, a fact that you conveniently forgot to mention. Here is the transcript in Greek:

Σωστός ο Βράχος! Ένα δεκαδικό μας έκανε άνω κάτω.
Επειδή όλη αυτή η κουβέντα μας παρέσυρε, ας επικεντρωθούμε στα σημαντικά, δεδομένου ότι το θέμα της διαχείρισης των εισφορών θεωρώ ότι πλέον είναι εκ των ουκ άνευ, και δηλώνω καλή πίστη στο DM.

You also skipped mentioning that all I was looking for was transparency in funds administration, since we were planning to donate a significant amount of zer.

8 ) A working Windows wallet was already posted by cryptosights, on November 29th, based on Vaklinov's swing wallet, just as the wallet lutsifer posted shortly after. We would have a Windows wallet even without lutsifer's wallet, which, after all is the same as cryptosight's, as lutsifer himself admitted on that same day. Also, saying that you paid for the Windows wallet, is just ridiculous.

9) Regarding the web site, which is after all simply bad looking, full of grammatical errors and and never gets updated: Guido had already paid for a domain and Ingar had already made a web site. You rejected them, and chose to go with your own, so bragging about your bad choice doesn't make you any wiser.

You know, in the beginning, it looked like your intentions were pure. You were writing things like:

"I do NOT own this project
ZERO COMMUNITY owns this project and it belongs to the community."

I guess you either never meant it or since you took over you realized you liked the chair too much, the same way politicians do in Greece, so when they get elected they forget all promised and become corrupted and arrogant. No doubt relying on a sociophobic and controlling developer such as lutsifer contributed heaps on your dictatorial stance and governance.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: April 09, 2018, 03:23:24 PM
As the Zero community, we would like to firstly thank the current Zero managing team for the effort put into place since the revival of our coin since the November take over.

We have ascertained that besides Zero code update ver 1.0.14 and listing into crex24, nothing else was achieved in order to keep up with the demands of the highly antagonistic crypto-currency market. On the contrary, fails such as not notifying Cryptopia regarding the wallet deprecation, and a poorly designed, never updated and erroneous web site, hurt Zero’s price trend and reputation significantly.

As you may are aware, the most significant targets aimed for within Quarter One (Q1) of this year were not met (a new wallet, a new Windows miner and listing in a large exchange). Upon further investigation into the development of the works, it was found that there was little to no tangible evidence that these Q1 targets would (or could) have been met based on the status of works, and efforts of the team. In addition, Zero’s current management team (manager and developer) failed to responsibly respond to the community’s request for transparency, honesty and duty of care towards the project’s investors.

There is an urgent need for a group of dedicated team members of the Zero community to take over the management of the project and to establish a collaborative team that will strive to drive Zero to the path of success.

This team plans to establish a transparent approach and to truly allow all helping hands to assist. It is evident that in order to protect and steer the project in an effective and meaningful way, that the community needs the full cooperation of the outgoing managing team.

Alas, exhibiting a rather selfish and an authoritarian mannerism, the current managing team has denied handing over any progress on the wallet, any zero code updates and any credentials of the twitter and web site accounts, claiming their “ownership” (and making us wonder if they ever had any respect and feeling of care of duty towards for the community).

We urge them to reconsider, demonstrate realism, and to verify that this project is a community project and not a toy in the hands of two people. It is evident that without sharing the social accounts’ credentials, a project rebranding will be necessary and new social accounts need to be created. Also, without sharing the progress on the wallet, the project will stall and possibly miss a potential bull market.

Egos should step aside, for all stakeholders’ common interest. This is our last call to the current team to work under the new team as co-equal members.

From an immediate point of view, steps have been taken already to realign the current direction of the project towards our concerted vision. A new mining pool has been established today, with a 1% developer's fee now in place to fund and execute new features.

New targets will be shared with the community shortly, along with a new roadmap, and leadership group.

Thank you for your continued support,

R3DEY3 - ConstantinGR  - Ingarium - LMC representing the Zero Community

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: April 09, 2018, 03:16:12 PM
I posted this on telegram, a couple of days ago:

I have been away lately, and the reason is disappointment because of the managing team's course of action and attitude.
It's good that finally people start to have a serious conversation here.
I didn't want to intervene, because I still hold a significant bag, but enough is enough.

So let's debunk some things:

1) Many coins have been added to many exchanges during the bear market season.

2) Demarsac promised very significant updates within a few weeks. That was posted a few weeks ago. He didn't deliver. He also said "I have never missed a deadline". Yup...
Blaming it on the bear market is ridiculous. If a bull market would start right now, he wouldn't have anything tangible yet, so Zero would miss the train.

3) No significant updates were implemented. The site is just bad, this telegram group was founded by Ingar (not the "team"). Version 1.0.14 was the bare minimum for the coin to survive, in order to implement the latest zcash updates. The Windows wallet almost died, and it was saved by Mark Sailor. Cryptopia's wallet was down for sooo long because probably the "team" forgot to notify Cryptopia about the eminent wallet deprecation on time!

4) Enough with the "none works for free" bullshit! Countless people have offered to help so far, and DM and koko (=backendmaster) turned them away. Myself and other Greeks volunteered to offer more than 500zer and to approach Hush's Leto in order to fork his web wallet and use it for zero, and DM insulted me and denied. He even threatened that he would quit! That would be very convenient, I guess, after failing to deliver his promises. Also, if you are the manager of a coin, you will get huge gains from if, so you are EXPECTED to invest on it, especially since you have been mining for a very long time, and you certainly sold a lot of coins at the ATH. As for the main "developer"(lutsifer=backendmaster=Koko=Stefan), he was making 600 zero daily for quite some time, when his pool had 30K hashrate and his fee was 2%. I don't call this "work for free"!

5) You can't expect miners to choose unreliable pools. that either crash or give less rewards. I hate Nova myself but the fact is that it doesn't crash and it pays better. I ran a benchmark for 5 days and verified this. Oh, and you can't blame Nova if you fall asleep and leave your pool being crashed for many hours, and see 2/3 of your miners leaving you (that's what happened to Forge...).

6) DM publicly threatened optiminer that he would fork ccminer (or another miner) and that his latest versions were ...cheating! Blatant crap...

7)"Zero Team"=DM & Koko. All the rest is in the sphere of imagination. These two guys rule the game. They don't want anyone else to share their toy...

8 ) When people invest their money in your altcoin, you need to RESPECT them and answer their questions honestly and without being aggressive. Yes there are always some who are off the line, but most people just want to know if they invested in something that is worth it, and this is absolutely legitimate. You can't just quote memes and say HODL and shit about weak hands. It's like saying what Church used to say "believe and don't ask questions". You have to provide tangible facts, such as github commits, screenshots, alpha builds etc.

9) The Binance banner fiasco... no need to say more here...

10) A long time ago I suggested a compulsory mining fee of 1% on ALL pools. DM rejected it. Now he complains about the lack of funds...

11) And last but not least... January's $12ATH was because of BTC ATH, because of hype by some Twitter influencers such as CryptoElon, even BTC fund manager if I recall, and of course because of zero's low market cap (which, quite conveniently was misreported by cmc) and because of the bull  market. DM taking credit for it is plain arrogant. On the contrary, when he announced the roadmap, Zero dipped and it dipped even more when he announced the (outrageous) team info data. So will zero bounce? It will probably will, thanks to a potential future bull market, and that's what DM is counting on, obviously...

12) DM said that the community pool can't even pay the server costs. Well, how can this be true, since it runs on forgetop server by lutsifer? Well, another lie...

Demarsac replied this:

About Everything:
First of all i want to thank the more than 50 different people which pm's i received since 2 days ago that wish to express their support. This is for them...
It is true that we have not managed to deliver on time the Q1 targets. I take full responsibility for this which is the reason i see myself unfit for continue to lead. But it is not the end of the world as you probably figured out. The project is still here, nothing substantial changed. Zero was here before me and will also be here long after me.
For the people that didn't get what really happened the last few days or maybe feel something is wrong and can't quite get what it is let me elaborate.
Zero Community Leadership was under attack by certain individuals that appeared 3 days ago bitching about Q1 targets. Sure it's not the best to NOT meet targets at certain periods of time but LET'S BE SERIOUS for example ETH targets are usually off by 5-8 months and still ETH is a 30-100 billion project with people that are getting paid from Ethereum foundation to develop. So what was the problem with Zero? The real problem is that in this bearish market period of time in Crypto everyone is depressed and looking for someone to blame. So these few individuals found a fertile ground to create a general disbelief about the project. What are the motives of these individuals i do not know but i do know what the result is. I also know that the real community members should have taken action by filtering out people that want to hurt the project. How do you recognize a real community member from a fake one? Unfortunately it's difficult but it's not impossible. For this i have the solution which i will explain in the end of this message.
I will also not reply to fake programmers that appeared to help and don't know Shit about programming and think "python" is just a type of snake.
I do realize that some people have different views about things and they think the project needs to go on a different direction and can do better. Maybe they can... Let's see them doing it though??? Be my guest... And I WILL help since i have only to lose if Zero doesn't progress.
Facts that for some people ARE NOT CLEAR :
All major currencies that are at least ONE YEAR OLD have sustained - 60,-70,-80,-90% since November pricing. When in 27th November 2017 we took over the project and the pricing was: ETH =470, BTC =9000, Zero=0.2. Today ETH =380, BTC = 6900, Zero=0.5. So since the day we took over if someone had Zero would have more than doubled his money as opposed to ALL OTHER MAJOR CRYPTO!!!!!!!
What happens now:
I already said i m stepping down since i felt that even though the majority of the community supported me they didn't really speak up and noone filtered out the imposters. This was the one thing the community had obligation to do. You all know who i am referring to. These certain individuals that we see every couple of months with different nicknames that come bash and bitch and then disappear and we never see those nicknames again.
People misunderstood the willingness to help and some people don't realize that WE DON'T GET PAID FOR THIS. We do this out of our own love for Zero project.
I still believe in the project and i will help anyway i can. I still have a large portion of Zeros as an investor because lets face it Zero is far better than any other similar coin..
I am creating a new telegram group for True Believers and true community members. This is going to be a lobby YES a lobby of people that have PROVEN FROM HISTORY that they want what is best for Zero and there we will talk about how to help Zero progress. Things will be decided there with voting. The initial group of people will be 10-15 people and I will chose who to invite. After that if someone from this group of people wants to invite extra members-New members THAT PROVENLY STRIVE FOR THE GOOD OF ZERO it will be done only after recommendation - deliberation - decision by majority of this group. I will not have an increased role in that group. I will be just another member that loves Zero and wants it tosucceed.
Meanwhile if someone wants to takeover this project and work for free as i did for 5 months with no compensation PLEASE DO SO. This is not related to the group i will make.
I will help, i promise and the newly created group of True Believers will be as a helping hand of the New Governance.
I will create this group on Tuesday and i wish a Happy Easter to Christian Orthodox people around the globe.
PS. I haven't read all pm's yet since they are so many but i will read them all.
PPS. I would suggest to Admins in this chat room to take initiative and clean up the chat room from people that provenly try to hurt the project in order to take customers for their own crypto. It is very obvious who these people are. People that appeared 3 days ago and only bitch, people that felt that ME ADMITTING WE NEED HELP thought it's a sign of weakness and decided to start bitching to hurt the project.... it's that simple.

My counter-response:

DM avoided answering all my points, by just claiming I said something personal to him. I think that this is an insult to everyone's intelligence here. It's a common trick politicians do, to dismiss legit questions.

He also played the "quitting" card. Wow, well expected! He failed to deliver and after having wasted 4 months because he wanted to do/control everything by himself, not he wants to throw away the hot potato. Well done DM, great sense of responsibility!

As for my "insult", here's the story: Two weeks ago, I was worried that the Q1 goals wouldn't be met. Thanks to HBits  and @R3DEY3, we had the chance to approach Leto (Hush coin dev) and ask him to help us adapt his web wallet in order to use it for Zero. I mentioned this to another telegram Group I have made for Greeks only, and within a couple of hours, people like E P and Petros (and my self) agreed to donate a significant amount of zer to pay Leto. But in order to go on, I asked DM for transparency, to reveal where the community address coins went to, and which is the address that collects the fees from the community pool. DM's answer was that he felt insulted I doubted his integrity, and that he would only make a wallet with the devs of his choice. That was the first time he threatened to quit if we didn't like the way he was doing things, acting like a dictator.

From that point on, I decided to stay quiet and see If he could indeed deliver his promises. We all know that he didn't.

WormholeX Whitepaper release

Mach Wave Project

First Step of Zero Alliance

Thanks in advance.

Both of these projects have not been implemented yet, so there is no white paper yet.

Here is Demarsac's original post from January 30th:

UPDATE

Here is a brief description of some of the concepts presented in Zero currency roadmap:

Zero Alliance

Power comes through unification and if all Crypto with Anonymous capabilities join their strengths under one Alliance, then their strength will be multiplied by many aspects.

This proposed Zero Alliance (aka the Anonymous Alliance) will act as an umbrella of crypto-currencies with Anonymous capabilities.

As for the crypto-currencies that wish to become members of this alliance, an application will have to be submitted, meeting certain specific criteria, such as architecture compatibility, shared attributes and common interests.

A new Exchange is to be created and be managed by this Alliance. This will be an Exchange that truly respects and protects anonymity.
Each member of the Alliance will be represented by each cryptocurrency’s CEO or manager, who will hold some type of “cryptographic key”.
All “cryptographic keys” will form one “MASTER KEY” and only combined together will be able to unlock the Exchange’s sensitive info.
Right now in all exchanges regardless if someone has the ability to do anonymous transactions, the moment he uses ANY exchange he/she is susceptible to the owner of the Exchange giving out important information at will.

Such ease of revealing sensitive transactional data will therefore not be possible within the Zero Alliance Exchange, thus enhancing the intended level of privacy, which is after all the common goal of all privacy coins. Only in extreme circumstances and only if all Alliance representatives agree unanimously, then and only then any sensitive information may be revealed.

Mach Wave

[The following diagrams are for illustration purposes only]

This is a schematic representation of what Mach Wave project aims to do.

The “zone of action” is a protected zone with ideal conditions that also appears in nature when birds fly in Triangle formation in order to achieve reduced aerodynamic resistance. If you are a formula 1 enthusiast, you may know it as Slipstream.

Mach Wave is a highly experimental new crypto that will take all the heat of our experiments. Zero currency is beginning to grow exponentially and at the same time, our responsibility grows proportionally. It cannot serve as a testing ground or a lab rat. Instead, Mach Wave will be at the tip of this research arrow (or triangle formation) thereby creating a safe action zone with ideal conditions for Zero to come along and follow right after.

Once ready, Mach Wave will introduce special technologically advanced features that will create this “safe haven” for further experimentation and innovation. It will serve as a “spear” and a vehicle that will conduct all highly experimental implementations, without risking the integrity and safety of Zero currency itself.

One of these fascinating yet highly experimental technological advancements to be applied first on Mach Wave is the so called WormholeX.

As soon as WormholeX gets adequately tested and verified, it will be implemented on Zero currency right away.

The fundamental principle of WormholeX originates from the famous Einstein-Rosen bridges in the 4D space-time continuum.

Normally, in order to travel a distance between points A and B, the time needed is proportional to the distance and inversely proportional to the average speed. Instead of increasing the speed or reducing the distance if we are to apply the theory of wormholes we could take a shortcut by bending space and time (like bending a piece of paper) and therefore traveling from point A to point B almost instantly.

Now in crypto-space, we suggest to apply a similar technique by manipulating the Nodes in such a way to make almost instant transactions, this way making Blocks’ timings exponentially faster than today and therefore achieving high enough speed allowing Zero currency to be able to be used in every day transactions.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: March 05, 2018, 09:09:42 AM
I totally agree.
Without saying that Cryptopia is excused (on the contrary, they are too slow), people probably don't realize that

a) Cryptopia grew exponentially and since the market turned from a hyper bullish to a hyper bearish very fast, this made it very difficult to invest into buying new equipment, hire and train new personnel, expand their offices etc. In remote countries such as New Zealand, where rents and salaries are quite high, this is even more difficult.

b) Cryptopia has more significant issues to deal with; their bank pulled the plug from their NZDT token, causing many problems.

Any news about new exchanges?

SCAMtopia is terrible.

They have too many new users to handle. Should close sign ups until they got it under control.
But saying their a scam is a bit harsh isnt it?

thank you
what about setting power limit e.t.c on nvidia 1080 ?

You have to edit the local config file (local.conf). Check this out:

http://ethosdistro.com/pool.txt

I only use AMD gpus in the rig that runs Ethos, so I have set it as follows:

maxgputemp 80
globalfan 50
globalmem 2150
globalcore 1150
pwr rigname 3 3 3 3 3
vlt rigname 850 850 850 850 850

You have to look for optimal settings for your Nvidias, I guess it won't be difficult to Google them.
On Windows, I use a 65% power limit for 1070s.

I am trying to deposit fiat but I get the "Unavailable in your region" message.
I am in Australia, and I have also tried via VPN in India, Brazil, Hong Kong and Japan, using TunnelBear.

GUIDE  How to set up ETHOS to mine Zero

Type the following commands blue in the command prompt [what is in brackets, explains the commands]

disallow  [Disallow mining from starting automatically]
minestop [Stop the miner that autostarts by default]
cd /home/ethos [Navigate to that folder]
wget http://download.optiminer.pl/optiminer-equihash-2.1.2.tar.gz [Download Optiminer Equihash, change the link if needed]
tar xvf optiminer-equihash-2.1.2.tar.gz [extract the zip file]
nano custom.sh [edit this file and add this line so that Optiminer autostarts: /home/ethos/optiminer-equihash/mine_zero.sh The save the file with save it with CTRL-X]
cd optiminer-equihash-2.1.2 [navigate to Optiminer's folder
chmod +x mine_zero.sh
nano mine_zero.sh [and setup pool address and wallet, save it with CTRL-X]
./mine.sh [run Optiminer]
r [reboot the rig so that Optiminer autostarts this time]

Note:
Optiminer will not show an output window, the way it does in Windows.
If you want to see the output, you have to add this switch in Optiminer command line, found in mine_zero.sh file:

-l /home/ethos/optiminer-equihash/output.log

Then type this command to see the output:

tail -f optiminer-equihash/output.log

As you can see, you don't need high core clocks on RX cards.
The weird thing is that XFX runs on the lower mem clock compared with the other two cards, but it yields the highest hashrate.
Perhaps it's the timings in the modded bios that work this good. I used the "uber" timings for Samsung memory. When I tried to increase the mem clock, I was getting lower hashes and increased instability.

It's not uncommon to see higher hashes when you start the miner. I get it too.

I run Zotac Mini GTX 1070 with core/mem +150/+700 and Asus Dual GTX 1070 with core/mem +120/+550, all @ 65% TDP, and get 12S/s.

what settings do you use to get 12.2 S/s on XFX?
(I mine zero on Suprnova with 1 armor RX 580 8 Gb at 1366 core / 2175 mem and 1 GTX 1070 @ +120 core +500 mem)

another question: on my RX, the number of S/s starts around 11, then goes down around 10 and I don't know why, any idea ? (the GTX doesn't do that)
thanks

Regarding Cryptopia, I am reporting that

Withdrawals are still not working, just tried one and received the "invalid address" message.
Deposits are not working as well: Despite that transactions are confirmed and shown in the Swing wallet, nothing shows up on Cryptopia.

Team Zero has contacted Cryptopia and all we can do for now is wait.

DO NOT MINE TO YOUR CRYPTOPIA ADDRESS!
CHANGE YOUR MINING ADDRESS TO YOUR WINDOWS/LINUX WALLET ADDRESS!

As for the deposits that are missing, let's wait to see if they show up when Cryptopia restores connections...

1) Disable the integrated GPU!
2) Install the updated wallet!

Get on discord, see the pinned posts, these issues have been explained.
