2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - fork of Zcash with harder mining params on: October 15, 2017, 11:10:59 PM
a well-meaning advice
I can only now recommend to everyone
stuff your pockets full of zeroes as soon as possible
the price you see now
is fortunately
hopefully never happen again

everything up to this price
0.00008800

is an absolute dump price
in front of the announcement
the zero page
zero pool
zero mining software
zero development

everything that happens after that will be well above these prices

and woe
It's complaining to someone I didn't say it.

 Wink

Is there a Windows Wallet? I cant find one.

I REALLY REALLY want to start mining, however, I cant without windows wallet

I was getting 70 SOLS with 6x 1080ti and the net hash is 7K+ SOLS , its really really hard to mine this coin

nice rig !
yes, but you're gonna get a lot of coins with it.

 Grin

I got between 20 -24 coins per day with 2 gtx 1080ti.

is there a mining calculator for Zero to see how much I could mine per day?

I want to mine, but I need to know if it will be profitable for me or not.

Thanks! Wink

https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/

this coin is very profitable,
at 0.2 usd you earn the same as zcash with the same sol/s performance

if zero only goes to 0.4 usd
you deserve twice as much as zcash;)

regards

Ahh thank you friend.

Would you mind sending me a link to the Slack as well?

Also, are you now the developer of Zero, since it seems that the original Dev is gone?

This whole coin is getting really shady.

it started out seeming very interesting, but as we get closer and closer to release, more weird details keep showing up on Discord.

Now the most recent thing is; The discovery of 10% premine, discovered deep within the code.

Then after being confronted about it, the dev starts joking about needing the premine for lambos. And he is willing to go up to 50% premine to get a lambo if needed.

This is all in the discord, if you want to see for yourself.

really sketchy

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Multi-algo][MASTERNODE] Freecoin (FREE) on: October 01, 2017, 05:56:06 AM
Free? how will it be distributed equally?

 Undecided

@Bsteck, please tell how you think it would be equal.

It's a fair question, first though that comes to mind is since its masternode is a coin survival mechanism, how can we ensure one person doesn't end up with too many masternodes?

I am not aware of any coins that cap masternode ownership but that is the real question as they are voting rights which affect everyday investors.

Don't always have answers, but always have ideas Smiley

A way to restrict masternodes would be to make the cost of the masternodes so high that its impossible to buy any more quickly? Then restrict the free masternodes to say only the first 100 people?

I would like to reserve my free node now please  Grin

The ideas keep coming. A free masternode is the name and the game, but i think the coins will be auto burned if the masternode doesn't vote frequently.

My aim of handing the freecoin over to the community is that they are active contributors at least to voting if nothing else.

In America how many people didn't vote? In Australia you don't vote you get fined. Both call themselves democracy.

So where is your Youtube Channel? How do we follow along with progress.

If you do get this created relatively soon, I am 100% on board with it. This sounds great!
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 MAX 2K Faucet 🎲 120%Deposit Bonus 🎲 1%Edge 🎲 Fair 🎲 Chat 🎲 on: September 29, 2017, 12:32:14 AM
I feel like I was just recently scammed for all the BTC that I had deposited into DuckDice.

This is the situation and the message that I sent to DuckDice Support:

"Hello, I recently joined DuckDice (just yesterday), but I have encountered an error or something that stole pretty much all of my BTC.

Now that I see that there is a slot for attachments, I really wish I took a screenshot, but I will just try to explain instead.

I was betting around 10 Satoshis to 10000 Satoshis, and In a single bet the abosulute MAXIMUM that I would lose would potentially be 0.001 BTC, Of course depending on many different factors.

But then suddenly I lost 0.06 BTC on a single bet! Three times in a row!

How did this happen!?

It was on auto bet and the bot was playing by itself. Everything was running perfectly smooth for an hour or so, and then I just left it to run for awhile.

When I returned, no more than 2 hours later, it had completely run out of funds, and the 3 most recent losses were for 0.06 BTC each.

What? How?!

Please please get my Bitcoin back! I feel completely cheated and I just dont understand how this possibly could have happened. There was absolutely no possible way that it should have lost that much from a single bet! Let alone three times in a row!

None of the parameters were set high enough for that to possibly happen. It was not set high enough to allow bets of that size, so I have absolutely no idea why or how it chose to bet 0.06 BTC in a single bet. Three times in a row.

Please get my BTC back! I should receive 0.18 BTC. That is how much I had originally until the auto-bet decided to use it all without my permission.

I did not allow the auto-bet to issue bets of that high amount. I am completely confused and I feel absolutely cheated. There was no possible way that it should have been betting 0.00001000 BTC for over an hour, and then suddenly issue three bets of 0.06 BTC.

Please help! Thank you so much!"

Unfortunately, no replies at all.

I feel horrible. I lost all my BTC that I had deposited within seconds of a rogue auto-bet bot.   Cry

From your post I don't see any reason why you should be granted a refund.

You said you lost 3 times in a row? How is the site cheating you exactly?

Did you martgineale? Where you keep doubling your bet until you win and then reset? If so then thats a very bad strategy and usually leads to complete account losses.

Because I wasnt betting anywhere near that amount.

But yes, I was using the web auto bet, and the settings were just a simple 0.0001 BTC at a 65% chance.

Win multiplier 1. Loss multiplier 1.

There was no possible way that it should have suddenly - by itself - switched to 0.06 BTC bets, when it was running stably for over an hour at 0.0001 BTC bets.

I did not change the settings. I did not authorize bets of that size, etc.

The bot somehow did it by itself.

And now it has been pointed out to me that the bet losses arent even showing up in the High Roller tab, so where did the BTC go?  I dont have it, and apparently DuckDice doesn't have it

Were you by any chance using the computer while it was autobetting?

I am wondering if you maybe accidently hit a "Hotkey" and you multipled your bet, you can do this by hitting the key "S".

These hotkeys should be disabled by default however.

Another thing to check is, check if someone made a withdraw of the 0.06BTC? Maybe your computer got hacked and someone login into your account and withdrew your entire account balance, since its not showing up on the high roller tab.

No there were no hotkeys activated, and there was no withdrawal

I am honestly so baffled how this happened. maybe it was some super elaborate hack or something.

Thanks for the suggestions and the help. Unfortunately, I am most likely not going to get a refund since it seems that DuckDice is not at fault.

IDK. It just seems unexplained to me.

I guess the only way that I could end up recovering my BTC is if DuckDice decided to compensate me out of kindness, but I sorta doubt that, haha

Thanks for the help

Weird story. Haven't seen 3 0.06 losses in HR tab. And you let it run 20 more minutes after those bets.  Huh

I have informed admins and they are busy with it now.

Well, by the time I returned to the computer, those bets were already long done.

If I had been at the computer immediately when the bets happened, I would have stopped it right away

Thank you for informing the admins. I really hope I can get that returned to me

Your first post was this.

Story changes everytime.

What is it?? If you came back hours later, how you know of those bets ??

The story is not changing. When I came back to the PC, I saw the losses for 0.06 BTC each. Thats it. Nothing is changing.

I dont know how else to explain it. If you need any more specific info, dont hesitate to ask. Ill try to explain as clearly as I can

EDIT: I guess I shouldnt have said that the three "most recent" losses were for 0.06 BTC.  They were not the "most" recent. That is my mistake.

They were on the "Most Recent" bets page. The "My Bets" tab, towards the bottom is where I saw them.

Was that using the web's auto bet?

What were your settings exactly?

The bets ids?

Thats part of the problem. I cant look back far enough in my history to see the 3 bets where it lost 0.06 BTC.

But yes, I was using the web auto bet, and the settings were just a simple 0.0001 BTC at a 65% chance.

Win multiplier 1. Loss multiplier 1.

I cant see it in my history because it did those 3 bets, and then about 20 more "normal" bets before it ran out of funds.

I didnt stop it in time to be able to take a pic of the 3 rogue bets, which is why im scared, because I doubt anyone is going to believe me

I only came back and saw the 3 losses just seconds before they disappeared from the most recent history

I would offer $7000 for all 3 rigs, and that is still overpriced!  Where on earth are you getting your sales price from?

There are 4 rigs. With 3 GPU's each. Total of 12 GPUs. And four 120GB ssd, and 4 Headless HDMI etc.

The sale price is the same price as the original on Ebay, but mine also come with all the extras

They are all in perfect condition. I purchased and mined on them for about a month, but now a bunch of financial problems have unfortunately popped up and I really need the money.

Each one currently has Windows 10 installed on the SSD, but they also come with the USB and Linux that CoinDriller specified
