81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 18, 2020, 05:47:35 PM
Not really the diehard fan of cricket like some of you may be, but just to be part of this fun and to have a good time so decided to join this league with you all. IPL matches might not be that close but possibly here all participants points would be very close to each other and this will be a good contest.

Game begins tomorrow and wishing all of you good luck as well.

Have messaged Royse777 about the details.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 18, 2020, 02:42:41 PM
Gambling is part of our society, there are many people who are gambling, they ave also different reasons why they do that, there are some who play just to become entertained especially when they are with their friends, thee are some gamblers who play because of money, they sometimes considered it as their source of income. Well, gambling isn't bad at all, it depends on a person who gambles, if you will let yourself controlled by gambling then it could be so bad for you but if you are still in control and you sill know what are the things you should prioritize first before playing then I think you are still fine.

You should also know how to limit yourself while playing, you should know when to stop and continue to play.

In history we see that many cultures have been using gambling for hundreds of years. I would go so far to say it's in our nature to be attracted to gambling. It gives a lot of excitement and rush to win big, and with the risk of losing everything makes winnings just much more sweet. So yes there is a risk of becoming addicted, but there is also risks involved in many things that are fun. We just can't ban everything. It's on all of us to watch our habitat, including our friends and family.

Banning everything is not the solution, I agree to that point because as such there would so many other things for somebody that can be risky but for others it is not so ideally every individual have to take care of themself in order to either stay away from it or should take responsibility and be in their limits because once you loses the control then its hampers a lot of other things.

Lucky those who got it and tough luck OP as only some time it is worth to be part of such coin and if missing that it certainly hurts more badly. But you have to move and consider it as a learning going forward that sometimes it could be little costly but better to be safe than take such unnecessary risk where in the end you dint received it.

86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: September 18, 2020, 06:16:47 AM
I can’t believe that there are players that would really go this far, if I were to put myself in their shoes, I can’t imagine if how will I take it if I lose these huge amounts. I would probably be devastated and won’t gamble for a time.

At times even if you lose like 100$ it is so much stuck at times in head so just imagine what would have happened for those who like lost millions of dollars. Though it is their own fault as they never knew when to stop and knowing that in gambling losing is very easy than winning it. So playing just for entertainment helps at this times because after certain time you will be able to stop when you lose a considerable amount.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: September 18, 2020, 05:32:11 AM
How will you succeed in life, if you don't take a risk. This life is all about taking risk. It's better to try on something new (crypto) than not trying.
The only risk in crypto is not keeping your private keys safe and also investing with your life saving money, expecting a quick returns immediately. Apart from that, I see nothing risky about crypto.

With utmost safety taken and if invested in top coins only say rather than other coins you will still be able to make money from crypto provided you can hold coins if the fall comes in between and wait till it rises further. At times in short time also price rises quickly so one can take advantage of that as well and make some money. Though risk will exist in whatever you do but if as per you capacity if risk is taken should be fine.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: September 17, 2020, 03:17:26 PM
Never.. Lending is risky and if you cant take that risk, you shouldnt do lending at all

Personally, I am not the big fan of lending and avoid it unless if my close friends require it for some purpose then only, I give them because those are trusted guys. But yes, here on forum if someone is highly trusted and has good standing on the forum then one can think to lend it else better to stay invested in coins.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: September 17, 2020, 12:53:43 PM
This are the moments which always becomes the memories as it was so close and yet it ended being too far. Also, I have learned that if you placing the bets do it on the team you love rather than that of odds else it will ruin your time because your team who like may be doing well but if placed bets on other team you want them to win just because bets are placed on it and in such situation you do not enjoy either team winning.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aviatrade accepting BTC as payment for $40 million Gulfstream private jet on: September 17, 2020, 10:02:04 AM
I'm not sure that many people can afford such expenses. Rather, this is a publicity stunt, and it is unlikely that anyone will take advantage of this opportunity.

Highly seems to be marketing gimmick and do not anticipate that finally if the deal happens it would happen via bitcoin payment. But if the news yields any positive assurances among the people in the world than it is better as bitcoin will continue to remain in the main steam for longer period of time and this may have some impact as well in people with regards to buying bitcoin.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: India will Implement Law For Prohibition of Crypto Trading on: September 17, 2020, 07:13:25 AM
This will not be the good news for all the crypto lovers in India because there are quite a lot who are in favour and might have being working relentlessly to get it approved and work with the government. This would be a major blow as all the user in the country will now be away from the crypto and some demand may fall if that happens.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who sets the bitcoin price? on: September 16, 2020, 10:14:20 AM
To my understanding, the bitcoin price is set by the whales. Many time we see were market will be moving in a particular direction only for it to be push in an opposite direction because of interest of whales.

Not always whales can set the price, but yes when the whales buy in bulk or sell in bulk it does affect the price and accordingly it moves but also there are millions of other investors or traders who also buy/sell and when all of them start to sell or buy it will also play a major role. So, it’s going to be the demand and supply that decides on which side the major quantity exists either it is for buy or for sell and accordingly the price is in market.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: impact of added new token in defi market? on: September 16, 2020, 09:05:20 AM
For me it will not affect the market too much if the projects listed on the exchange are good projects and also carry a long future, but it is quite sad if the projects just take advantage of the hype defi and they are able to enter the exchange at no cost. Even though their project is nothing special. Many old projects that have been developing suddenly lose out to new projects that use the name defi to become famous.

This is flowing with the wind sort of thing, where since currently its Defi hype so many projects are coming related to it. Till the time it is growing and those who can make money with those coins good and once we see the fall it will be massive, and people would lose a lot if they continue to hold the bad coins. So, choose the coins wisely I can say for now.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: September 16, 2020, 06:57:12 AM
Whether it goes up or down, I never sell the tokens I have bought. Of course, with several considerations before deciding to buy. I'm no.3, a hodler. I'm sure my portfolio will increase later.

Holder is the one that I also belong to that category because when you do some research and knows that true potential of that coin is going to be much better in coming time than only holding and buying on the dips is the answer to it. So, I believe in what I buy and accordingly I hold it and have my startegy in place.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 Impact on the Indian Economy on: September 15, 2020, 02:53:32 PM
After the economic crisis the worst thing that will happen is the banking crisis, money is an important thing that becomes the wheel of the economy, but when traditional bank loans are hard to get, it's difficult to get a job, want to go into debt also has many conditions. as a result the increasing price of gold has helped the popularity of gold loans. The price of gold has gone up by 28% this year to 50,000 rupees per 10 grams.

Gold loans are very popular in my country (India). But the terms are very exploitative and in most of the cases the individual has to forfeit the gold as he is unable to make the steep interest payments. I always advice my friends to sell, rather than pawn their gold. Because if they pawn their gold, then they will end up with a fraction of the gold price. And they will forfeit the gold jewelry in the end, due to the inability to pay the monthly interest.

It’s more of a greed that is shown to people that one can get money on collateral of a loan. Mostly small people fall for it and the interest being so high cumulative they end up losing lot of money for it to get it back. I assume people in various countries who had such scheme during covid would have took loan on lending the gold due to various difficulties faced by them.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: September 15, 2020, 08:42:36 AM
As a newbie in crypto, I will also feel that "what is this?" "How do people earn from this?" because bitcoin it is not introduced by just whoever that you come along the road or your teacher or your parents. It is something that you should really give time to study or understand with. In fact when I was starting my journey in this crypto world this just blew my mind on how this thing work and grew without noting by many.
This is something that you need to dig in, but it is not hard to understand, dig in because for you to lighten up your so much questions, because there will be more questions after a question.

Initially when it is new you will need to get knowledge and understand it. Just like when you get new job, we need to understand the working and the process of that organization and new software’s etc in same way we need to understand the bitcoin and its functioning. What are the different ways on this form or through crypto how we can make money and grow rich?
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Rebounds as Bitcoin Holds Steady on: September 15, 2020, 05:17:34 AM
What a stressful week, bitcoin is down and altcoins are in a big panic. Ethereum which was going towards $500 failed and fell back below $400. When bitcoin becomes calm and stable, it is a moment for altcoins to recover but only a little and just waiting for bitcoin to rise or continue to fall

With bitcoin bouncing back and moving above 10750$ today it is a good sign that bounce back seems to be on the cards. Thus, with the rise of btc prices, ETH has started to also move upwards and seeing them at 375$ approx which has risen by 3% in last 24 hours. So if btc can cross 11k then we may also see ETH inching close to 400$ mark back again.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New normal world will make crypto better on: September 15, 2020, 04:29:03 AM
I would definitely agree that this new normal makes cryptocurrencies better knowing that many countries are shifting from using fiat to using digital money as the mode of transaction and mode of payment. And I think very soon the use of cryptocurrencies will be more popular worldwide.

Things are bound to change as post Covid functioning of many things will be changed and physically currencies if can be avoided will be done. So here the role of crypto plays vital and some countries may investigate making them legal tender in their country and may encourage to go digital payment. This will also be helpful for tourists, money transfer anywhere in country or outside country etc.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aviatrade accepting BTC as payment for $40 million Gulfstream private jet on: September 14, 2020, 12:20:10 PM
Just by enabling the btc as a payment mode they have created the buzz in the market for themself about the jet and for the bitcoin. This is going to be the big news in that country and also we can see it will be much talked event since here millions of $we are talking about the transaction to happen once this deal gets finalised and hopefully if the buyer can use btc much better.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Make Money Without Trading or Gambling on: September 14, 2020, 12:14:45 PM
Yes trading is a way to get quick profit if youre already a master. But there are still campaigns where you can get more than 2000$ after the bounty ends, like DIA bounty how lucky the participants on that campaign.
unfortunately, I think the master is not enough. Because some people already experts in trading but he can't earn a lot of profit because don't have much funds. Trading is about your funds, the more funds you have the more profit you will get. I know DIA is most successful bounty but I don't know people earn $2000 from it, how lucky

Those who are good in trading can make good money with less capital as well. Since now we have margin available in the Binance exchange which can be used for trading those coins and can easily get 5x or more of a margin. Only thing is that we need to be expert in trading in order to make money from it else very easily can even lose the money.
