1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpay sells stolen Amazon gift cards? on: February 25, 2021, 08:16:39 AM
I have seen a lot of complaints with gift cards and heavy discount means that something is not very clear and this is why it's always better avoid to buy these items with heavy discounts.

Well, actually Bitpay is not selling Amazon gift cards cheap, the situation is quite the opposite.

Thank you all for taking an interest in the topic. I noticed a small legal dispute but will address it a bit later. Friends, it's 2021, for as long as you not using illegal money, you are well protected as a buyer by the Law. I'm actually a legal counselor myself but would like to hear more from Bitpay support on how they see the situation before commenting ongoing dispute here.

Also, I have noticed few repeated wrong statements from users on this topic and decided to update my post giving correct answers:

About Bitpay

5. Is Bitpay selling Amazon Gift cards cheap? No, as it's usually the case with gift cards from official merchants, u pay around 105$ per 100$ Amazon gift card on Bitpay. It was yet another reason I believed those were 100% genuine legal gift cards.

6. Is Bitpay an authorized Amazon gift card seller? Well, at least their advertisement on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc claims so.

7. Who sells Amazon gif cards via Bitpay? Contrary to the popular belief, Bitpay (as can be proved in legal information they provide in a small text we sign) is not using any third-party sellers when it comes to Amazon Gift cards. Bitpay is a direct seller of Amazon gift cards.

bullrun2020bro, My account is around 10 years old, I mostly paid via debit card in the past, made a lot of purchases throughout the years. Thus, at least a few debit cards (debit cards on my name, cards that work for years, nothing fishy, no 1-day cards used) are added to my Amazon account.

Haven't used VPN, however, I'm not from the USA, I'm from Europe.
Nevertheless, I have a real address, real name et cetera written in my account on Amazon.

Post updated on February 25, information added.

Hello,

Since I haven't found much information regarding this issue with Bitpay, let me share it here so that other users may find it. I will also update this topic with any news regarding the issue and in case Bitpay support team will be able to help me.

Some time ago I googled that Bitpay is the only trustworthy service to directly buy Amazon gift cards. Add to that how far they progressed over the years and added a lot of new features such as the possibility to pay for Microsoft products directly, the verification process, and well - I got convinced it's a 100% reliable company.

I successfully bought 4 Amazon gift cards from Bitpay throughout January 1-3 and claimed them on Amazon.
However, few days ago, when trying to buy photo camera on Amazon using those gift cards the order was immediately canceled by Amazon and MY ACCOUNT ON AMAZON GOT BANNED.

This is a message I got from Amazon:
Quote
We have canceled your order and voided your current gift card balance.
We have taken these actions because you are attempting to use Amazon Gift Cards that are in violation of our Terms and Conditions. We cannot reissue the gift cards or reimburse you for these funds.

To answer questions you may have:

1. Have I bought gift cards from somewhere else?: Yes, I bought it few times in Amazon store to claim free $, aside from that - only Bitpay.

1. State of my Amazon account: I never used my Amazon account for illegal activities, it has my real correct credentials, billing information et cetera. I used it for as long as I remember and had no problems in the past at all when I paid with my debit cards in Amazon store.
Last purchase was made on Black Friday 2021 where I bought few items overall worth 180$, I never and would never have used this account for money laundering or anything like that.

2. State of my Bitpay wallet account: It's verified, was verified before I bought 4 Amazon gift cards. I have never been a fan of illegal activities, thus it wasn't a problem to complete the verification process required by Bitpay and to send them my documents.

3. Source of Bitcoin used to pay for those gift cards: is completely legal, no shade activities or even mining was involved. I can prove where they came from by a legal company since funds were the result of a longstanding claim and all papers are in order.

4. My credentials on Amazon and Bitpay: are the same, no shade games are involved here.

What next:

I already contacted Amazon support team, however, my account remains banned. Right now I'm still waiting for help from Bitpay, but unless the issue is resolved and at least spent Bitcoin cash is returned back - I will have this topic opened to warn other people of such grave danger.

If anyone by any chance ever faced this issue - please let me know. In case it will not get resolved by Bitpay support team - claim will be sent to appropriate authorities in the USA, thus I can help you to resolve the same problem too.

5  Economy / Services / Re: method how to withdraw your funds from Crypto-Bridge without KYC on: December 27, 2019, 09:33:19 AM
If your coins locked on crypto-bridge, I still can help you. Yes, you man, reading this. PM me and save your coins, do not gift it to Cryptobridge admins!

CryptoBuzzerd will just waste your time. For your money he shows you a Video how to withdraw funds from CryptoBridge without KYC and that's all. As a proof that method works after 15.12.19 he found working Bridge_RVN pair that I myself told him first.
Thing is, you still can exchange Bridge_RVN coins, but Bridge_BTC and other coins are locked and can't be traded.
Ignore and report this guy, in case moderators have questions - I have saved Telegram chat.

Yeah I use suprnova for SIGT pool too but I get way less than what is predicted on whattomine
Use https://pool.mn, it has simple rewarding system. Mine for 24 hours straight and share your results.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 17, 2017, 04:13:25 PM
Isn't it obvious that something was not the same?
Sparrow?

What results are u asking for? I`ve given total info - he received around 110 coins more per day.

Btw, pool (Pool.ml) had Proportional reward system which made tests results even more surprising. I still can`t figure out the reason of this.
We tried tests with skein and results were the same for us both.

Those mining SIGT, do you actually make the amount whattomine estimates? I'm running 4 1080 ti cards and only made ~100 coins in 12 hours when I'm estimated at 150. Mining at a steady 190mh/s and using suprnova pool

I and another user from this forum recently had a nice chance to test our rigs: 1080 ti x5

Same pool, same hashrate and 0% rejection for both rigs. Tests took 3 full days.

On average he made around 110 coins more per day than I did.

I am mining nist5 at hashrefinery with 2x gtx 1080ti, hashrate=185MH/s and getting 0.0024 BTC/Day. Is this good enough? or there is something better.
Are you sure about those numbers? I guess it`s what sniffdogs says u`ll get, not the actual income.

sypher9, I noticed the restart issue, though still had no time to check it all.

Maybe you had the same problem?:

I`m using sniffdog for last couple of days mining skein and from time to time notice strange decrease in hashrate. This image perfectly illustrates the problem, it has started 4 hours ago and still persists. All this time my sniffdog miner shows straight 4.7Gh/s at 5x 1080 ti, while website only sees 1.3Gh/s.

Can anyone confirm having this too? I only found posts regarding high reject value, but nothing regarding my case.

Please check the graph on my screenshot again. it shows hashrate per hour, not per second, so it should normaly be around 4.5-5.0 Gh/s for 5x1080 ti per hour.

+ as you can see I have 2 more rigs and their hashrate is constant.

Any Recommendations for Intensity on Skein algo on Hashrefinery, using CCminer Alexis and default intensity is 27.. Would any different number improve it?
Heres my stats; sometimes I get 5-7% rejections, changed difficulty from 0.8 to 4 based on recommendation of hashrefinery owner and rejections went down from 25% to around 5-7%
http://pool.hashrefinery.com/?address=1LoZQEpppUi66JMyhi92xzV3Kvk9C9GizL

Where do you live? In case you live in Europe hashrefinery is based in the USA. I think issue is somehow related to high pings.

Is there a way to specify the power limit within the bat file. Thanks for the help

Depends on what miner you are using. Check settings for your miner but I myself prefer to use Afterburner.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Suprnova.cc scam?! on: August 24, 2017, 10:50:59 AM
I was testing it all for 10 days myself and finally can confirm what is said by the creator of this topic. And I also received no reply at all from Suprnova in a week.

You don`t need to trust us, just test it yourself using 2 rigs or separate your gpus with apps on suprnova and any other pool and test it for 3-5 days.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 16, 2017, 07:50:46 PM
Signatum again profitable, mining at 50MH/s , 4.45$/day

Signatum is in the begining of its way. Use my GTX1080Ti to mine SIGT (cold algo with less power consumption compare with other). Will wait about 1$ per SIGT in few month

Doubt it, internet is screaming scandals, every day something new is happening regarding Sig leaders.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 14, 2017, 12:18:19 PM
14 cm between cards. TDP 90%

Now I`m totally lost. Can you please tell me exact model of your 1080 ti? Link would be even better.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 14, 2017, 11:04:26 AM
that is such a load of horseshit. 90% of my gpus are below 60 C
Are we still talking about 1080 ti? Brief search at google.com will show that even with water cooling this gpu has 45-55 C. Countless reviews of 1080 ti also say that one gpu with Air cooling operates at 80-84 C. When it comes to farm, situation is even worse, because we hold all those gpus in close proximity to one another.
