If they decide to build that ball park, only 5,000 capacity if I remember right, that card will shoot up in value. So it could prove to be worth it, possibly..... Cry

The park is fake... so is the football (soccer) team that is associated with it.

Wow, great find on this news but, maybe some attention will be ok, I hope Smiley

Looks like it has to be the scream Roll Eyes
1246  Other / Archival / Re: . on: January 31, 2019, 02:57:05 AM
When "Scream"?  Grin

Yea, the two scream themed paintings, Planet Bitcoin and Return from planet Neo, those were really special pieces of art that captured the mood of the scream.  A lot of artists have tried to copy the scream but, they never get the colors or the expression quite right.  I'm pretty sure the owners will be hanging on to them. I only see one rare card on ebay for 749.00 a ginter x black mini ungraded which might not be too bad of a buy.  I have purchased from the seller before without any issues.  I would first check with the fellow members here first to see if anyone has one they want to sell.

Best of luck with your treasure hunt. Smiley

Dolfriends, make a line up list for us would you? Could look back and see who got it right....anyone's call right now...I bet we come close  Smiley
Here's mine again.  Grin

 Lowest first:

Full size base
Base mini
A & G mini
Black border
Silver glossy
Full size all black x
Gold border
Black x mini
Nno
Brooklyn back
Glow in the dark
Red x mini

Does this sound about right?
Also, what would be the line up for the History-6?

18
204
222
259 strictly on eye appeal
84 historical significance
83 historical significance

As far as the 6 inserts go I would place in this order

18
84
259
204
222
83

As far as your other list, not counting 1/1's here is my list

Regular size base
Silver glossy
black and gold border (tied)
base mini  A&G back
base mini ( My opinion there are less of these than the A&G back)
ginter x base
NNO
ginter x mini
glow in the dark
brooklyn back
ginter x red mini

Okay, fair enough  Smiley....here's a black border that ended about 20 minutes ago, ungraded. $46. The last ungraded Gold went for $71 and $4 shipping on Jan 10th...I know because I bought it.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2018-Topps-Allen-and-Ginter-Mini-Black-Border-83-Cryptocurrency/113580960761

*Does anyone know what the odds of getting a gold border is? One in ten for the black, I think.... I just think the gold border is of greater value and I was trying to make a point...definitely not trying to upset anyone or be confrontational. Just make my point, and give opinion is all. Very interested in seeing where Becketts would stage these cards in order of value.

I would give the black border and the gold border even odds so it comes down to personal taste.  I still rank the blank back as the most valuable card of all and the printing plates just behind it.   The mini wood above the mini silver if they are ever found and the question comes up as to which one is more valuable.  I put the red mini's above the 1/1 glossys mainly for eye appeal.   Cool

Thank you all for your opinions and insight.  While it would be great to open packs and find real money inside, that just isn't going to happen.  I will be super excited just to see another crypto card insert someday.  Most everyone that got in early on the A&G cards that were in it just to flip the cards did quite well since they were introduced a short 6 months ago.  Hope everyone held onto some of their best ones..  Closing the thread now.

I learned my lesson with sports cards when I was a kid.  Fool me once...

More 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle cards ended up on kids bicycle spokes than in collections.  The card was even double printed.

I really appreciate original oil on canvas old school paintings, not much into the digital art world.  Recently I saw an original oil that Rickey Allman did and loved it

Hey fellow treasure card hunters

What sport would be your pick for future crypto cards to be inserted in to, hockey, football, tennis, baseball again, basketball etc.  I think I would like to see hockey, what say the rest of you,  Cool
