Pretty rare to see one pop up not being in a set.  They know the egg will move the complete set .  Now if you are trying to get that rare psa 10 probably better to wait until one comes up already graded although be prepared for the sticker shock lol.  I had a 10 but, it went to a friend.  Most likely they will come in around psa 9.  If you look very close at the 1/5 red mini look at both of the top corners and see if you think the top left is sharper than the right.

Dolphriends you have a count of cards in the wild crypto and egg. Those with less than 25.

For the crypto X there is still the 1/5, 2/5 and 3/5 red mini and the silver mini.  There is also the regular 1/1 glossy and the wood stock

For the egg x  there is the 4/5 and 5/5 red mini and the silver mini.  Everything in the regular A&G except for the 4/25 and 5/25 brooklyn and the majenta printing plate is still out there in the wild.

Remember this is the collecting phase which is the most fun and challenging.  I enjoy opening cases while the costs are pretty reasonable but, never have much luck.

Well, it looks like the black mini is going to be tough to get the PSA 10 this year.  Three graded and scores were 8,9,10.  Will know better after 10 or 15 are graded .  Was thinking about last year and probably of the special inserts besides the crypto the rarest was the #222 solar eclipse silver mini and even the red mini.  Those are the treasures and I only saw them for a brief moment when I put them in the display box. lol.  Perhaps I will make a crypto egg box if I find the silver crypto card

Happy hunting all, have fun with all of it Cool Cool Cool

Wanted to share a few treasures with those who have an appreciation of how difficult and rare it is to get a grade of PSA 10 gem mint for the black and red mini's.  If just a tiny speck of white shows the grade gets knocked down.  They seem really busy now so I would be hesitant to send anything for grading of fear of it getting lost. It will run 500.00 per card if you want 1 day service.

Nice cards.  you must have a PSA insider to get them graded so quickly.

I hear that cards are doing better than most investments.  you may be able to retire with just those two if these go viral.

Do a walk-through if you live close 500.00 each grading and that is how to get it done in one day  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  I am trying to collect the 5 colors of these eggs.  Yellow, red, black, silver and gold.   Lots of really cool images if you google bitcoin eggs , or crypto eggs.

The hottest investment right now is in cards, certain ones of course.

Personally the titan COA is my favorite because I could always clearly see the letters and never have to guess if it was upper case or lower case.

Since cards of the 2019 A&G 1/5, 2/5 and 3/5 of the red mini #213 have been found that leaves just two mini reds and one silver to be found so in my opinion the value of the boxes should remain around the 150.00 range since the #213 is the main card in my opinion.

There are plenty of rare #213's in the regular 2019 ginter boxes so I think those might be the best boxes to search.  Except for two brooklyn backs, one printing plate, and a couple of no#'s everything is still out there.  Happy treasure hunting fellow friends

If anyone finds any rare, crypto red mini, egg red mini, or silver mini's these are my two favorite non sports cards and I am definitely a buyer for them. Happy treasure hunting to all Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Funny you should mention this today. Look what I pulled, literally tonight. Not quite sure what to do about it yet. Shocked

A very nice pull, enjoy your card, you might want to put it in an ultra pro magnetic holder to keep it protected.  Smiley Smiley

I was thinking about printing plates tonight and the obstacles that stand in the way of collecting all four.  I only saw one printing plate of all the insert cards that I liked from the 2018 allen and ginter besides the 4 from the crypto #83.  The odds must have been over 10 million to one that all 4 plates would even show up.

Ten million may be a little dramatic. LOL The odds would easily and significantly increase by simply posting a WTB on the baseball card forums. Wink

Regards,
Chris

Smiley Smiley Well, I've never seen it and been at it a long time. lol  I know that it has been done on some mid range cards a few times but, never on a highly sought after card like the crypto #83.   I've been trying to find a pack of cards called crypto community cards for well over a year with no luck.  I have moved on to an egg hunt and by easter I hope my basket has some real goodies.   Have fun out there Smiley Smiley

The Bitcoin train on it's way to the top of Mt.Satoshi Cool

Actually that is a great title for it and you know it will be super cool since the master painter Ricky Allman is the artist Cool

Believe me I am not surprised and would be super excited if it sells  Smiley Smiley Smiley.  However, the idea of putting a rainbow( all four printing plates) together has just gone bye-bye

Good morning friends Cool  The initial drawing before it makes its way to the canvas.  I think bitcoin is on the same track as the little engine that could.  I know the artist is going to have fun with this one Cool Cool

Looks like the egg has left the building Cry Cry

No. the signal got scrambled.  We needed a btc connection i suppose.

Probably right Smiley Looks like the egg carton is pretty empty out there, it certainly is an eggciting hobby along with the crypto #83 card.  I think you can get the black mini if you buy the whole set now.   Have fun folks Cool Cool

Calling out to all treasure hunters, to make the egg card even more fun and unique  the shades of the eggs are colored differently.  The black ginter x regular size is a peach color tint, the black ginter x mini is a yellow tint and the regular common mini is a neutral flesh tint.  Maybe the silver mini will really be a surprise color.   Cool Cool

If anyone snags any rare eggs and wants to sell pm me for sure.  Thanks all Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  It looks like the mini gold border is in extremely short supply when there is usually plenty of those out there.  I think it is because the hot box this year is the gold border unlike last year it was the silver cards.  So if you see a mini gold border give it some thought as it might be a tough one to find.

Agree.  If 2018 represents a typical year, the gold borders will dry up first as they are only available in the value packs.  Since the value packs represent a bargain (low price, lots of cards), they sell out towards the first quarter of the following year.  Once they run out, no one can be sure that the gold card they purchased is an original pull or a recycled, previously-graded, card.

I'm sure many will buy the full-sized, gold border thinking they bought the rare, mini.  A search on sold "mini gold border egg" shows just two. Very odd to have so few a few months after the card was released.

Looks like the only ginter x black mini egg is now sold.  I also noticed the black lotus card has now sold for over 100k, wow!!.  The highest price two months ago was 65K and it was a higher grade.  Whether it's magic, crypto, egg these cards are a lot of fun and worth collecting if you enjoy the hobby.  Good luck to all my friends in treasure hunting land, have fun.
