261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW/PoS180%]AltCommunityCoin New mandatory update!. on: October 25, 2017, 02:05:03 PM
I updated wallet to 1.1.0 today, and my balance is lost. In transaction history there are exclamation marks next to deposits, with Conflicted shown in tooltip.

Here is the screenshot:

Any ideas?

Your last transaction is from August? I think you missed the swap to the new blockchain somewhere in the first week of September which was announced in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2105778.msg21047120#msg21047120. Maybe you can ask the devs to migrate your balance to the new blockchain.

I would like to join the Airdrop please?  Grin

Please, just read through the last pages of this thread. It has been mentioned multiple times that the registration for this last airdrop is later today. The countdown is here: https://goo.gl/kM6qCn

Are we going to party when this thread reaches 2000 pages? Maybe worth mentioning on social media when this happens. There are very few coins that ever reach so many views/reactions
eng ann + rus ann + all other ann threads = more then 2000 pages already Cool

Unfortunately the dutch thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2043785.0) is kind of dead. The OP hasn't been updated since the creator of the thread was forced to sell his onions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2006010.msg22394650#msg22394650.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW/PoS180%]AltCommunityCoin New mandatory update!. on: October 23, 2017, 08:56:03 AM
I have participated the last airdrop, but there is still no coins in my wallet. There is no doubt that I have been included since right after OP post the link, I have finished my application lest than 10secs. Can you please update the spreadsheet. Thanks!

What do you mean by application?

We publish a Google Analysis application that people use to fill in their details.
It might be that application he is thinking of.

I think he really meant that he filled in the form to applicate (participate) for the airdrop.

I tried the --nocpu parameter, but it does not exist:

[2017-10-21 19:02:15] : Parameter unknown '--nocpu'
Press any key to exit.

Back to sgminer again  Grin

UPDATE: Wow, the correct parameter is '--noCPU' (https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/blob/dev/doc/usage.md#command-line-options), case-sensitive... on Windows! What do you know.
I've updated the instructions for XMR-STAK, I haven't tried it without CPU yet Cheesy The hashrate is little bit lower then with XMR-STAK-AMD, but it's only pre-release. I will update Windows binary every week if there will be changes.

Ok, I have switched back to sgminer from xmr-stak-2.0. Sgminer gives me slightly more hashes (2602h/sec vs 2590h/sec average) and my rig uses a bit less power with sgminer (345 vs 350 Watt). Also it has 0% dev fee vs 1% for xmr-stak.

Ok, so I tried it, but had some struggles. First it didn't start properly, because there was a part missing in the generated amd.txt about "gpu_thread_num". Luckely I had my old config file so I could add this part to the amd.txt config. But then I noticed that this new miner also uses my CPU and I couldn't find where to turn this off. It also complains about "Memory alloc failed: virtualAlloc failed" errors all the time. I have LARGE PAGE SUPPORT configured properly. Overall my hashrate went down from 2600 h/sec to 1800 h/sec so I am back to sgminer.
Yeah, I will add these instructions. Just make bat file with --nocpu, I wrote about the problem with gpus thread just put the line from instructions here to the AMD.txt and change number of cards or thread if you use 2 threads.

Did you build this yourself? I switched recently from xmr-stak-amd to sgminer, because xmr-stak-amd was just 'freezing' after a while. It's just like people are mentioning in https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-amd/issues/110. Sgminer doesn't seem to crash, at least not since i started it. I really liked xmr-stak-amd because of the webinterface and the statistics. However, i see that issue 110 is still open, so i am not sure if i should try xmr-stak again. It is really annnoying to see that my rig is eating electricity, but no hashes are generated.

Yes I've built it, it has some bugs, this bug occured also in seperate versions sometimes. You may try it now, we fixed some build problems, download again.

please feedback about new planned page if you have any suggestion please make it now

It looks really nice, very impressive. One thing I noticed, some parts/blocks like the contact form and the airdrop instructions are not outlined with the rest of the page.

Airdrop 10 will have 500 slots and will reward all users with 10 ALTCOM each.
Payouts will happen over 2 days instead of 1.

So first half of payouts will be sent out Thursday, and the last bit will be sent out friday.

The airdrop will require you to have a minimum of 25 activity points.

The final airdrop! This time there shouldn't be any trouble getting on time with 500 slots  Smiley

I'm still waiting for the coins from airdrop #9, anyone received anything?

Be patient. During previous airdrop the devs transferred the coins during the next day, so they should arrive soon.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Jump in Ethereum difficulty (+20%) on: October 19, 2017, 08:00:35 AM
Mining ETH has become pointless for anyone with electricity above $0.10, difficulty rising has killed it for me.

So what are you mining now? It looks like all 'popular' coins like XMR, ZEC etc are in the same boat.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW/PoS180%]AltCommunityCoin New mandatory update!. on: October 18, 2017, 02:14:54 PM
Airdrop 9, please join here: https://goo.gl/forms/WUdvIAVWQevFHyzL2

Joined the airdrop! With 200 participants it should be much easier to be on time to join the airdrop this time! :-)
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Jump in Ethereum difficulty (+20%) on: October 17, 2017, 05:43:02 PM
yup..in the last 1-2 months the difficulty of most graphic cards mining coins that i am interested in has seen a significant increase.

Sounds familiar. I decided to buy a mining rig two months ago for mining ETH or XMR. Both coins had nice profits. However, since I got my rig I barely manage to get my power costs back.  Undecided
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Jump in Ethereum difficulty (+20%) on: October 17, 2017, 02:32:27 PM
So the Byzantium hard fork was successful. The difficulty has dropped significantly from 3000+ to below 1500. Is it profitable to start mining again?
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW/PoS180%]AltCommunityCoin New mandatory update!. on: October 17, 2017, 01:28:03 PM
I tried this miner also but had some very strange behaviour and gave up.
what kind of behavior ? i'm just curious what i missed (?) with this "prospector" ?

Look at my post in the prospector thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2033185.msg22376578#msg22376578. Somehow after the first start the config.toml file was created and after that... nothing.

Hey guys, what do youthink about Dogecoin?

Well, for a start. There are 1260 pages in this thread. Just go ahead and start reading the last 50 pages and you will have a pretty good idea about how 'we' think about Dogecoin.  Cheesy Cheesy

sgminer is not working with my gpu....(7950)
i was talking  about o[ne that was suggested in first message...    prospector
instantly got this message from avira

You can find more information about prospector here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2033185.0;topicseen. There are numerous posts about false(?) virus warnings. I tried this miner also but had some very strange behaviour and gave up. Sgminer was the only alternative, but this won't work in RDP so i was forced to stop mining.

It's really hard to keep up with this thread. If you miss one day then you have to read through 30 pages!  Grin
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: October 16, 2017, 07:31:49 PM

Again, this post was from about four months ago. Since then nothing is heard of the dev or development. So don't bring this post up again claiming there is big development going on.
