21  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (235 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: March 24, 2014, 02:38:42 PM
Did I miss any mining address?

22  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: February 26, 2014, 05:20:17 PM
Quick update:

1. Heads up: Incoming testing invitation from info@cryptomex.io.
2. Stabilization work going well, ongoing along with full mine audit. Will share consolidated report when complete.
3. If you're a confirmed investor you can see the current mine state @ https://www.icedrill.io/minestate (has been the case for about a week now). Working on better (over time graphing) visualization, will follow when rdy.
4. Final draft of financial report has been done. Traveling at the moment, will post when I get back.

Some of you have heard me say this in the last few days:

Stabilizing a stack of engineering Sierras is not dissimilar from taming a wild, mathematical horse. The experience is magical Smiley

Hi Will,

any updates on the financial report?
23  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: February 10, 2014, 04:38:59 PM
Thanks for the answers DeaDTerra. I'm looking forward to the financial report.
24  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: February 09, 2014, 12:19:44 PM
We are currently doing a audit of our books, we are aiming to have something. We are aiming to post public financial report at the end of the January.

DeaDTerra, any updates on the public financial report?

Now its February, no report published or did I miss something? I'm interested in the following questions:

- How much BTC raised from the IPO? Please split this numbers in public & private investors.
- How much BTC where spend for the Hashfast order? Please tell us about the date the order was made or the exchange rate (BTCUSD).
- Available funds, BTC or USD
- Monthly costs for the Datacenter
- Any recurring costs besides the datacenter? (like salary)
- How many shareholders took your offer to get a Miner in exchange for 120k shares? How do you full fill there requests, since there isn't 100% of the hashing power delivered by now?
-- What happened to this shares, are they destroyed?

Feel free to publish this information only to shareholders, for example on icedrill.io, but this should be available to ALL investors and not only to some handpicked big investors!

Please share the wallet address of current mining activities.

I haven't gotten a PM from Unthinkingbit about rating yet.  (Or I already did it, I don't remember Smiley)

Where did you see the list anyway?

I saw it at the "Recent Changes" section yesterday: http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=start&do=recent

He hasn't contacted us about rating yet. But to answer the question... the articles are randomly chosen. There are a lot of people to deal with. This is also why you don't post drafts. When they get indexed, and people visit them, they see bad information and are pushed away from the site (which is the exact opposite of what we want). Effectively by posting a bad version of your article you are destroying the site, rather than helping it.

Your rating will, over time, reflect where you stand as a writer. As such, just keep at it and you'll be fine as long as your writing quality increases.

I know (now), leason learned.

I have a question about the devtome ratings for round 32. It seems that there isn't an article of me on the round 32 list. Last round I got a bad rating because I published a draft (my bad...). I thought I could get a better rating this round. Is it possible to rate at least one article of every writer with > one share in the active round?

In the main Hashfast thread are several people receiving shipping notifications for batch #2 orders. When was the Icedrill order made, before or after batch #2 orders opened?

Please add Devcoin (DVC)

Is there somewhere I can read the ratings on my work? (not that I have any issues, just love the idea of critical feedback!)

Try this search query: https://www.google.com/webhp#q=site%3Adevtome.com+%22Writer%2C+Article%3A+0-99%22

In the URL you can see the round or you add your username to the query: https://www.google.com/webhp#q=site%3Adevtome.com+%22Writer%2C+Article%3A+0-99%22+melodiem

I would like to make an improvement proposal regarding the title tags on devtome.com.

For search engines like Google it is important to have a descriptive title tag (<title>) for every page (see here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35769?hl=en). Devtome is generating the title tag for each page from the page id, p.a. http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_bounty_now the title is "devcoin_bounty_now".

There seems to be a function in dokuwiki to use the first heading from each article to make have a proper title tag: https://www.dokuwiki.org/config:useheading. Most articles I had a look at where using headings.

This change should result in more visitors through search engines after some time.

I have no clue Smiley Any ideas on other things we can put up there?

Looks nice. Maybe you can add thousands separators to make bigger numbers better readable, for example here:

DVC / BTC   1,149,425.28735632
Est. DVC Per Share   205,479

I have published an article about an investment strategy: http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=investment_plans_using_dollar_cost_averaging

If there is still a bounty available for the investment plans and my article qualifies, I'd be happy to collect a bounty for this.

Icedrill should give us official update on latest status. Don't make us guessing.

+1 Yes please.

Hey KNC I KNOW YOU ARE TOO DAMN BUSY COUNTING YOUR MILLIONS TO ACTUALLY RESPOND TO THIS THREAD OR YOUR KNOW OWN CUSTOMER SUPPORT FORUM BUT ......
HERE IS A COMPLETELY GRATIS BUSINESS TIP FOR YOU, PLEASE TEST THE FUCKING UNITS BEFORE SHIPPING THEM.

+1 for that!

My nov jupiter arrived yesterday. I opened the case because I heard some sounds like the fans are not in the place they should be. Fixed the two fans that felt off during transport & checked all cable connections. After that I try to start the miner, without any problems. It was running for 4-5 hours and I decided to go sleeping. This morning the miner was down, in total it was running for 7-8 hours.

First I thought the PSU is broken, but a quick check without the miner connected showed this is not the case.

I started bugfixing:

1. Only beagleboard connected to PSU -> working
2. tested beagleboard + each hashing board seperate -> 3 working, 1 won't start (complete miner didn't start)
3. beagleboard + 3 working boards -> running, but hashing rate only 330 GH/s
4. Different combinations of the 3 running boards -> found two that reach together 330 GH/s

So now the Jupiter is only hashing with 2 boards, waiting for a reply from KNC...

Will, any update on delivery date?

+1

And Will do you already have an ETA on the update of the shareholder list on icedrill.io after transfers on bitfunder are disabled now? For me it still shows 0 shares after I had to change my address on bitfunder.
