1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin [VTC][ANN] Segwit Activated | ASIC Resistant Decentralized GPU Mining on: August 08, 2019, 05:44:10 PM

What has been done to mitigate the 51% attack problem which Vertcoin suffered? I was thinking about investing because I like the coin, but worried this could happen again.

Any info would be helpful, thanks

Meeehn…. Sometimes in this forum you never know who to trust. Another problem I do have with this forum is that most of the people that post about these projects or make announcements are newbies… I just don't get it. I am. Not the type of person that trust newbies cause I know that most of them here are just pure scammers. I haven't scrolled down much and I have already seen someone. Label this post as scam and I think the person is saying the truth because he gave his points on why this project here is a scam. So i am. Not believing this.

Newbies? The Larimer family is  the most established in the entire blockchain space. You need to do your research, you just might be missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime.

I think I jinxed it, there is something wrong with the rainfall....does anyone know when it will be fixed?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitShares EOS (BEOS) on: June 22, 2019, 04:58:17 PM

The rain has barely let up, wow, I might even be considered a small whale. Smiley The next time there is a Larimer family vacation, please let me know as I would like to send along a recruiter, Dan is like the Steve jobs of this generation. I'm not a big fan of Block 1, and their chain is a little Communist heavy for my taste, as far as I'm concerned, BEOS is the main chain. Smiley

Sorry if this has already been asked, but when I tried to fund my new BTS wallet with the 500 BTS fee, it said I needed to be a lifetime member on Bitshares. Is this correct?

Thanks

Stuart

I didn't see anything about being a lifetime member, there's a YouTube out there by someone on the BEOS team (I forget the name), but it walks you through the whole process of staking your BTS tokens.

Have you guys talked with No Limit Coin (NLC2) ? Disclaimer, I'm a bag holder..heh, but it seems like would be very receptive to the idea of a chain with the  option of choosing the jurisdiction in which to settle. Fantasy Sports Gaming & Betting. Granted I haven't used their services because I'm no a big gambling guy, but their UI looked pretty slick, and they've been hitting their goals, so maybe pass this along to your business development guy.

We're just past the half way point of rainfall.  Still as much to be given away as has been given away to date!

The timing is hugely suspicious. The campaign commenced on april 5, about the time when bitshareas made its first move on its way to hitting 100x gain back in 2017. Another thing is, larimer jr. prefers to stay off the radar for unclear reason. Terradacs is controlled and most likely owned by stan larimer whereas dan larimer has no involvement in anything BEOS-related. I heard it will take 10 years to deploy the rest of the nodes, apparently due to high cost of the rocket launch procedure and the whole undertaking. The project is nothing but smoke and mirrors. I wonder who might want to have bts users lock their token in BEOS accounts for 3 months - arpil-june.

Even 10 years on the space deployment would be ok, until that is ready, having the nodes in the most jurisdictional friendly locations is genius. Stan I vote for one node in Liberland, true freedom feels closer than it's ever been!

it won't take ten years to get our first nodes in space.  We'll deploy a lot of them at sea in internaational waters and in various jurisdictions around the world.  Liberland is not out of the question if someone there is able to run a node.  Utah and Wyoming are good choices.   People will have lots of choices where their transactions will execute.  Dan Larimer is not involved, Stan Larimer definitely is.  What's your point?

BEOS will be useful this summer and get better as we build out the node distribution over the net few years.

Now... owing to the fact hat you announced your stuff at the exact time BTS pumped two years ago, it becomes apparent that you knew beforehand that prices will stay low. As low as possible. What are you hiding larimer?

Clearly...a TIME MACHINE!

Balderdash! It's clear Stan is an aged (yet still distinguished looking) Captain T. Kirk!

That's great to hear, big believer in this project. If I was running a business, this would be my preferred chain hands down. Best of luck! And a little family rivalry never hurt anyone Wink

Will BEOS have a REX?

16  Economy / Exchanges / Can't withdraw on: July 19, 2018, 12:33:24 AM
I haven't been able to withdraw my coins from HitBTC for over a week now. The error I get is :

"Currency operations are not available. Please contact our support team via this form."

Their support says the currency I am trying to withdraw is going through maintenance, but on their site the status says "Healthy"

Anyone else having problems? The currencies I'm trying to withdraw are BitDegree and Nexo

Thanks!

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS tokens in ERC20 wallet? on: July 19, 2018, 12:19:41 AM
does anyone know if I'm missing the airdrops because I'm holding my tokens in an ERC-20 wallet?  it is registered.

The new airdrops are going to your EOS account. When you registered your ERC-20 tokens you should have received a new EOS public and private key pair. The EOS public key starts with 'EOS......'.

Try inputting your EOS PUBLIC key into a EOS block explorere like:

https://eostracker.io

https://eosflare.io/

and you should see the air-dropped tokens. Hope this helps.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic loss me 10800$ , so patient is the key on: June 03, 2018, 08:20:26 PM
Dear Members

Recently I faced a bad luck. here the story

I got IOTX from GATE .io 28th of may 196000 @ .00004600 ETH.  Then after one or two hour i sold it to @ .00004800.

After 3 days means June 1st , one IOTX went to .00014ETH.

if i sell June 1st  196000 * .00014 *590 = 16189$
Investment is = 5300$
so i have lost = 10800$

so in this story if i could wait 3 days , i have profit of 10000 USD. so in this case i am saying please be patient. wait wait. good coins always give a good reward to you

I would say nearly 100% of people who have been in crypto for over 6 months has a similar story. Yes, patience will be key. You want to be in the market when the explosion happens. It is coming.

Theta Token. This one is one of my picks to make a giant leap by the end of the year. The concept and the tech behind it is great and it is backed by former youtube and twitch. Sleeiping Giant!!

I really like Theta as well.

Take a look at ClearPoll (POLL), very low token supply, has a working product in alpha, launching in August. It will not take much for this coin to go 10x + IMO
