Recently I faced a bad luck. here the story

I got IOTX from GATE .io 28th of may 196000 @ .00004600 ETH.  Then after one or two hour i sold it to @ .00004800.

After 3 days means June 1st , one IOTX went to .00014ETH. 

if i sell June 1st  196000 * .00014 *590 = 16189$
Investment is = 5300$
so i have lost = 10800$

so in this story if i could wait 3 days , i have profit of 10000 USD. so in this case i am saying please be patient. wait wait. good coins always give a good reward to you

first of all from your  comment it is obvious you are gambling not investing.

secondly you have made 4.3% profit in 1-2 hours and you are complaining about this profit?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

third you have to think about it this way:
if you randomly help this coin and instead of going up it went down to 0.00001000 ETH you would have lost A LOT OF money.

and finally you made a huge mistake of not buying back when you saw the rise. in fact when you sold this shitcoin at 0.00004800 you made a solid good decision and you made a solid profit. but then you saw the rise days after that but you did nothing and just stood by instead of jumping on the pump wagon. THAT is where you lose opportunity.

ps. as you are complaining about this random shitcoin, there are at least 6 other shitcoins being pumped today that you are also missing out on making profit there....

I don't think you lost your money here,all you did is lost the profits if you can hold it more but you still made profits with your investment.First of all you need to contented with your earnings and don't be too greedy because mostly greed will tend to lose more.But think can be a good lesson for you to hold more but no one knows that when the price will increase or decrease so it will be better to aim small profits.

Then why did you sell it at .00004800 though? Did you just try your luck on that coin and exiting on time to get a small profit of margin? When we say day trading, it doesn't mean that you are going to sell it the same day, maybe it can last up to 3-5 days to maximized your profits. Anyways, I won't rub it out dude, but I hope that you learn your lessons here a very costly and expensive thing to learn. I also have a good experienced though,  the coin was really pumping and I was tempted to sell it, but I hold for just 3 days and it really makes a lot of difference, not as big as your profit but 2 ETH will be a nice profit to make in 3 days.

Sorry for you loss a great lesson to people that dump coin as soon as the token get to their wallet i don't sell in hast it is not a good thing to get used to next time hodl your valuable coin tightly.

I got exprience like that too, i got loss 100% of my coin price in 1 days it was mini heartattack. If i got wait in 24hours i already got my 100% profit. Good project or coin will be good profit.

would you have created this same topic if a different scenario which is also the common one happened? for example if after you sold your IOTX @ 0.00004800 ETH price went down to 0.00000100 ETH would have created this topic saying how super lucky you are that you sold your coins and prevented $15,800 loss?

I also believe that patience and confidence are the key to success. In the world of crypto currency there is no stability and it needs to be accepted. We are constantly confronted with huge price jumps. But as the statistics show, after significant falls usually there comes an incredible growth. Thus, the market is adjusted. I advise everyone to be patient and wait for a new wave of growth.

Always be patient and be smart as well. When you making so huge profit in a day and if your target which you had set breaks through then do sell rather than always keep waiting for an target which may not be achieved or the altcoin once fall may not rise and you will end up in a loss in your profit.

IMO,patience is the main thing for long-term investors but for day traders, the target is the main thing
are you a daily trader? do you have a target price to sell it? if 0.00004800 ETH is your target price it means you have successfully hit the target and loss of profit is a normal thing, so! make it as motivation to analyze more mature

The answer to your question is obvious. Of course, OP here would not open a thread if he got super lucky by selling it when IOTX was @ 0.00004800 ETH the other day when it got down today(unless he is one of those people that post their trades thinking it is a good and debatable topic in a thread).

Stop whining about it and move on. IMO you made a good decision to sell that shitcoin early because you could have had lost if it had gone sideways instead(since you have gained profit from it, I would not consider it a loss if I were you).

Yes that is the very much well know fact. It could have been easier for you to make the profits if you had some more patience. You are not the first guy who has posted something like this but there had been many who complained that wish they would have taken some more patience in the count to have profits. This is what happened last year when most of the people were angry as they did not hold the bitcoin until December when the prices were ouching the sky!

Thats a good lesson for you now and here on wards you should be checking out the market movements with all the precautions otherwise it can be disturbing again and again and could lead to demotivation.

I have been a victim  of this before and i had learnt from my mistakes long time ago when i loose almost $1000 just because of my personal fears, though this is a lesson to you as i have learnt my own lesson long time ago.
