Ano ang opinyon ninyo dito? on: April 27, 2020, 08:13:50 AM
Joining Campaigns is not a real Job because it is not stable. If we maintain the idea of Joining Campaigns as Job, we are enabling the abusers.

I support joining campaigns if hindi ito yung primary job mo. It is not a real job because it is not stable. Find a real job that matches your skills.

Ano ang opinyon ninyo dito? on: April 27, 2020, 05:11:27 AM
Tingin ko rin dati sa bitcointalk is trabaho, but i am wrong.
Ano ang opinyon ninyo dito? on: April 27, 2020, 05:02:10 AM
Joining Campaigns is not a real job.
6  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano ang tingin ninyo dito sa forum? on: April 27, 2020, 04:01:12 AM
Real Job means Job in Real World. Using your real identity and Real Skills.

Let's get into the context of Bitcointalk as a forum, Ano po ba yung Purpose ng Forum? Para magbigay ng trabaho? NOPE.
Look for a real job, the purpose of bitcointalk is to discuss bitcoin, cryptocurrency and other things that revolves within the Cryptoworld.

The Community may gain $ for their services but that is not the purpose of bitcointalk.

It's about your purpose of joining Bitcointalk, How you see Bitcointalk as an effective Forum and most importantly, Let's be proactive to change the reputation of Filipinos here on bitcointalk, Let's change our mindset.

But i will not change my statement. Joining Campaigns = Not a Real Job.
7  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ang Aking mga Ginagawa/Paraan para Maiwasan ang Mga Cyber Attacks on: April 26, 2020, 07:04:49 PM
Fake Scam and Investment mostly happens because of lack of knowledge and also lack of awareness lalo na sa mga kiniclick na links.

I will also share mine. This is Long. Please Read and also do not quote kasi baka may baguhin ako or idagdag.

BASIC
2. Install Anti Virus for your PC and Mobile Phone, Do regular deep scanning.
3. Review your Account Privacy Settings .
4. Review also each Software you install on your mobile phone or PC dahil may kinocollect din po silang Data.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCE
1. Use Different Emails for your activity online.
Example po mayroon kang account for social media, meron pang game, meron pang bitcointalk, meron pang personal, meron pang work.
Pwede, one for private, one for gaming, one for social media, one for public
Why? Lahat wala.

What Email Service Provider?
Mostly used kasi ang Gmail and also user friendly din ang UI niya at ang maganda ang usability niya.
But if you prefer to experience privacy, I'll go with ProtonEmail, na currenrly nakalimutan ko na ang accounts ko doon. If i have extratime , i will check my emails and accounts na pwede ko ilipat sa ProtonEmail.

2. Password.
*Use Different Passwords on each account. Preferably a strong generated password.
HOW?
USE a password manager for your password.
Example : KeepPass link: https://keepass.info/download.html
Why KeepPass? It is Open Source, Kapag sinabi pong open source, ang source code po nito ay published online which means it will be reviewed if it has malicious code and kung mayroon po ba itong flaw.
You can also generate strong password using KeePass!
*One main password to access your strong passwords
Benefits? No need to memorize different passwords, isang password lang ang need mo imemorize and access mo na lahat ng info about your passwords and accounts.
-I will do this kasi nagiging makakalimutin na ako and also i prefer generated strong passwords rather than passwords  na related sa birthday ko or sa favorite na color ko, same goes with you. Fix Your Passwords.

3. Use different Numbers.
Ito medyo God Tier na ito and i am doing this.
One number for personal
One for Banking/Money/Financial Related Activities.
One for Social Media.

How? they will pretend you and then contact nila ang network carrier mo to change your number into a new number, kumbaga ipoport nila yung lahat ng incoming calls messages mo sa number mo sa number na hawak nila. Nangyayari na po ito sa Pilipinas. 2015 pa.

Pwede kasi macollect yun and magamit ng mga scammers.
Sa Social Media naman pwede naman kasi na hindi ka gumamit ng Phone Number but mostly kasi kailangan, Pwede ka bumili ng One Sim for your Social Media and then pwede kahit itabi mo na lang yung sim, If na expire go to your service provider for reolacement or re activation, but for me na hindi mahilig sa social media, i always use email as much as possible and remove my phone number, eh yung ibang social media kasi they always nagging for verification maya i have no choice.

With Gcash or Paymaya, I use personal number since i do public transactions using it.

ADDITIONAL
1. Use Protection.
A. Protect your network connection
*Use DNS attack protection
- mostly po ng ISP natin they have their own DNS. Para sa simple lang po at maintindihan ng nakakarami halimbawa nagtype ka ng facebook.com, pwedeng ang lumabas na UI is facebook pero ang website is not facebook as is, it is a website created by DNS Attackers which may result into account hacking and phishing.
DNS attack protection prevents this from happening, this may not be usually happening pero still possible po na mangyari.
You can use INFRA
infra: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.intra&hl=en_US
for easy vpn and browsing privacy, use warp.
warp: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudflare.onedotonedotonedotone&hl=ko

Above all else na nadiscuss. Please Increase your  Level of awareness. Review your Account Settings and Your Privacy.

Increase your Level of Awareness. Magingat sa binibisitang website. Always be skeptical and also use google to verify and confirm suspicious emails or website or links.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Payment platforms that support Visa or Mastercard cards = the future of Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2020, 05:47:03 PM
No, Mass Adoption is still an event that we could hope for that can pave the way for usage of Bitcoin as a payment option in local shop for normal as is transaction and Please do remember what's the purpose of existence of Bitcoin, The Ideology of being independent from Central banks. I guess, Government and Banks will not allow the Mass Adoption, maybe they will but with regulation which is the KYC, the possible Taxes etc. Which is for me, not aligned with the Bitcoin Ideology and Reason of it's existence. Therefore, Payment Platforms Using VISA or MASTERCARD that supports cryptocurrency exchange or crypto activities is not a future of Bitcoin. It only shows that Mass Adoption is hard to push through without Government and Central Bank keeping an eye and putting all the efforts to control and regulate the future of cryptocurrency as a whole, not only Bitcoin.
9  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [MEGATHREAD] Pilipinas Coronavirus/COVID-19 Thread on: April 26, 2020, 10:58:30 AM
Maraming salamat.
Ingat mga kababayan!
Long Term Solution is to decongest Metro Manila. After kasi ng Pandemic, What will happen? They want to develop Provinces and Open it to attract Companies to Open Business which will create more Job which is actually Good but the thing is the Minimum Wage should be set as par with Metro Manila Minimum Wage. We all know that NCR is one of the Business Center kaya nagsisiksikan ang mga taga probinsya dahil mas malaki ang kita dito.
During the ECQ, Balik Probinsya Program also wanted to seek people who will settle in their provinces FOR GOOD, that is why Government seeks to develop provinces to create more Jobs.

By the way, this thread is for the ongoing crisis but I guess medyo na o-off topic na ito sa aking palagay. Anyways, hindi rin magandang tingnan na i-include those big chunks of quotes at least only quote who you want to address.
Yup, It's not good nga to look at big chunks of quoted posts😅 Edited my posts. The Topics we are discussing are still aligned with the current crisis po, It's still a healthy discussion to exchange views and perspectives regarding different issues caused by the Pandemic.
12  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: The elephant in the room on: April 26, 2020, 08:22:30 AM
I remember Polar91 as a participant , as a  Filipino Translator, on one of the campaigns that i managed. This is so sad. I also remember there is a thread na pinipaint na shitposter ang mga Filipino and they are not well versed in English language to communicate and post constructively, hindi ako nag react doon kasi karamihan talaga is ganun, The hate is understandable because some campaigns were abused by mostly alt accounts by Filipino users, Whatever Reasons ang mayroon si Polar91, he can't use that as a license to abuse campaigns. Taking opportunities from other people because of greed is an evil thing to do.

Look for a Real Job. Bitcointalk will not always be here for the purpose of bringing money to your own pockets, Sana maintindihan ng kapwa Pinoy natin na there is a possibility that the possible Banning of Philippine Users is in sight. Please reflect and Look for a real Job. Bitcointalk is not a Job. Campaigns are not a job. It is not a JOB. Look for a REAL JOB.

<-----removed, too long---->

Sir, Ang point ko let's not generalize. I understand all the points from other users as well. Ang jinujustify ko lang is, Let's not generalize , specially if we can't put our shoes to their own shoes and sympathize with them.
We don't have that data to justify this statement. Generalized Masyado yung Idea na kaya namang gawan ng paraan which pushes to the illusion that there is no problem, eh meron nga po eh kaya merong complaints.
14  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [MEGATHREAD] Pilipinas Coronavirus/COVID-19 Thread on: April 26, 2020, 05:41:39 AM
<---removed, too long-->
But let's not generalize po. Here is what i am trying to explain.
1. Let's not disregard the scholars ng mga private schools.
2  Is Online Teaching and Activities really effective to the Phillipine current Education System? For me, Hindi po. Is Mass Promotion a better option? Yes. Stop the Online Classes.
3. And What is the root of Student Complaints? Mahirap po kasi na Generalized and Subjective ang take sa ganitong discussion, and ang context po kasi ng Sinasabi ko is Students na nagrereklamo dahil wala (sila or yung kaklase o kaibigan nila) na resources ngayong ECQ.
Hindi ko iniinvalidate yung Pagsusumikap mo Sir , but your experience and opportunities can not be applied to everyone.
6. Ang resources po na tinutukoy ko mostly na wala ang mga student is Laptop and Internet. Wala po niyan sa Facebook.
Legit po yan, they are Gen Z problematic talaga karamihan sa kanila but they are not the face of Kabataan.
Hindi ko din po iniinvalidate yung perspective ninyo sa current na issue dahil po sa life experiences ninyo but i am only stating what i think is appropriate perspective on this Issue. Maybe we need an Objective Take or Maybe Let's Just Agree to Disagree, since we have different perspective on this issue.
15  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga may pera sa stocks, kamusta? on: April 26, 2020, 05:03:15 AM
Correct me if i'm wrong, I know related ang UITF sa Stocks

Not all UITFs are related to stocks, ang tanging related lang sa stocks ay ang tinatawag ng Equity Fund  under UITFs. If may nakita kang UITFs under Money Market Funds at Medium-Intermediate Bond Funds ito yung mga UITFs na nag-iinvest sa assets maliban nalang sa stocks from fixed-deposits to debt instrument ito yung mga assets na kung saan linalagay yung pera ng mga investor. UITFs under Equity Funds lang ang masasabi mo na related sa stocks or ang mga mutual funds lang under Equity Fund ang related sa stocks dahil sila lang yung para dito, bawal sila paghaluin sa ibang asset kasi mahirap mag manage ng ganito fund type and hindi sya stable.

Last Year, Started UITF something offered to me by ******* Bank. Cash in Started by 10K,10K,20k,5K,5K ang changed it by auto debit of 5K per month, currently I stopped this because the market is down and i have the lowest number of incoming clients in my work which is understandable because of COVID-19. So i stopped my UITF and Auto Debit because my UITF gain/losses is now at @-20K .

In my opinion you should stay away from UITFs being handled in the Philippines, bukod sa pagiging conservative at most yung pinaghirapan mo na capital ay maaring mabawasan pa dahil panget ang record nila when it comes to their ROI. To give you a good example ito yung latest performance result ng BDO UITFs under Equity Funds and lahat ng fund type nila dito returned a negative amount for their users.

click the image for the source

Yes malaking chance kaya bumaba ito kasi down din ang buong PSE since March but that last time I check they are performing poorly bago mag-crash yung market. Also UITFs only limit the potential your money bukod sa wala kang freedom like I said earlier these fund managers are conservative and sometimes do not perform very well, pag nandito pera mo ang dami mong nami-miss na opportunity sa merkado na kung ikaw mismo nag-iinvest.

Is it better to cut losses na ba or should i wait for the maturity period? . I understand the current situation and i am still hopeful to at least gain kahit man lang within 5K range dahil last year pa ako nagstart niyan. They said wait 5 years before withdrawing dahil matagal daw talaga makita ang magandang return. What are the better options maliban sa UITF? I don't have that much time when it comes to Stock Trading, I saw PAGIBIG MP2 Investment Program dahil sire ang return though you need to cash in large amount of money to gain more return.

No matter how you say it. COVID-19 is not a blessing in any possible way but COVID-19 made a lot of people realize that Health Care System should be prioritized and strengthen, It should be affordable and accessible by all people. Government can take this pandemic as a lesson learned for the next upcoming Pandemics. It is important to Fund researches for Vaccines to prevent pandemics and future influenza mutations (https://www.niaid.nih.gov/diseases-conditions/universal-influenza-vaccine-research) . Vaccines are important and Everything should be backed by evidences and scientific facts. But Still, This Pandemic is not a Blessing in Disguise, more of a Wake Up Call for every people in every nation.

Also as a student, hindi maiiwasan na may mga teacher na nagpapa activity online which is not good for everyone.

They are making it Mandaroty with the fact that not all of the students have the resources to do school works from home. hindi pwedeng humindi at magreklamo?,

-Will update this once i go home, work is already done , waiting for the shift to be finished so i can go home, free time to look and investigate just taking some time to check alt accounts,Edit: already archived their profile
-I know the Proof and evidences are weak since there is no address related to the account but as for my intuition , i think both accounts are connected and they are both shady and have a spammy quality type of post.
I hope you consider this.
