707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The END of ICO's? on: September 22, 2017, 01:20:52 AM

I just hope all country can do this kind of regulation on ICOs with that regulation we can get the assurance that this ICO is definitely not a scam because it is regulated by the Government meaning, Regulation on ICOs could result into less SCAMS, and can provide a way for investors to focus on true ICOs that can give potential for profit-making and can build a good return of investments.
708  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 21, 2017, 03:03:56 AM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.
Actually, Government can stop bitcoin from mainstream activities and it could be back again on dark web activities but i don't think the Government will do such stupid thing, They will get the benefit they can get on bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies/coins. The technology of Cryptocurrency is really beneficiable. There is money on cryptocurrency therefore, i don't think Government will stop Bitcoin from it's mainstream activities.
Regulations is just for trading and exchanges, Still you can use Bitcoin even if the Government illegalized it, It's just you really need to secure yourself from the Government which is a hard thing to do.

711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs to accredited investors on: September 20, 2017, 08:55:28 AM
Newbie here, but would like to know the opinion of other experienced users/anyone with an opinion (everyone) here Cheesy.

With the recent bans, and news of crypto tightening regulations, some coins (mostly those which are modeled as a security) are beginning to move more into an accredited investor/institutional investor-only ICO.

Do you guys see it as ICOs/blockchain defeating its own purpose by being open only to individuals with the big bucks, a needed measure, or there is way for us to agree on a middle ground?
You have a point, but you should check also that these are ICOs, i think it is the same model with IPOs ,like this is what IPO/ICO 's offer, it's for you if you will invest or not, i think there are some ICOs that allows a low rate for investment.

714  Economy / Economics / Re: A sprinkle of realism ... on: September 20, 2017, 03:21:32 AM
... or am I being unreasonably pessimistic?

I only joined this forum a week or so ago and I'm loving it, all the different topics, all the different opinions and views.  I think I'm in danger of getting the 'investing in crypto' bug and I'm gradually gearing up to dipping my toe, probably in BTC and ETH.

However, hold on a sec.  This forum, understandably, is full of people that buy into the concept of cryptocurrency, have invested various sums, trade in the stuff and so on.  My point?  Everyone on here wants to see the value of cryptocurrency rise ... and rise ... and rise.

None of us have a crystal ball, if we did we'd be multi billionaires, however as much as I like the projected idea of BTC being worth <insert very high monitory value here> in 5-10 years, is this sort of projection valid?  Are we perhaps seeing an expected slowing down and perhaps even slight plateauing of BTC and an end to significant increases week by week?

As I say everyone on here quite rightly want to see the likes of BTC increase exponentially over the coming years, however we're all excited by the whole crypto thing.  Are we therefore at risk of looking at the whole thing through rose tinted glasses, basing our hopes on the increases of the last few years that, surely, can't continue?

Am I right ... or wrong?

You are (well, maybe or possibly) wrong in my opinion , This assumption is really a good example of unreasonably pessimistic. Dude, There are money a REAL money that flows to the system, it does not created on a thin air without actually spending money, well, some of the coins is really given for free ( which is somehow feels like a scam coun") but real cryptocurrency isn't just there poofing with a booming value, it is because of money flow demands and more elements. but i cannot be right that it will be here forever, but we cannot even say that we are just living to an imagination that one day we will wake up on the reality that cryptocurrency is just nothing.

I hope you can consider my application

That's useless because he will not look into your application. You are wearing Notary signature codes and Yahoo (normally) require you to wear proper sig codes before applying.
It's Okay. Because Notary is needed for some junior members, that's why i tried my luck there.

Hello. I was # 10 in the review. Are you only pay up to 9?

I was #9 and you are on #10 spot but OP allowed someone to PM him/her even if it is not on the rules OP posted, I think that is really unfair.
