Could someone please send me some testnet tokens to check something? Or if someone knows who to point me to to request.

I thought people could not downvote someone just remove there vote.

yes, correct.

(what wouldnt matter cause he got 12%)

Yes, but theoretically could the other 88% vote for 101 other delegates
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 18, 2016, 03:34:38 PM
Only i hope there will be a Dapp that makes people run a deleagte togheter cause with one person buying about 15% of the ico he can easly set up 15 delegates, thats what worries me that one gonna try to control many delegates

cause with 15 delegates he will get like 1,5 million coins in year 1. making it able to make more delegates for year 2.

running a delegate has nothing to do with the size of its account. And he doesn't get more income than an account with less Lisk.

True and not true, A Delegate is someone to be voted on with 1 lisk be 1 vote.

Meaning that if you own 1 million lisk you always will have a Delegate if you vote them all for yourself.
Cause 1 million means 1% of the total coin cap and there will be 101 delegate correct me if im wrong.

Yes, but 99% could vote against you...

UPDATE on http://nxtreporting.com

We just got again some nice updates:

* Check the bottom of the asset market cap: http://nxtreporting.com/assetcap.php we just got some totals over all assets: Let's check some numbers: We have a total market cap over all assets (not including the issuer account) of 26 million USD. That would place the Asset Exchange directly on place 8 on coinmarketcap.com!! Another value: A total trading volume over the last month of 1.7 million USD, on the asset exchange. Very promising!

* If an id is searched for, it shows now a message when there exist accounts and assets and transactions with the same id (that is rare, but happens) see http://nxtreporting.com/?a=12465186738101000735&c=USD for an example.

* The issuer account and the genesis account got a special mark in the shareholder list. Check Bithaus and LOVE

* Check the genesis account Smiley http://nxtreporting.com/?ac=1739068987193023818

Hey NxtReporting.com users

A BIG UPDATE went online, check it out! It has the following new features:

* ASSET MARKET CAP: Market capitalisation of all assets. At the top of the list you have a Dropdown to select how the total maket cap should be calculated. You can exclude there for example the stack of the asset issuer to find out how much assets are in circulation right now.
* SHAREHOLDER LIST: Select an asset and get a list of all accounts that posses this asset. The same list is also visible on the Asset-detail-page. Thats for example useful when you want to pay dividens or if you want to find out between how many accounts your asset is distributed. Or are you just curious who is full of LOVE? Check  http://nxtreporting.com/shareholder.php?a=12358227497921853690
* Zoomable nice interactive graphs on the asset page that includes all trades with prices and volumes.

Some minor improvements:
* New breadcrumb navigation
* Nice little icons (from the ideenfische styleguide)
* Improved profitability tracking
* Other visual and functional improvements

And we're not finished yet. Stay tuned for the next update.

Post and twitter about NxtReporting.com, show it to your friends and investors, spam the social media!

Enjoy Nxt!

Hi Nxt-People
The Nxt ecosystem has a shiny brandnew service: NxtReporting.com is a beautiful, easy to use web service. Its main purpose is to track the profitability of your complete Nxt Asset Exchange Portfolio. Yes, exactly: For every asset you possess, you can see if you made a profit or a loss with it. You can track exactly when you bought how much of it, when you sold it and what were the best trades. Additionally, it works as a complete blockbrowser with graphs of the last trades and a lot of info. And all of that by simply entering your account number. No registering, no login needed, for free!

=How can you help to further improve NxtReporting.com and increase the overall value of Nxt=
* test, use, and enjoy NxtReporting: go to NxtReporting.com, enter your Nxt account number, have fun.
* spread the word about NxtReporting: tweet about it, retweet about it, blog about it, post about it, tell your friends, neighbors and grand parents about it.
* Give feedback to us: possible improvements, feature requests, bug reports. Every feedback is appreciated!

=How we want to further improve NxtReporting.com=
* implementing new features, showing additional information, make nicer and more graphs
* fixing bugs and adding improvements, based on your feedback

NxtReporting.com was created by Dario and me. Dario is the developer of CoinReporting.com, a nice service to track your cryptocurrency portfolio. And me, I am just a simple Nxt enthusiast, who wants Nxt to rule the world Smiley

See the official announcement and thread here:
https://nxtforum.org/news-and-announcements/nxtreporting-com-the-nxt-asset-exchange-portfolio-manager/
Post feature requests, bugs, comments in that thread

TL;DR
Checkout NxtReporting.com, the Nxt Asset Exchange Portfolio Manager with Profitability Tracking. Use it, enjoy it, spread the word about it and give feedback how we can further improve it.

Enjoy Nxt!

Service providers will rate all assets traded, if someone uses ciyam.ciyam and it is verified that this is in fact not you, and he sues this asset without good reason other than to scam, the service provider can in fact "blacklist" the asset (and the alias), solving the issue.

This isn't in existence (such service providers) and "blacklists" are *never a good way to go*.

Please stop trying to push for this "unique name" and let other methods be developed as we progress.

Note that if every 2nd generation platform does the same thing (allow unique names) then you'll never be able to trust "the same name" on any 2 platforms (so all such *brands* have become *useless*).

+1 FullAck with CIYAM

Ya, what do you suggest I change the text to? I don't know at the point of the message whether it's an asset transfer or something you bought.

Not sure if there is anything that can even be done about this, but when I receive my Nodecoins("Mined"), I get a notification in Wesley's client "You have bought 50 Nodecoins"...except that I didn't    Wink

I can only assume the same notice would appear when any asset it transferred to me?

Now that could confuse the shit out of people.

Maybe just "You received 50 ... "? Then it doesn't matter if you paid for them or not.

anon: I'm pretty sure your calculation of 5.5% difference is correct, you used the formulas and values correctly.
a temperature difference of about 900 degrees is pretty severe, I think a shrinking of 5% is absolutely possible.

electrum database. (1626 words)

Perfect.

hm, I'm not sure if that is perfect...
35 random characters (let's say from 50 different characters, numbers and signs) gives 10^59 possibilities.
12 words (or characters) out of 1626 are "only" 10^38 possibilites...

Nxt :: Asset Exchange Test

Please send me some test cases so I can upload them to the test management platform.

I didnīt receive a single PM regarding testcases. Iīve set up a test management platform, which is useless without test cases. Due to the restrictions, I am the only one that can add test cases, but everyone will be able to run the tests.

So please, provide some test cases for the asset exchange, so I can fill the platform with life.

You can reply here, or send me a PM, whatever you prefer.

you have seen my test case, haven't you?

Marketing? Take that video.

We should make different videos for different purposes. This one is more a how-to-install-and-use tutorial. Don't use it for marketing. A marketing video should be no longer than 2-3 minutes. In a marketing video you don't show how to extract a zip file. Show only how great it looks, how easy it is to use and show the nice features. With a good voice (joefox?) and nice sound.

I posted here a suggestion for a campaign to find wanted/needed features in NXT and to make some viral marketing!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412243.msg5571317#msg5571317 (marketing thread)

what do you think about it?
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt marketing & promotion :: Nxt is now 100% Open Source! And on Cryptsy! on: March 07, 2014, 04:24:38 PM

We will only get the attention of the mass community of Bitcoiners if we come up with a marketing theme / campaign that engages people to adopt NXT.  The will not adopt NXT because it is better or technically superior.  They will only adopt NXT if it meets a need of theirs that Bitcoin does not already currently meet.

We could focus on the decentralized asset exchange. It is something for selfish, technical interested or financial people.

The average people doesn't care that it could sell its stocks using AE...

The dialog should be like this:
We: With NXT and its AE you can do <some specific, really useful stuff in the daily life>, bam!
People: Really? I can do that with NXT? How can I get some NXT?

+1.  This.  Pay attention to this.

Somehow in my gut I feel like this NXT conversation, when it happens, will have something to do with smartphones - probably iPhones.  One of the people I talked to (a group of two guys, actually) claimed to have the only Bitcoin wallet for iPhone because the Apple Store has kicked Bitcoin out of the Apple App ecosystem.  They exploited a clever loophole - an organization can send apps to its members.  So they set up a membership plan which qualifies you to download a group Bitcoin Wallet that is not available to the general public.  Clever.  Maybe NXT could do the same and become the iPhone Cryptocurrency app.

BUT FIRST WE GOTTA GET MERCHANTS TO ACCEPT NXT.  I am going to be doing some research into this, stay tuned.

One last big lesson from Texas Bitcoin Conference - perhaps the bigget one of all.  People want to hear confident leaders on a stage.  People want to hear confident leaders  on a stage.  People want to hear confident leaders  on a stage.

Until NXT can provide these, we are in the ditch.

What do you think about the following "campaign":

organize some kind of brainstorming for much needed/cool/useful use cases for the average people and/or businesses that would convince these people to use NXT. Promise a bounty for the best ideas.
Fire on all channels, BCT, twitter, g+, fb, whatever, to attract as many people as possible. Attract also general people and people that never heard about NXT before. Ask them what a distributed system (in general, not only crypto currency) should provide to make it useful to them. What would convince them to get and use some NXT. What would improve their daily life. Everybody should be able to make suggestions, also stuff that sounds crazy and impossible (...nothing is impossible with NXT... Wink)
Collect all these suggestions/ideas. Then let's vote about them and reward the 3 best (or 10 best...)

Benefits of this campaign:
* find requirements/needs of the general people (that helps to create and promote the right/wanted features in NXT)
* viral marketing about NXT (media, new users, new devs...)
* FUN Smiley

And no, I won't/can't do it, I'm not a marketing guy and I don't use fb and twitter Smiley
