Oh...based on some observation with this forum, the bounty becomes less and less efficient and more nad more expensive  ....I think many projects will simply avoid running bounties in the future...doe snot make too much sense - the value gets so much dissolved So far paid signature campaigns work much better |

It's never too late to buy Monero, or any other perceived "blue chip" cryptocurrency at the moment. ...
Agree - there is still a bunch of potential...just now it will take longer for most altcoins to realize it as they need to grow the value behind first...not just driven by crazy demand |

50% does sound like a big amount, take caution with ICOs that offer that much.
15%-20% is a more realistic offer.
If the amount sounds ridiculous from your perspective you can always talk to the dev team about it.
Well, I think 50% is still can be fine...I would be much more suspicious about projects which offer 100% bonus straight ahead ...That I don't understand indeed - why they may dissolve the value so much offering tokens/coins for free??? |

Most ICO now is a scam just beward of it.
Well, I would say "MANY", but not "most". Just assess the project in detail. If you see the real market demand, real product developed, strong team, good advisers, a lot of investment in promotion from the team side, etc. Just don't trust everything - check first carefully! |

You have to be super picky as there is so much noise out there these days. People say: "this is scam, that is scam" sometimes only because they don't like the project. Sometimes even legit projects don't take off, get derailed or bogged down.
Find a project that actually NEEDS blockchain to function. Join the telegram, talk with the founders. Check their minimum viable product. If they are selling vaporware or whitepaper your coins and you could be much happier someplace else.
That's smart! Yes - once the project does not have at least some product prototype where functionality is clear and working, I would suggest not even consider as a candidate for investment - tons of crap around |
