I think that a long-term holding could bring a big profit. Actually the market is down so it will be better to wait for few months. Just only be patient. Now is the right time to buy some more high potential and cheap coins.

If you are not trading your altcoins you should keep them in your wallet. It is a good opportunity to keep your funds safe. Exchange is less secure than wallet. They may get hacked or suspended by the government. I keep all my long-term investments in my wallet.

Many persons do not more believe in ICOs and were disappointed because of too many scam projects. Fortunately I have not been a victim of a fake ICO. But there are still some out there which are legit. Just invest in ICOs that create a real product and can be boom in the market. Always study first the project before you decide to invest.

My plan for 2018 is still the same like 2017. I will continue investing in Bitcoin and altcoins. Also I will buy now cheap coins and sell them later. Just hold them till they reach new ATHs and sell almost 75 % of my portfolio.

It is a project about Temperature controlled containers & IoT sensors on the blockchain. The SkyCell company is based in switzerland. Smart Containers is a fantastic use-case for the transport of sensitive food products and pharma goods.

The market of cryptocurrency is still growing and this will be the future. People will have more and more trust in smart contracts. Those altcoins which got a real work will definitely survive. It just also depends on the developers team and its support. But most of them like shitcoins won't survive.

It seems to be a very good time to buy coins much lower than the ICO price. I don't invest only in ICOs. It is much better to invest into low cap coins with small market capitalization and of course with a good project and a solid team.

I think that the top 3 coins in 2020 will be Bitcoin, Ethereum and IOTA. Bitcoin will still be in the top 3 also in 5 years.

Many ICOs are scam already and also many have failed. Most of them are just money grab. To do reasearch before participate in an ICO is a very important thing. Also reading the whitepaper and check the background of the team.

I am using  Binance or Kucoin. Both exchanges are very user-friendly with a nice support service and good trading volume.
But I use also: Bitfinex, Waves Dex, HitBTC, Coss, Yobit, Poloniex, Bittrex.

Best option to use fiat currencies to buy crypto:

3. GDAX

No need to panic. This is usually a normal process when bounty hunters sell their tokens immediately. Often it has a bad effect on the course. Only need to be patient because after a time the price of a token will increase. I won't panic if I believe in the project with a good and active team and community.
