Day 5 after banning accounts - No response on emails.

Andrej replied to one of my DM on reddit asking to send an email and that he will sort it out.

Funds still didn't return neither did I get a reply on the email. That's a big sum of money held by them for no reason and such delay for releasing OUR funds is really unacceptable. If they would ban us for whatever reason at least release our balances.

We still did not get our coins back - already contacted support but no response
4  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: January 22, 2018, 11:57:01 AM
And what if I told you I just checked the Nist5 algo and found that manipulation is still on going? it seems your banning procedure did not fix the problem. You will need proper algo switching and order switching code in order to fix it.
This screenshot was taken just now by miners paying 0.0001 BTC/GHs per day?
5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: January 22, 2018, 11:27:59 AM
Recently, we have banned several market manipulators that were responsible for cheating out NiceHash Miners by first placing very high paying orders and then when NHMs started filling in, cancelling them. At the same time, these persons had very low paying orders ready to accumulate the remaining NHMs that were stuck for some time with very low paying orders. We did not steal any coins, we just terminated access to these accounts. If you would like to get your coins back, you will have to contact support.

Normally, we do not interfere with our markets, but this time, we had to, to protect our miners from getting ripped off by some buyers.

As a measure, we did not only ban market manipulators, but we also improved algorithm switching and we will worker harder on this issue in the future.

Temporary, we have disabled placing Blake2s orders and we may reinitiate placing them when we have stronger anti-market manipulation tactics in place.

Actually, I got banned but my initial problem started because I couldn't even cancel an order, neither did I have a very low paying order. All the assumption you put for the manipulators does not apply to me yet I got banned. I am no longer using your services in my entire life we as buyers have lost so much due to your mistakes and you really put us in distress. We agreed to buy hash again after the breach because we were promised better experience but what you are doing now is totally off limits.

Anyways to cut it short as I have no energy or mood to keep this discussion going. I request the immediate withdrawal of my BTCs on the platform and you have good luck banning users for using your services again after you have already messed up big time.

Cheers
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nicehash - deleting accounts with big balances. on: January 22, 2018, 04:52:11 AM
Thanks for your contribution to the topic and your support. I would have lost 1.7 BTC in limbo if it wasn't for your on time support. At least now we managed to cancel the order and the BTCs should be in my NH balance when they respond minus some amount that I take no responsibility in losing.

Issues like this cost people money and they must have on-time support as they promised if their system is still facing problems and they are here for long term business.

I really wonder what would have happened if I failed to reach you on time? would NH reimburse me?

I hope to get a response soon from NH

7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Nicehash - deleting accounts with big balances. - 1.7 BTCs held by NH on: January 22, 2018, 04:09:05 AM
What happened: After I made a deposit of 1.694 BTCs, my account got deleted and can no longer access it. First I placed a mining order for 0.05 BTCs and after minutes I noticed it was loaded with my full balance. I tried to cancel the order as it became unprofitable but received a "No Permission" error. I thought that would be fixed by logging out and in again so I logged out and could not login again - incorrect username or password. Tried to use password reset and received "error finding user". Since I kept my API keys, I tried to use them in order to see if I can see my balance or cancel the order from there but also got an error.

After the last breach, we as buyers received an email with VIP support number available to contact them personally on Whatsapp or Telegram. As I had an order losing my BTCs with a ratio of 3:1 I wanted immediate support so I tried to text them but got no response at all either on whatsapp or telegram. They seem to not be using this number but gave no prior notice to us that their VIP support is going offline.

As I received no response from NH and it would take long time if ever to reply to my email,  I reached out to the pool operator of unimining.net in order to ban/block my mining address in their pool and restart the stratum to disable the order into establishing a connection and hopefully killing it.

There was already miners on the pool and restarting the stratum would interrupt their work but as the pool's admin knew I was losing big money he helped me out and killed the connection from NH to the pool on my mining address and although I ofc lost some money I did the best anyone could do in order to avoid losing too much and I guess it all went pretty fast and the order was disconnected after around 15 minutes maybe. After some time of failed connection I received an email from NH that my order was cancelled by the system.

cautious with them NOW?
one should have been running for the hills when they "lost" 100mill$ in BTC...

tbh, anyone who stays there is just like a yobit user, cant really complain its a scammy PoS, you all knew what you were getting into (had you done some research)
wish someone would build a transparent, REGISTERED in a 1st world country nicehash type service Sad

Since there is no news on their twitter or anything and it seems they are closing accounts with big balances, I will open a new topic in the scam accusations.
9  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: January 22, 2018, 12:42:22 AM
My another account got banned with 0.4 balance in Nicehash BTC wallet. If someone in Nicehash support watch this post, please help me login again and at least give my BTC back.

I am willing to wait for one week to get response, but if no response these actions seems to be stealing user's BTC by removing login access.

I think it is okey to restrict user for making orders or something, but disallowing login and disabling access to Nicehash BTC wallet is not something right to do. Or if it is technical problem then you should notify users that you are currently having technical login issue.

Please reply to this post OR reply to email that I sent to support@nicehash.com OR reply to my twitter message.

They banned/deleted my account too with wallet balance 1.7 BTCs. I placed an order with 0.05 BTC and after a while it was loaded with my full balance of 1.7 BTC out of nowhere - tried cancelling the order and I got "No Permission" error. Logged out of NH and could not log in again - saying bad credentials. Trying to reset the password and it says error finding user.

NH VIP service are not responding, sent an email to them but no response till now.

What are NH doing? banning account with BTC balance? I ask everyone to be extremely cautious with NH now because it seems something fishy is going on
10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][NEW][EXCHANGE] stocks.exchange new altcoin exchange on: January 16, 2018, 03:23:19 PM
Guys, I have been like you the past week and was extremely worried about relatively large BTC withdrawals not processing. I have to admit yes, they are having extreme delays and probably major issues now very messed up exchange for the time being. but honestly i never missed a single coin, I always got my BTCs even if extremely late. I had a withdraw that took almost 3 days and others that were processed immediately.

I am currently waiting for a withdraw for almost 24 hours and it is still not processed.

It is of course your choice but I have the feeling they are not scam - just facing major issues in their code or they could be migrating to something better.

I would avoid it in the next week till everything is fixed but if you already have money there you are 99% ok and will receive it sooner or later so chill out
11  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][NEW][EXCHANGE] stocks.exchange new altcoin exchange on: January 13, 2018, 10:55:50 AM
I wish I could say it has been a smooth ride with them. Just started tonight - sent about $800 worth of BTC - arrived in the wallet OK after about 40 minutes. Then I traded it for some ORE.  Order was fully executed in about an hour. But when attempting to withdraw the ORE, received "Email Sent" as a status. This is where they are supposed to send an email with a link to confirm. No email arrived. Clicked "Re-Send" - said "Email Sent" - but none arrived. Tried it one more time. Nothing.

Opened a ticket.

We'll see. Pretty disappointing and especially troublesome because CM is so broken as well as Cryptopia having all kinds of issues.

I don't think it's right, thought, to automatically label this kind of trouble as a "Scam" - seems like people throw that word around a lot more than it actually happens.

Anyway - here's hoping for the best  ...  Smiley

I received my withdrawal of 0.85 BTC today after they cancelled my withdrawal following this tweet https://twitter.com/stocksexchanger/status/951796262910783488

I made a second withdrawal and it was processed in 25 minutes so I guess it was just facing issues.

13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][NEW][EXCHANGE] stocks.exchange new altcoin exchange on: January 11, 2018, 05:46:28 PM
I had many issues with them in the past days but all sums up to delays only - no lost coins.

First my XSH deposits took more than 12 hours for like 3 times already. everyday I deposit early in the morning and receive them late at night. BTC withdrawals where not that slow though - taking around an hour or so to show on the blockchain.

Today it's different, my deposit went in ultra fast - 5 minutes maximum but my BTC withdraw is approved from yesterday. it has been no less than 20 hours already.

I want to ask if someone is having success withdrawing ETH maybe?

That won't be an option. Many thanks though.
15  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My BTC TXs have a relatively large size compared to others. on: January 11, 2018, 12:04:28 AM
After getting a little deeper in understood that P2SH transactions are bigger in size that P2PKH

Any way to get around that without giving up my 2FA wallet?
16  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help needed! Any chance? [HIGH REWARD] on: January 10, 2018, 11:52:34 PM
The 2FA wallet is using 3 signatures, where only 2 of them are required in order to fully sign the transaction. Your seed contains 2 of them and trustedcoin holds the third.

Your current situation is that you hold only one of those 3 in your wallet.dat, Since your seed is not correct then you can forget about the second one forever.

Your only hope now is the third one held by TrustedCoin and i don't know if they will be willing to provide their key to you at all as it will just make the whole service meaningless.

You can try though to contact them and sign a message with the key you hold to prove you hold at least that key and maybe they could co-operate.

It seems very strange that you missed saving your seed and also lost your authenticator code. If you were using Authy you can still retrieve it back even if you lost your phone. Let me know if this is the case.
17  Bitcoin / Electrum / My BTC TXs have a relatively large size compared to others. on: January 10, 2018, 11:00:51 PM
Hello,

Almost all my TXs have relatively large size compared to their similar ones.

Take this as an example, that should be the slimmest TX in size as it has only 1 input and only 1 output.

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/c0ffa2fd4b0490e8fac17c65600cf1a695b8750ce39303f623ae3f83f84c3cd8

This one is 339 Bytes similar TXs should be like 192 or so.

A second one with 1 input and 2 outputs has a size of 372, similar ones are 226 bytes

What is actually the reason behind this? I am running electrum
18  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Victim of now-known exploitation in versions 3.0.4 and under on: January 10, 2018, 10:49:17 PM
In order for the last exploit to work, you must have your electrum wallet running unprotected with any password of 2FA/MultiSig and access a website or run a malicious software that would try use the exploit.

May I ask where did you download your original electrum wallet from? you can find this in your downloads tab in the explorer you used to download.

if it is anything other than electrum.org then you know the reason...
