301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔵🔵 OYSTER 🔵🔵 Anonymous Storage Generates Revenue for Websites on: November 03, 2018, 02:33:23 PM
So what can the team say about the current accusations about the project? Since it is one of the hyped projects I missed last year, I wonder what could've possibly happened internally that all others including their smart contracts for such a great project were dumped according to the people around here? Any clues on what had happened especially you guys have reached some kind of millions of dollars in profit just before the bullrun last year. Smiley
302  Economy / Economics / Re: First licensed crypto-BANK! on: November 02, 2018, 04:01:12 PM
Hmmm, more like a token bank which will use its own token.
And the fees...god !!!!!...the feees !!!!

https://eqibank.com/fees/

Quote
Annual Fee:   Accounts <€5M Maintenance € 1’000
Wire Transfer Fee:   € 100

I hope there are quite a few of extra zeros in that table or it's some sort of Aprils Fools Halloween joke !

Lol yeah what are the tokens for if they already keep your cash and crypto for you? It makes much more sense to use those for whatever you might need. The memberships also feel like they just want you to buy tokens.

But yeah, the concept might be intriguing, but I can take care of my crypto myself so I probably won't be in the market for this kind of banking anytime soon. I can see this being quite polarizing.

Crypto Banking, Why? The driving force behind this interest isn’t so much the cryptocurrencies themselves, as it is the technology that the industry is built on – Blockchain!
And also, EQI is going to have an built-in exchange, so you would have everything on one place, check this out
https://nulltx.com/are-banks-really-using-blockchain/

The fees are quite high. What's with that? It almost costs more than a bank would pull out of your account when your wire transfer money to be made by them. That's just another 'licensed platform' who's gonna milk out their potential customers some fees. Lol and that just killed the very concept of why blockchain technology exists.

Yet another 'Exchange' in the current cryptocurrency market. And its operating with AI at that. How are you guys supposed to keep with the current volatility of the market? Smiley How can you ensure everyone is in good hands and not just another 'hackable' exchange? Thank you if ever you guys can answer this ! Smiley
305  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Telegram Scammer pakyuka! on: October 30, 2018, 04:04:09 AM
Eto yon e. Number 1 Rule palagi. Kaya best answer = Never talk to strangers that directly PMs you on Telegram. Malamang sa malamang scam yan Smiley
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which coins or tokens will be profitable within this month? on: October 29, 2018, 11:42:08 AM
There are a lot of good ICOs who have just finished their crowdfunding and is in exchanges. Just do your own research because its a volatile market we have right now. Pumps and dumps can happen anytime and anywhere. Maybe you can try BNB since it's price has been stable even if the market is literally down.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Currency on: October 28, 2018, 07:29:37 PM
The volatility of bitcoin is one of the factors why it shouldn't be considered as a real life currency. Its price is derived from people who wants to buy it. Much like anyone who would like to buy some popular business shares of some sort of company out there. It will always and always going to be down and when it happens, you know it means something, for you and your dear money.
308  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My 1200 BTC Account Is Blocked By Binance on: October 26, 2018, 01:55:47 PM
check op previous posts and you will be sure he does not have that amount of btc Roll Eyes

Yep the claim is just too shady too. Especially him holding 1200 BTC and then he buys this Newbie Account to create this thread. I will see this might be some kind of a marketing scheme for an upcoming exchange. If he can provide at least a very good evidence about him holding that 1200 BTC in Binance that will be good enough. Surely, his lawyers know better Smiley
309  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My 1200 BTC Account Is Blocked By Binance on: October 25, 2018, 04:31:35 PM
There is just one thing that is the most fishy here. WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WILL PLACE 'ALL OF HIS 1200' BTC IN A REGULATED EXCHANGE? I'm sorry but your story just doesn't add up. Three points to sum your suspicious claims.

Point #1. You registered and traded with Binance for 3 months, lets say for a daily basis, without even passing a single 'verification' they had while I a newbie have at least level 2 on my account. I don't even have that any large amount but binance requires you to secure your account at the very least.

Only 'stupid people' would consider having that large amount of BTC in a regulated crypto exchange, knowing that Binance is under China's legislation. All of its undertakings are under great eyes so the traders who chose it as a platform shall know that they will be facing stricter rules versus any other platforms out there.

Point #2. Who would buy a newbie account just to post his problem with Binance? You could've just went ahead with your lawyer doing his job since you're paying to do his job right? It won't be easy yes but you have to be really careful about these kinds of post because it will backfire to you since 'you KYC'd' for the site. It will really go bad if you don't think that is, or is your lawyer so stupid he did mention you to do this?

Point #3. I empathize with your story but to think you have to post it here, and in the very wrong section at that, it doesn't ring right in everyone's critical thinking here. Smiley Plus the conclusion you have lol. How come it is not safe when the support just asked you to 'secure your account' haha. You make us laugh here.

TLDR; Go on and have a talk with your lawyer. HE KNOWS BETTER THAN YOU IN THIS KIND OF SITUATION.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][IC] INGOT COIN - BRIDGING MARKETS – AN ALL INCLUSIVE ECOSYSTEM on: October 24, 2018, 05:48:36 PM
Well, it's hard to say what will the price be after listing on some exchanges. But considering current situation on market, I'm afraid that INGOT tokens price could be lower then it was on ICO.

It's not difficult to predict what will happen. The price will be lower than its ICO price. This is what is happening to all of the recent ICOs.
If by the time the trading starts the market situation does not change for the better, it is likely to be so

And it all comes down to the price of the number 1 coin in the market. If BTC doesn't at least go up to 10,000$, you can't see anything good until the end of the year for the ICOs that happened this year, even self drops too. Now Ingot Coin won't be 'exempted from this'.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Data is the new oil energy source on: October 23, 2018, 03:27:50 PM
More and more people are realizing how powerful data is and need to be protected. Data is the new oil, and companies like FB and amazon are the new petrodollar oil champions in the world. Fortunately, blockchain provides a reliable way to break these islands of data and create a world in which data can be liberated by sharing data while still maintaining the same ledger or its original ownership, allowing creators to be rewarded.

The thing about 'data should be protected' is a bit of an understatement. We have been using different social sites and all they do is sell them to other people. Our birthdays, other personal info. Just that there have been a lot of restrictions lately in the first world countries that it affected the third world ones in cases of protecting such data. Even youtube does that. What do you think of the ads there just randomly popping out of each video you view? The 'sponsored ads' you see on facebook too.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY on: October 22, 2018, 07:12:37 AM
Blockchain technology is a very unique and beautiful program which was created today but I just realized it could be the solution for corruption which was happening all over the world. The Government works for the public right? So the public should be allowed to view what or where the money goes. It would be nice if we could view the public wallet or government funds and you can view each transactions. The blockchain transactions can be viewed publicly. We are paying taxes for the benefit of our country so it would be nice if this kind of technology will be implemented. What are your thoughts? Could this be possible or not?

PS: These are only my opinion, feel free to delete this thread if it's uninteresting subject. Also, feel free to delete this if someone already created similar topic about this.

View public wallet/government funds? It should be available for the public's view as far as I know as it is supposed to be mandated by the Constitution or it maybe not as for other countries I guess? As for my country, it is available for the public but nobody cares unless someone big time spends it on something it shouldn't be spent on.

Hi. I just have a question. I have my smartphone with me. Can I mine with this? (Xiaomi Mi Max) And will it be profitable or just plain stupidity? I don't want to ever destroy my device but I am really curious about it. I don't want my time wasted mining then I can't even have ROI. Thanks if anyone is answering this!
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ WePower - First GLOBAL blockchain for GREEN ENERGY future! ⚡ on: October 11, 2018, 12:06:42 PM
Hi guys. What can you say about the same kind of platform you guys have? What do you expect from them as they are in the same industry as yours? Will you be seeing partnerships with others just like what other people are doing right now? Would really be good if you guys can go and have partnerships here since we really have a harsh economy right now for cryptocurrency.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN][ICO] CrowdForce 👍 👍 👍 on: October 09, 2018, 03:07:33 PM
another 'job kind of project'. If I were to ask you guys, what makes you different from all those other projects we currently have? Like what can you really say about how your project will suffice everyone's expectation and not just become another stale project in the making? I have been quite interested in these kinds of ICOs but most of the time they are only good on ICO phase, otherwise they do nothing at all.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]|SWL| SWIFTLANCE: A Decentralised Outsourcing Platform on: October 09, 2018, 09:02:21 AM
So another selfdrop project e? What can you guys give as guarantee that you are no other bad projects that are frequently going after other people's money? How can we guarantee you guys are legit? Would really be a great thing if you guys can answer my question ^^
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Futures Bitcoin What Is The Use on: October 08, 2018, 12:02:47 PM
After reading all the 'informative comments' to this post, now I get what these futures are and what they do. They do affect bitcoin's price every now and then and has made every other altcoin move with them.

I tried to understand the essence and benefits of futures trading BTC
Futures on bitcoin will be traded next week. People who for the last few years constantly trying to convince everyone around that bitcoin is a bubble, must be happy: now they can finally move from words to deeds and begin shorting. But are they right?

Future (futures contract) — a derivative financial instrument, the standard urgent exchange contract of purchase and sale of the underlying asset at the conclusion of which the parties (seller and buyer) agree only on the price level and delivery time.

Craig Pirrong, Professor of business at the University of Houston says:

"Futures largely simplify the game to decrease than to increase, so that the majority of them, apparently, will benefit the bears. Therefore, the appearance of such a tool can reduce the cost of bitcoin".

How is shorting, I have studied the example on the stock market.
EXAMPLE. The investor can borrow paper, say 1 BTC, mind you, he takes not the money. The point is that he took 1 BTC for 16,000 thousand dollars. Sold it for 20,000 Then periscopes for 16 again. Gave ficers 1 BTC back but he got a profit of 4 thousand dollars (0.25 btc). So it will work

However, the futures will simplify the game to increase. The process of acquisition and storage of bitcoins is extremely unpleasant for many investors: you either have to worry about the fact that they are not stolen, or stored on paper, making them difficult to use as trading assets.

A substantial simplification of the process will increase the number of people wishing to open short positions, but those who play on the rise, so much so that their number will grow much faster.

Lou Kerner, partner Flight VC, a venture Fund investing in cryptocurrency. "we believe that from the point of view of fundamental non-market factors-such asset is quite reliable, but they tend to sell out".

Investors with big money still do not really believe in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. All now wait for the futures I thought of what awaits us after this still greater growth. But now I'm not sure. I think now all that is left us is to wait and see how the market will behave.

I hope the article was useful

Ofcourse the real purpose of cryptocurrency is for the global payment all over the world.
But people nowdays just usi it as a trading thing just like comodity.

Some of them treat it like forex though. Smiley
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance success on: October 07, 2018, 08:19:02 AM
I am using binance as a result of delays on Coinbase and other exchanges in getting verified. Is this the reason Binance is so successful?
What is actually the main reason?
It seems that Binance was founded in 2017 and by 2018 it became the most successful exchange. Coinbase was founded in 2012 and Kraken in 2011 yet they failed to achieve what Binance has achieved.
From a business point of view, what is the reason Binance achieved so much?

There are a lot of reasons why Binance is successful. Number one is that it is a very much anticipated secured exchange. All hacking attempts that happened inside it were given much thought on planning on how to solve it. The CEO is very hands-on on what to do about different things and they follow Chinese regulations. They do not let them be affected by any other things that are against the law. And number two for me is that they have less fees than any other exchanges out there.
319  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price is falling down on: October 06, 2018, 11:58:23 PM
Maraming dahilan bat ganyan presyo ng bitcoin and other altcoins.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really driven by individuals? on: October 06, 2018, 12:09:10 PM
Bitcoin is seen as a currency that is not regulated by any institute. It does not generate any revenue and therefore, has a zero minimal value. What then brings about its value and drives it as well?

I believe there are a lot of answers to such question but as for me, I believe the people who have faith in bitcoin and other altcoins drives its price up and down. If more people learn of it and how to use it, the price will go up. Given there is FUD, the price is down. Most of these are driven by a group of people most of the time because they want new entries to the markets. Smiley
