261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚍🚍[ANN][ICO] Travelvee - Innovative Booking Platform! ✅✅ on: December 05, 2018, 02:09:53 PM
So another travel-related kind of ICO? Well just want to check your project guys. Looks promising but what is your advantage over other platform which offers the same services?
Do you guys have an AMA on Reddit? Would be really awesome to ask some questions about the project.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption on: December 05, 2018, 09:51:42 AM
If Cryptocurrency gets generally adopted today, I think government and stakehoders  would eventually come up with ways through which tax can be collected.
And also a way to stop the use of Cryptocurrency for scam purposes, pyramids and ponzis.
There is always a way.

There is always a way of course. The government of each countries which holds ICO are almost strict and doesn't want to hinder these projects but would want to protect these investors from the scam, pyramids, and ponzi schemes. Sad that most of these was also used as reasons to scam people.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: The best time to invest is now. on: December 05, 2018, 01:06:34 AM
to invest in the long term indeed now is the time while the price of bitcoin goes down ... you will benefit when the price of bitcoin rises only requires patience

The best time to invest is when the price are dropping.

We don't know how long will the prices will fall, it might take a week, a month or a year but we can't be dependent on what is happening, we should focus on what should happen in the future. As an investors we should look forward, this is a great time to invest as we might not see the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in these prices.

Well the prices did fall. Would we expect a $1000 bitcoin after this drop from $3000? I think its a yes and a no. Whales wouldn't go so much as to letting bitcoin go down as $1000 after the debut of 2017s $16000 right? But what can we expect is that they would manipulate the market until its all about them and none of the fakes and scams ongoing right now.
264  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Explanations of pure scam: 65,000 USD stolen by HitBTC on: December 04, 2018, 10:20:23 AM
If you like to live dangerously, we have an excellent option for you: try HitBTC. Or don't. But first, check out our story about them😳🔔
https://shitcoinoffering.com/hitbtc-exchange-mcafee-tolls/

I have read your article. Good read. I have an account. I also hate how you should deposit some ETH just to place your orders like they were sure no one is going to buy the coins listed there.

It's a small amount but big enough to purposefully send some transactions on the blockchain. But with all the accusations and the owners' identities unknown, nothing is gonna change. People in crypto should just stop trading there and boycott the whole exchange.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: G20 & CRYPTOCURRENCIES on: December 04, 2018, 04:13:24 AM
We will regulate crypto-assets for anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism in line with FATF standards and we will consider other responses as needed.

Again, it has been defined as "crypto-assets", but the good thing is that there is an openness to getting to know this technology, although I doubt that there will be any control unless trading in the central platforms is often on the total number of currencies as well as the difficulty of mining.

We will continue to work together to seek a consensus-based solution to address the impacts of the digitization of the economy on the international tax system with an update in 2019 and a final report in 2020.

Perhaps this date has a constructive meaning, as I mentioned above [difficulty of mining].

and finally
“Crypto-assets do, however, raise issues with respect to consumer and investor protection, market integrity, tax evasion, money laundering, and terrorist financing,” the report read. “Crypto-assets lack the key attributes of sovereign currencies. While crypto-assets do not at this point pose a global financial stability risk, we remain vigilant.

What are your ideas?

Well, what I think is that they are actually correct especially on the terrorist financing. Cointelegraph has his article on this.

However, while al-Qaeda, the Islamic State, and other terrorist groups have all attempted to raise funds through crypto, they have not had great success, as Congress concluded in the meeting.

Tax evasion is a big sin for every citizen especially if you're making lots of income and you don't pay the price for that and you don't help your country at all.

LINK: https://www.coininsider.com/cryptocurrency-tax-evasion/ ( dated 4/2018)

Quote
Earlier this month one Reddit user found himself in the position of needing to pay more in tax than he had made through trading. He wrote, “I owe the IRS $50k that I don’t have, because I traded in cryptos. Am I fucked?”

And lastly - protection of investors. We all know how many people are scammed with some big ICOs that occurred with great hype and went away with all the money they collected. They call it exit scams right?

267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN-ICO]MODULE-Cryptoeconomic ecosystem on a decentralized file storage network on: December 03, 2018, 09:54:21 AM

It would be ideal if the team could address issues such as bounty distribution, community management and development updates such that they could pose a negative image about the project yet in spite of those, I still believe on this promising project hoping they could pull their act together to resolve minor issues such as this. Imho.

At the moment they are focusing on completing the distribution of tokens for investor and Bounty.
When all this has completed,They will certainly soon provide updates on project development.
And for Bounty it seems that they have announced that bounty tokens will be distributed by December, 7.

woah. Isn't that one of the good news we have here. I hope to receive my bounty tokens before December 7 then. Smiley I agree that they need such development updates. Most of the investor nowadays drop the token right after ICO if the team has no progress at all.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC and the Alts be easier to manipulate now on: December 03, 2018, 08:57:34 AM
To manipulate the price of bitcoin and cryptocurrency will be more and more difficult in the future. Now the price of bitcon is very low, but I think that whales will lower it even lower soon. I can not say that this is due only to manipulation, perhaps this is due to the fact that many investors exit bitcoin due to fear of losing the remaining money.
Those who sell off an asset because they "fear" are not investors or deserve to be called so. A real investor putting in their money into a project would do research and look at the market risks associated with it before investing. So when the market drops they would still hold their coins and not sell at a loss.

Whales are not predictable as to what they are planning. While one whale may be trying to dump another might pump and the market might see a net growth or fall. Altcoins are dropping as btc is dropping which is nothing new but keep an eye out on the gainers in the bear market - those are coins you would never want to enter if the growth is a pumped one.

I agree with what you said, sir. They don't deserve to be called investors if all they do is buy then pump and dump. That is even illegal in some countries. Its an act of fraud and I believe the current projects that are too late on the crypto bubble are doing this to scam people. It is not about "hodling" anymore. You have to really strategize in this field or you will lose real money.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ADAB - First Islamic Crypto Exchange, based on the Shariah norms on: December 01, 2018, 11:59:05 PM
Yes, this is the first such product, but I think that is not the last. similar projects will appear after they see it being popular
Yes, from this point of view Adab has advantage, they have like a year to prove their assumption regarding demand of islamic crypto exchange
Year or more, it is not so important. More importantly, such big bonuses can greatly lower the price of the token in the future.

As long as I remember, prices of tokens depend on the community's demand not on how much bonuses they were offered in Initial Coin Offerings and Token Sales right? If nobody wants to buy the token, you'll see bulk buy orders of who believe in the project and wants to hold the tokens.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why HODLers now pray for banks and institutions to enter if Bitcoin... on: December 01, 2018, 03:03:26 PM
It might be because they believe that mass adoption will increase demand, thus increasing it's price. Sad to say, it doesn't work that way here.

Here in cryptospace, if you do not have a solid community to believe in you. If the community doesn't believe in you, you won't make a profit.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: US Threatens SWIFT With Sanctions If Iran Isn't Cut Off on: December 01, 2018, 11:50:44 AM
RANTING ON US AHEAD, DON'T PROCEED IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED BY FACTS!

US onto its bullying game once again. The threats have reached a point where it is not making much of a difference to the world. They have challenged the world and dictated their terms for quite long. Forcing countries to stop buying crude, stopping trade with countries. Just because the dollar is the global currency, US has got off with a lot of blackmailing in the past.

Things are changing and countries are dumping US securities and dollars in exchange of Gold. The Bretton-Woods agreement on the money supply looks like it is in real danger zone. And the only country to blame is US. They have abused their power and position for long. Used SWIFT gateway to forbid trade and blackmail countries.

Cryptocurrencies and blockchain give a real potential to the world in terms of introducing a truly global currency that is not manipulated and controlled by a group. That can not be held ransom to on the whims and fancies of US.

The coming years are going to be very interesting. I am already loving the way other countries are challenging the status-quo of US. In a month, my country refused to follow sanction by US on Iran, Russia and signed big deals in regards to Oil import, Arms acquisition, port setup etc. US needs to understand that the present global order is multi-polar and the relations between any two countries are dictated by mutual benefit and not by US.
The current international image of the United States is already very bad. Iran should not be sanctioned. It is wrong for the United States to ban Iran from selling crude oil. The news of crude oil is now widely recognized. Crude oil resources are now close to infinity and cannot be bullied by crude oil control around the world! Every citizen of every country has human rights, and I oppose this!

Not a really new story or a recent issue. They have done that bullying ever since they destroyed Iran in their "war" even before that. They have always been "keen" on what other third world country and what  businesses in their countries do. We can't do anything bout that unless SWIFT moves their location to another "accepting country".
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom is in !! on: November 30, 2018, 12:59:39 PM
We've reached the bottom right now and I hope we can see something other than the bottom because we can all see how 2018 is a year of downs and bottoms. Let it rise even if its the end of the year, just never let it get down to the level everything isn't of value right now.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption on: November 30, 2018, 10:10:54 AM
TAXES! this is why government dont like cryptocurrency.
As it is very hard to get the transaction details and people can overcome the tax law.
How can a country survive and develop their mainland if there will be no taxes, nor enough taxes to collect?
We are living in crypto whose the transaction are not traceable to whom and from who the money from!
It’s good to pay taxes, but in a country where the government is very corrupt, the taxes you’re paying will make no sense because those in power will keep on with embezzling public funds and make away with it and there will still be nothing done against them. I’m not going to mention names of countries, but I think one of the reasons some people like Bitcoin is because their government is corrupt.

But we all know that nevertheless they embezzle the funds, they also make it worth for some citizens. Public projects are seen but you know there are lots the country needs. Paying taxes is one of paying the ones serving you food, serving you on your municipal halls. Basically, taxes SHOULD GO BACK TO YOU. If not, there's something wrong about what your government do.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 📢📢[Airdrop] AVGL Token - $50000 Rewards for first 1K Participants. 📢📢 on: November 30, 2018, 07:52:32 AM
So do you plan on anything right now? Like posting an ANN here or whatsoever just to inform people what AVGL is? How would everyone know your project is legit enough and not just collecting information from the accounts here? Just wondering because we all know that selfdrops and airdrops are almost a thing of the past right now because of the current market situation.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Determining A ShitCoin on: November 28, 2018, 11:53:22 PM
I decided to read this post because I wanted to see what other people really thought about crypto projects these days.

I for one distinguish early on whether a coin is legit or 'shitcoin' these days from the initial review, But what saddens me and makes me second guess my self is how these 'shitcoins' can somehow survive, then become semi valuable on exchanges. I always see coins with no real world use earn a real value and I am sometimes scratching my head on how people think this project is going to become something in the crypto space.
because many of those projects were just relying on their fake advertisement and creating hype to enter the crypto market without developing their real product. This is obvious but people were buying on it and I don't know in the long run if they will survive.

Yeah, I agree with you. They rely on fake advertisements such as being listed in exchanges such as "M*&(DAJDLF" lol like it was Bittrex or any other greater exchanges. One thing I look at is the admin activity after the ICO. If they don't at least communicate with the community after that, it's automatically a shitcoin. Nobody buys a worthless crypto with no real team updates.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] CargoCoin - Blockchaining Logistics on: November 28, 2018, 10:42:06 PM
It's been a while and few days have passed since we didn't hear or read any news and announcements from the team. I wonder what are they doing as of now. Perhaps, they need to do something that can make this community alive again inorder to continue in promoting this project in various sites.
What news specifically do you want to get now? I was reached by information that many new projects cannot raise any funds at all.

Yeah cause the initial "wave" of the crypto hype has now died down and the bubble has burst. Now it's gonna be a slow and steady rise if anything so people are more apprehensive to throw money at ICOs

I think so too. If the team raised that 5million cap right now, how much would it have died down, I wonder? Did they promise some kind of assurance to peg the investors 5million USD to what ETH price?
Would be really great to hear some updates from the team since most of the comments here say so.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: November 28, 2018, 10:37:37 PM
The future of cryptocurrency is not base on crypto cycles but base on community. Without supporters nothing will demands of crypto. The progress depends of everyone's who supports and invest cryptocurrency either money, time, efforts. We shape crypto and crypto is slowly shaping our humanities culture of trading and transactions.

I agree with you on this. As long as people are still into cryptocurrency, everybody should calm themselves. It is entirely based on the community that is supporting them. Basically, the equation looks like this.

Cryptocurrency = Community + Investments. If no one is interested on investing on a project, you gain no community which will give no cryptocurrency at that.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC and the Alts be easier to manipulate now on: November 28, 2018, 03:36:19 AM

That so much capital left the market? Market cap was $220 billion 3 weeks ago. Today, we are barely holding on to $125 billion market cap. How much lower can btc go in price? 3k, 2k, 1k?

I don't feel like it's dead, but I feel like it is a lot more vulnerable than it was prior to a month ago, and I am not certain about a recovery any time soon.

2018 is a year of manipulation because of 2017's skyrocketing Bitcoin and Altcoin prices. It happened before, and it will always happen. Number 1 reason I see is that the market doesn't need too much filthy coins, if you know what I mean. Its a fit year for survival because we all know how many scams have already happened. And last but not the least, we should only see the trend last year. It won't be long till it rises but do not expect too much.
279  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex FRAUD and SCAM, defrauded me for $20k on: November 27, 2018, 01:18:03 PM
Hi,

I deposited 180BCH to Bittrex after latest BCH fork, and due to no replay protection in that chain, Bittrex received 180BSV(forked coin) to their deposit address, which they refuse to recover / credit for us. They intensionally made it that way because they knew that chain is vulnerable.

Other reputable exchanges, like Kraken, took extra measured and provided SAME deposit address for both BCH and BSH, so users would get both coins on their platform even if the other coin was sent by a mistake due to no replay protection on the chain.

I suspect they will cash our millions of dollars of customer funds this way. Their policy on this(last BSV part was added AFTER I and many others deposited) - https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000961172-Bittrex-s-Crosschain-Recovery-Policy

I have contacted several USA attorneys to assist with the case and waiting for replies. I will not let those half-retards at Bittrex have my money. If you know anyone who they defrauded that way let me know, they may be willing to join the lawsuit and reduce costs in total.

Also, if you hold any personal information about Bittrex owners like personal address or so, please let me know by PM and I am willing to reward such information or anything that can help me get my money back and put those retards where they belong.

Thanks

I don't know anything about this but if you already knew that Kraken would do something like what Bitrex did not do, why bother going to Bitrex? Something's not right there. Just my opinion though. Anyway, good luck with the lawsuit you're pursuing.
280  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga Tips Ni Crypto Jhin Para Makakuha Nang Merits ;D on: November 27, 2018, 10:58:00 AM
Magandang tips kaso pag talagang halimbawa hindi ka naman kilala or somewhat mababaw lang info mo sa crypto, wala ka magagawa kundi mangapa sa umpisa. Tipong doing your own research is always a must. Pwede ka rin mag expose ng scam ICOs na andito. Make sure mo lang na tama lahat ng info mo and may back up evidence ka to prove so. Yun yung madalas kong nakikita tlagang may naeearn na merits.
