I was expecting announcement regarding Android based app from tachain team. It's October now and Android users are waiting for Tachain app.
Yeah, I can't really wait for it specially they will going to launch here first in our country. I really want to try their services and how good watching ads in exchange of Tachain tokens too. I guess we will be waiting for you to give us a feedback concerning your experience in the end. It's relieving to have someone from Philippine on this thread. I look forward to getting first hand feedback  I think Tachain will start the services after ICO if over. So that will be in 2019 not in 2018. But meanwhile they can at least launch apps. really? I thought they would start in Manila in October. The information on this point seems very contradictory. I hope they will publish an exact statement soon No article or publications yet to that effect but CEO made it clear to me on PM that the bulk of the Tachain services will kick off next year after ICO end That's a great news! Actually a smart move That is correct, we made the decision to sell the remaining Public Sale tokens directly from the exchange. This will not affect the handful of current investors, as they will be rewarded through the referral bounty if it is applicable to them. Selling tokens directly from the exchange will allow the rest of our community to take part in the token sale as well. This will be especially for countries like USA, who cannot take part in normal ICO purchases. Also, selling tokens directly will NOT kill the project as some you might think. I like the idea that Securix cloud mining is based in a token system that has a reward system where token holders are paid monthly. Even if the market is bearish, token holders wouldn't have to worry because the company has a reserve of profits to maintain the system.
The only problem would come if they cant sustain making profit for month after month. That reserve pot can't last forever, so they will have to hope the markets recovers quickly everytime |

Its quite a unique one and can be competitive because they got two solid niches in one brand but they are both profitable. Interesting concept behind the project and being able to make some money whilst travelling is a very cool and attractive idea.
yeah, they have a very cool idea and coupled with the fact that they are trying to use blockchain to solve this problem I believe they would really go a long way Is there any other blockchain taxi companies that Tachain will have to compete with? I know their focus is advertisements but I would like to see what their competition is so I can make a comparison. I don’t think theirs either an advertising or taxi on the blockchain group they really have to be worried about competing against or atleast none I’m aware of I for one haven't seen any what you would consider direct rivals. If Tachain becomes a success I'm sure they'll have some then but would have stolen a march on them |

The closed sale should have ended yesterday; I wonder how much has been raised so far. The site might need an update given it is showing -1 days. Was there a counter on the site?
I've checked with the team; they will be released that information as soon as possible. The amount raised I mean. I was hoping it was a live counter but I think because they were accepting different currencies they needed to that manually. Guy's, something is wrong with the website? Because showing Closed sale ends in80 day's and as I remember before two day's I saw it will ends in 1 day. I just checked too and it's showing 80 days and some minutes. Was there any form of extension news or something? I don't think that's an error on the website. That's got to be intentional Yeah there is an extension of ICO.. Ico ends December 31st according to current information That's a fair old extension. Hopefully it allows the market to recover, people to gin some trust again and Tachain to hit their targets. |

Good question When we were thinking of a good name that fits our goal and ambitions we looked and made up so many names. Some good.... some not so good haha. Here is the original word in latin: Securus It means free from care, untroubled, safe, careless, unconcerned In a brainstorm session, we made it to securix Take care Jac Donkersloot Never ever stopped for a second to think what your name could mean. lol. I like it though and great to see it come from a latin word originally which fitted your visions. |

Definitely, they have always been active on the telegram side of things and are really fast to respond which is really great and shows they are really trying to keep their community happy and informed which is so important at this stage in the project

I have checked some pages of this thread and I now know what happened in last 10 days or so. There are no major events. But it seems team extended ICO end date.
Now almost all projects extend the dates of the ICO. Everyone hopes that the green market will come, and the money will flow like a river))  Lol I’m being pretty patient I kind of like the stability that seems to be developing on the market I mean the current rates seem pretty solid to me So what exactly last date of ICO now? They given any reason that why they want to postpone ICO? i think it'll end with this year, i mean 31st Dec! and with this dull market its hard to get any investor! so that's the reason of extension! That's may be true but in this bear market investors have opportunity to get ETH/BTC in cheap price and invest in ICO. That's my personal opinion. Investment goes in different ways. Some will want to hold the eth or btc as it will likely yield more profit than investing in ICO, that is for those who invest for profits though. I have to tend to agree with this. I can see both sides of it personally and you have to remember not everyone trades on the same strategy. |

Wow. Was hearing about them reaching the softcap, is this news authentic? If true they really have a lot of people behind their back hoping for them to succeed. Is that true that token sale is ending in 8 days from now? I thought its just this phase of the ICO with this bonus. Token sales will continue with less bonus as far as I know. I guess he is talking about currently running phase of sale. By the way, 20% bonus is also good offer in this phase. I don't get it. How can they still be talking about 20% bonus at this time of their sales period when their sales road map says this "7.5% Oct 08 - Oct 15 SRXIO 5000000"  I think a real website update is highly needed. Your definitely not wrong they could definitely need to update the website to make sure the reality that is currently ongoing is what is the case on the site that way people aren't confused as it ends up looking unprofessional, unless its just not explaining well well you're right! they need to update their website everytime a token is sold! that helps investors and community with the details they seek! and keeps thing transparent between us! Team been responding to questions is all I can say. ICO up still Dec 31... The telegram group should be a great place to find out more update. I have checked some pages of this thread and I now know what happened in last 10 days or so. There are no major events. But it seems team extended ICO end date. Yes, they extended the Tachain token sale a few weeks ago because they need to raise more funds. This is why the end date has been pushed back to the end of this year. That was it. I remember the project being extended due to more funds being needed but couldn't remember the details around it. |

Fees will probably be an huge part of people’s decision beyond just the security of the escrow service which should be most important but fees will definitly be a huge part of it
Fair point, this isn't being offered for free. Security is a huge aspect but many of the leading sites etc do not operate in Escrow. Whilst it adds another layer of security, fees will be crucial |

On the dispute resolution, I see that there’s a cost for that. An additional 3% transaction cost of there’s a dispute. I think that’s a lot. Especially when the the compliant isn’t at fault. I understand thats to reduce unnecessary compliant. Would this cost be adjusted?
That's a fair point, especially if large sums, 3% is a lot! If I made a claim and I wasn't at fault I'd be annoyed to lose 3% of my money for that, surely the losing party should cough up the 3%? We have been working on this strategy lately and yes the person at fault will essentially be liable for the 3%. We have also been working on a different strategy where both parties pay an insurance "deposit" amount. This amount will be used to pay the additional 3% and/or any fees. The person not at fault will receive all their money back. This strategy is still a work in progress and has not been confirmed yet. It's good to see you're looking at different options for the coverage of fees and are prepared to listen and review based on community feedback. |
