Honestly, I dislike the field of ICO's especially in this era (period) due to there are many scammers and cheaters, and regrettably, they (scammers) like that field because many people are easily fooled, that's why they make the scam ICO's in order to guarantee a large profit and even without any financial losses at first.
In fact, everyone must be careful before starting in ICO, and in my opinion, if you do not have any knowledge in that field, then you must stay away from it, because there is a great possibility that you will lose you money. Plus, do not be greedy because of the fake value of Airdrops and do not rush for making decisions.

Well, despite that SiaCoin ranked 30 on the market, but I think that this currency is profitable because it has an acceptable value of market cap (more than 350 Million dollars) and their current price is pretty low ($ 0.01) compared to other cryptocurrencies. In fact, this digital currency is appropriate for a long term investment through a large proportion of money, because it is expected that Siacoin will rise to the moon after a few years ( 1-3) and IMO I think that making the  risk through this coin  is perfect in order to earn a large amount of money especially a long period of time.
As a matter of fact, it is certain that Siacoin is linked to Bitcoin, so when Bitcoin will rise with a good value ( more than   $ 10K ) then it is expected that Siacoin will reach 0.05 or more. So  you must invest in Siacoin and wait the the good surprise (few years ) . 

In general, it is certain that the fall of Ethereum is related for what happened to Bitcoin ( crisis ) and until now, nothing important has been achieved and  on the contrary, the situation has worsened, and unfortunately, the current  price of Ethereum in a total decline.
Furthermore, IMO it is difficult that this big drop will end soon (few days), maybe it will last for few months. So we must deal with this bad event in a good way like, investing a large amount in Ethereum, because it is expected that after some period, the market will return to the rise.

On the other hand, I think that everything is related to the decision of the whales, because they manipulate and control the entire market. Plus, I guess that when the price will decrease to less than $ 5000 and  Ethereum to $ 300, then the whales will make a big pump on the market, and after that Bitcoin will rise in a fast way and it will reach to more then 12K and Ethereum to $ 1200 or more.  

Seriously, I totally disagree with you OP, it is true that Dogecoin is exist on an acceptable rank (39) on the market, but there is a huge difference between Bitcoin and this currency in terms of every characteristic (Price, Market cap, Volume Circulating supply, users) and it is impossible that after a year or more your Dogecoin will be better than Bitcoin on the market. You have a wide imagination or dream dude.

On the other hand, I am pretty sure that Bitcoin will develop in the future and their success will continue in a good way, despite that there are many problems which led to this big crisis like, the attacks of the countries (governments) and other things. Plus, I expect that after after a few years there will a total recognition of Bitcoin, and for Dogecoin, I do not think that this currency will be profitable especially in a long term.

For me, it is sure that the market in a difficult situation during this period, due to the whales are always controlling the majority of cryptocurrencies, and they even manipulate the users of crypto through the fake news of the media. But I think that the end of this long period crisis is near (maybe just few months), and after that there will be good evolution (Big pump), so we must take advantage of this opportunity through making a good choice (buying, investing, buying) and we must avoid the rashness because they always lead to a huge financial loss.

Honestly, it is certain that all the market is linked to the evolution of Bitcoin, and IMO the weak point of a market is that issue (the cryptocurrencies are the followers of Bitcoin), that's why the whales can manipulate this market in an easy way, and the same thing for the governments, when they want to destroy the market, then the easiest way for that is just attacking Bitcoin.

Moreover, it is true that we waited a long period of time in hopes of a good development on the market, but unfortunately, nothing is important and good, and the continuation of crisis has always existed, for me we must just be patient  and HODL a large amount of money into the best cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ripple, Cardano..), and think this period is appropriate for investing especially in the long term, because there is a great possibility that this crisis will end after a few months.

In general, I do not really think that the altcoins  are better than Bitcoin in terms of advantages and characteristics, and the opposite is true. the profit in Bitcoin is guaranteed   and all the market is depends to the king ( bitcoin ), and the majority of altcoins are related to Bitcoin in every development, for example when there is a  big pump in bitcoin, then most of cryptocurrencies will rise too due to they are the followers.

On the other hand, it is certain that there are many profitable cryptocurrencies especially who exist on the top ranks (Top 20) on the market (like, Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano, Tron and more) but Bitcoin is always better than them in many characteristics (Value of market cap, price, volume, and even the users).

Well, it is normal that when there are some capitalists or whales (who have the biggest amount of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the market) then there is the manipulation, everyone wants to achieve his/her goal and unfortunately, the money is the weak point of many people. Furthermore, despite that this big crisis lasted for a long time, but I think that this bad manipulation and bad developments is temporary and it will last for some period and regrettably, we do not know when there will be a good evolution of the market, but we can give some prediction which can be true or not. So we must believe in Bitcoin and the cryptourrencies in general, and hope there will a good surprise soon.

In my opinion, if you are impatient, then the only appropriate decision for you is getting away from the field of cryptocurrencies, because I do not think that you will make an acceptable profit and even if the crisis will end, and the market will return to the rise. Believe me, patience is the key of success in the field of trading. Furthermore, I advise you to avoid the information and fake predictions of the media, because they can manipulate you easy, if you believe them. Trust me, the countries (governments) are who control the media in order to achieve their goals.

Plus, the bad attempts of governments in order to destroy Bitcoin, because when the king will disappear, then all the followers (cryptocurrencies) will disappear too.

In general, we must accept the truth or reality (the continuation of crisis in 2018), and deal with this bad event in a smart way. Furthermore, it is unfortunate that the majority of users are pessimistic because of this big drop and they always make a bad decision because of the fear of what will happen in the near future and regrettably, these always leads to financial losses.

On the other hand, I expect that this collective crisis in the market will continue for some period and maybe it will end after some months, and hope for just a few weeks, and despite that this is the worst year for Bitcoin in terms of the continuation big drop and bad statistics, but I am sure that after this crisis there will good development and Bitcoin will return the to increase with acceptable PUMP, and I think at the end of this year the price of Bitcoinn will reach $ 18K again.

Honestly, I am against investing in ICO's because simply, there are many scammers in that field ( Scam ICO's ) and the majority of them are unprofitable  ( more than 80% )  especially when the ICO will be  on the exchange, and then there will a be a big fall in the price of Token. So making a large proportion of money in ICO is difficult and very risky due there are many scam ICO's, but when you are professional in that field, you can choose the appropriate one for the good profit.

As a matter of fact, I saw that there are many people starting in that field without any knowledge of the basics of this area, that's why they always lose their budget of money because of their rashness and greeds. Everyone must know that Knowledge is potential power.

Well, I think that there are many obstacles against Bitcoin like, the attacks of the governments and the control of the whales on the market and other problems. Otherwise, the truth of what will happen in the future on Bitcoin is unexpected, but I expect that after this widespread drop in Bitcoin and the whole market, there will be a good development in cryptcourrencies especially when Bitcoin will reach more than 12K.

Why not? , everything is possible, maybe these two best cryptocurrencies ( Bitcoin and Ethereum ) will rise in the near future ( after the end of World cup ) and maybe the opposite will be achieved and the crisis will continue. In addition to that, I Believe in Bitcoin and I am pretty that this coin will overcome all the problems and the attacks especially by few governments.

In fact, if you want a guarantee profit, especially in a long term (because there is a big dip in this period), then the only decision is the HODL all your budget in best profitable cryptocurrencies in the market (like, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Ripple, Cardano, Tron...), and if you want to take the risk, then you can choose the day trading, and in reality, I do not recommend it, because it is expected that this big crisis will continue and it will last for some period.
In addition to that, I think that appropriate decision during this period, is choosing the long term trading, especially in cyptocurrencies who has a large value of Market and weak price and it is certain that the best example of that is Ripple (XRP).

In general, we must stop the pessimistic thinking and unfortunately, I saw this issue in many users of cryptocurrencies especially the beginners, In fact, we must expect better things, although the digital currencies in a difficult situation (big drop) but I expect that there will be a great development in the future, so we must take advantage of this unique opportunity through buying, Holding and even investing a large proportion of cryotucurrencies who has an acceptable characteristic (big value of market cap) and trust me, the weak price is not important when the value of the market cap is pretty huge .

In general, I think that McAfee made a logical choice because the majority of ICO is not profitable for investment (maybe 80%). Moreover, in this field, there are many scammers and unfortunately, the number of those cheaters is in high, especially in the last period, that's why many avoid choosing ICO for investment due to their fear of not earning money or because of the possibility of being a scam ICO, and the majority of them choose the cryptocurrencies (who exist on the market) for trading because simply, the profit in that field is guaranteed better than ICO's.
On the other hand, I advise everyone to avoid the information of the whales or capitalists ( like, McAfee ) because they can manipulate the user sof cryptocurrencies through some fake news or predictions in order to achieve their goals.

Honestly, in this period, Bitcoin in a difficult situation in terms of the continuing decline in their price (less than $ 6200) and the bad developments and events, like, the attacks of the governments through some bad attempts in order to destroy Bitcoin and the digital currencies in general and the whales (who have a big amount of Bitcoin and other) manipulation through the influence on the price of Bitcoin.

Well, I totally disagree with you OP, it is difficult to conclude through this news of the media that this is the end of ICO, because simply, the media are always manipulating people through some fake information, predictions and even news in order to achieve the interests or goals of the governments especially who want to destroy everything related to cryptocurrencies.

 IMO, the field of ICO will continue to succeed, and it will become of great value in the future and even better than that before, especially when the majority of big governments will recognize the cyeptcurrenies, and despite that in this period there are some problems but there must be time to resolve them (few months). In fact, the ICO can facilitate the success of every project, especially when it is related the era of Blockchain technology, so I do not think that the countries do not want to benefit from this field.

In my opinion, the risk is essential in the field of investment in order to get a large proportion of money, but unfortunately, many afraid of risk, that's why they cannot succeed in that area and even their profit is always small in value. In fact, due to there a widespread drop in the whole market, and many coins in a total decline, so I think this is the best opportunity to invest in some cryptocurrencies, and believe me, the big risk always lead to big gains.

So you can risk and invest through a big amount in a few cryptocurrencies which you think and believe that they will be very profitable in the future, and IMO, I advise you to choose IOST for a big investment, because despite that, this coin in the 56 ranks on the market, but it is in the best exchange (like, Binance) and I am pretty sure that this coin will have good future.

Plus, I think this is a perfect time to buy a big amount of cryptocurrencies especially for the best coin on the market (like, Ethereum and Bitcoin) because despite the difficult time and the bad events that occurred and led to the spread of a great fall but the profit in these two cryptcourrencies is  guaranteed especially in the middle and long term.
