I don't think hacking will increase solely due to the increase in price. Although a great incentive, $btc by design is tamper-proof. What you hear often is the social engineering to steal private keys or exchange related hacks that exploits other vulnerabilities.

I had to reset my device and lost my 2FA with GA. Now I am equally screwed. I am sure I backed it up somewhere but cant remember where. Any luck with the support ? I dont like the odds of 50/50

Correct me if I'm wrong, I have seen some services that act as a middle man to do the same. I understand its not ideal, but at least it works everywhere VISA/MasterCard is accepted.

Market 80% of the time buys the rumor and sells the news. Do not co-relate with the current dump to not-so-happy investors. We will only know the true sentiment after a while. In my opinion any payment adoption by any industry (Btw, Porn is $100 billion industry by 2020) is good for crypto. Should not FUD simply because you hate a particular coin. And I agree to the fact that this partnership could be actually 'bought' with the funds they raised. Which in my opinion is not sustainable. Overall I think this is good for the entire crypto provided verge blockchain remain secure and no more loopholes are exploited publicly.

Check Spir.ai . It helps me do a lot of analysis and suggests what the trend is.

The battle that needs fought now (again, imo) is adoption of the lightning network. It's a drastic change from the benefits provided by segwit, which was more about fixing transaction malleability. If we could only fight one more battle, and it had to be raise the block size or get people to move over to the lightning network, the latter is going to work for a lot longer than the former. Because it's important which battles we choose here, because people will quickly get tired of needing to make changes to use Bitcoin.
Can't agree more with this. What we need to do is education and awareness on what exactly LN is. OP itself thinks Lightning Network increases fees. All the transactions occur off-chain and once the payment channel is closed you settle it in the main chain. It is similar to how you open a debt account in the local grocery store where lets say the paper that records your debt is stored in a box with two padlocks and each of you has the key.

Do not panic sell at the current price. It will hit you hard. Have a stop loss order so that your investments +atleast 20% of your profit (all that hard work of staying up late, following news, charting, analyzing , reading whitepapers). Slowly sell portion by portion to recover your investment and then just trade with your profits that way you are fine.

I prefer C. I might increase BTC by 5%.
|
|
|
Given the recent price surge, how many BTC do you expect now?
|
|
|
I am very concerned about the recent surges. Lot of corrections are pending. Proceed with caution guys. I personally would like to see $BTC correct itself and stabilize before spearing ahead.

I would like to trade in crypto currency. But I dont have good idea about it.And also I know about signals.
1.How it comes from? 2.what extent can we trust them? 3.Is there any way to generate them?
If some one good at this please mention about this.
To answer your briefly: 1) It is a digital asset and each cryptocurrency is different in its origin. Some of them are "mined" and some of them are pre-mined. There could be a limit or hard cap to the total supply. You need to understand at first what blockchain is, then what a cryptocurrency is and then indulge in trading. This is important so that you dont get fooled. 2) You can 100% trust it in terms of any transaction as the technology underneath ensures it. In terms of trading, it is suspectible to all the flaws and risks including being the fact it is a bubble and it might burst. Different people have different opinion about this. Always remember by having a bitcoin you are having a currency, it is not a commodity or share to the company. In the physical world, some stores do accept bitcoin and some other crypto but is really really low. 3. Yes, Look at Q1. If a coin is mineable, you can mine to generate them by sacrificing your electricity cost. Remember, Bitcoin and likes of it cannot be profitably mined from your typical laptop.

My suggestion to any one in #crypto trading is to have your own target profits. Do not listen to others blindly. Do your own research and have your own targets. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY STICK TO IT.

I made the mistake of selling it early. And I waited for too long to drop. THanks to Chinese ban it dropped to a level that I could somehow afford a little. Now not planning to sell it anytime soon.

I wish to take part in this. I am from Singapore, but currently in Middle East for a project. Therefore I would want to test it from Middle East perspective. I often travel to Singapore and Australia. I have experience in transacting BTC, ETH and has extensive experience in trading. I am also a hobbyist developer (not blockchain), and would love to give meaningful reports. I have an android and iphone. I somehow wish I become part of your development team. My intention is to learn and contribute. You can find my twitter account at twitter.com/analyststins
