I don't think hacking will increase solely due to the increase in price. Although a great incentive, $btc by design is tamper-proof. What you hear often is the social engineering to steal private keys or exchange related hacks that exploits other vulnerabilities.

Everything is possible, since big news will spread if the value will rise high to that level, and with your assumptions things is very possible as even the value is not more than $10k many issues with hacking and criminalizations are already there, needs to be very furios to protect yourself and your assets
so if ever this will happened along the way.

I am not sure whether the governments will allow such a scenario. At $1 million per coin, Bitcoin alone will be having a market cap of around $18 trillion. Will the governments be comfortable with that much wealth locked up in a decentralized asset, over which they have no control? It is realistic to think that they will attempt to destroy BTC much before such a level could be attained.

If bitcoin hits 100K USD, I think there will be a panic in nonbeliever that they did not buy on time. Hackers will be more interest in the bitcoin to hack more exchange, we may see more hacking news than now. Personally, I want to see BTC at 50K USD, not 100K! Because to mainatain, a safe and peaceful ecosystem,  100K USD price seems very high! Though BTC price can even go to the 500K USD in the future!

It would be a great record in the crypto industry to see bitcoin reach such heights. But if it hits such a price Ethereum could be work over $100k and many other major currencies would also rises. These are all speculation so please do your own research about the long term of bitcoin before you invest any tiny amount of money.

I believe that Ethereum could even rise to a higher price when Bitcoin reaches the million. I really like both and they seem for me like they will survive whatever storm comes into their way and stay around for a good while.

When it's about the others i do believe that practically all are a waste of time in the long term(If the ones i saw so far). Also, of course it's speculation but it is definitely one standing on a pretty solid ground and the one most likely to happen.

yes, I believe the drama of the exchange site hack will continue to happen, but for $ 1,000,000 I think it's too fast to grow in the near future, well if the government will interfere I think YES, at least bitcoin has been legalized in all countries

Amazingly governments started giving it a wild eye ,
People tried getting their hands on Bitcoins howsoever possible,
Not only the good but the bad things also started happening with Bitcoins ,

It started getting used to hide away taxes is multiple accounts, do illegal activities and all , and after a while when price was normal people started backlashing it because of such fall.
I don't think people will take this in a good way , essentially people who are involved in it are the only ones getting benefited .

Why do you have to think of unwanted scenarios when Bitcoin increased to $ 1,000,000 ?. Instead, people can set a much better perspective!
Agree with you that the high value of crypto is a means for bad organizations to take advantage of exchange. High value means it is more attractive to people, being hacked or appearing other vulnerabilities is inevitable.
On the positive side, however, it is clear that when Bitcoin reached $ 1 million for one dollar, its own capitalization was more than $ 21 trillion (in case all Bitcoin was created). So almost the common currency in the world will be Bitcoin always, and sure, anyone who holds Bitcoin or crypto (right now) will become a billionaire or at least be a millionaire. lol

Do you think any investor will hold his 1,000,000 USD in just one Bitcoin in a wallet which can be hacked at a go or can be depreciated in just a fraction of time. Bitcoin going above 50,000 is not even possible in the near future. The competition of new coins and other alternative coins to bitcoins is so much that bitcoin alone can rise to that level. And I am even worried what factors can make bitcoins get to 1million USD.

It will have a chance to become a world currency at 1 million. It will begin another chapter in the life of bitcoin and all other cryptos.
When people see that they can dump gold and all their hardware assets for bitcoin - a currency that is accepted anywhere they choose to travel.

Such value is still far from reality. But for the sake of discussion, I believe by the time it hits that amount, the adoption is already stronger and almost all people from all walks of life have their own possession of btc. I don't believe every person in the world will use BTC, today that is a lot of people who don't have credit cards or even a bank account, we are far from that
But I agree with you that this is far from reality, we have to do the math, all BTC worthing 1 million dollars each coin

I think this will be a big problem. This 1M price is very high, maybe the government will completely ban bitcoin, for fear of being hit by inflation. if 1000btc is converted to FIAT at the same time it won't make noise in a country.

I think that then there will be more millionaires  . The question is what will happen in the world at that moment. After all, under different circumstances, the current price of bitcoin will have a different effect.

If Bitcoin reaches $1,000,000 in the next 2 or 3 years, Fiat will crash, communications will crash, the economy will crash, Social Security and Medicare will crash, etc.

There will be worldwide chaos, but especially in the USA and Western Europe. People will die. Ultimately, the power grid and communications will crash. People will revert to at least Dark Ages living, but maybe all the way back to prehistoric style living.
