I voted the lowest option because I am convinced that there is an evil design to try to lower the price and speculate.

It's a bloodbath at the moment, with a clear intention to profit afterwards.

Have no fear and hodl.

maybe you are right about an evil design )

On what calculation bases have you come up with just two options? And why these two? I don't really know if the trend will continue for very long or it will end again soon, but I also don't think someone can predict a certain point of value where it will stop. It can go down to $2k, or rise up again to the same level where it stayed for a while, around $13-$14k. But I really want to know if there are any calculations or speculations you have considered before reaching to this conclusion.

I based my price projection 7600 BTC/USD on 2 theories:

1) We are now seeing the second (correction) wave (counting from the beginning of bitcoin).
2) The usual level when 2nd correction wave stops is 0,382% Fibonacci level (from 0 to 20000 in our case). So this level = about 7600 BTC/USD

But, because the first correction wave from 20 000 to 10 900 was so great, it is also possible that we will see some flat at the level 7600, followed by a slow increase to 10 000, and then we will see the final gap to the level of about 4700 BTC/USD. After that the 3rd great increase wave will be starting that bring the price much more above 20 000 btc/usd.

How can it be done here?

There are auto-calculation of votes in twitter's thread this why I proved a link. Is it possible to make the same poll here in such a convenient way?

48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Useful info: how to avoid cheating when selling bitcoin via PayPal! on: February 01, 2018, 06:04:44 PM
You have given suggested some good measures which will prevent the buyer from doing a charge back. But there are some issues here:

1) If you receive large amount of money as "friends and family" option, PayPal may block your account. That option is not for selling digital items.

2) Also as you are selling digital items, if the buyer makes a chargeback, it will be in his favor. If you do not pay back, you will loose PayPal account.

Thus, it is better to use any other payment option for this. Escrow is best.

Good comment! thanks!

Big problem! I read a lot of stories about scam and cheating related to PayPal. Thanks for the information!

Yes, and the saddest thing is that all that scammers hurts the whole crypto market.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Useful info: how to avoid cheating when selling bitcoin via PayPal! on: February 01, 2018, 05:18:32 PM
I have tried to summarize the main actions which will help you to avoid cheating while selling bitcoins (or other crypto assets) via PayPal.   ++ to karma to all of you who gives me merit for this topic=)

I) You should know that PayPal is the most inappropriate way to trade crypto assets! There are many other safe payment methods.

II) If you positively choose PayPal as the method of getting money from the buyer, then (BEFORE sending BTC) ask him to:
- pay as family and friends;
- send the funds only as a “gift”;
- provide additional documents* (see at the end of topic)

III) Withdraw money from your PayPal account immediately after acceptance of funds from the buyer. Depending on where the seller lives, these bank transfers can take 2-5 business days, although the money should be relatively safe as soon as PayPal marks the request as “completed.”

* list of documents which the buyers must provide you:

1-Proof of ID (Passport, Driver license or ID Card) (IN HIGH QUALITY)

2-Selfie (entire face) with ID in hand (readable) (IN HIGH QUALITY)

3- Screenshot of the buyer's OWN VERIFIED PayPal Account balance - ONLY PAYPAL VERIFIED ACCOUNTS -

4-For Business Account, Proof of address

5-Paypal info & ID must match

6-Proof of payment with own balance

7-The letter, authorizing the trade.
must be written by hand and then take a picture of the buyer next to his/her face ('selfie'):
I, <buyer's name>, accepts that I am buying XXXX amount of WICKED bitcoins for the PayPal price of $ XXX.XX. I am willingly acknowledging that if I attempt to make a chargeback that all information will be presented to PayPal including this agreement I am voluntarily acknowledging that this is a valid purchase and the compilation of this information is for validation purposes. Signed <buyer's name> + the number of the buyer's ID CARD

If the buyer's account is business, then he/she will have to do the same, but in a stamped sheet of his/her company and duly stamped.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, believe me, if a dishonest buyer, using PayPal as a means of cheating, faces all your requirements he just cancels the transaction.

A group of developers from Europe can develop and implement a Smart contract for your ICO launch. Additionally we offer an independent audit. An adequate price and high quality of work. Contact at icoprofi@gmail.com

Do you develop and implement a Smart contract for future client's tokens?  Or you accept only advance prepayment?

Perfect question! thank you!
Just to confirm I understand this, basically, I the crypto seller will have my crypto escrow into an exchange wallet?
Yes, before starting selling (in your case) you deposit crypto assets (BTC, ETH, etc.) into the Exchange wallet. Then these assets are appearing on your account, on the platform (our centralized exchange) and you can sell them to other users.
When your order to sell (e.g. 0.1 BTC) matches with the buyer's order, the Exchange holds(freeze) 0.1 BTC from your account for that transaction.
An upon my confirmation that the paypal payment is legit (with no chargeback), I will press the confirm button to release the crypto from escrow?
Yes, when you confirm the acceptance of money, your crypto, held for that transaction, is being released to the buyer's account (inside the Exchange).
Wonder how the situation will be handled if the payment is pass 90 days via paypal (a valid payment), yet I forget to release crypto from escrow? Does the exchange perform an automatic release after a certain number of days without confirmation?
First of all, you should know that PayPal is the most inappropriate way to trade crypto assets! We will be supporting other 50+ payment methods to perform trade deals. But, we must provide our users with all payment methods (including PayPal), so that they could choose.

Second, if you positively choose PayPal as the payment method while selling crypto then the Exchange automatically sends the following instructions to the buyer (after your orders matching):
- only pay as family and friends;
- send the funds only as a “gift”;
- be ready to provide additional documents* in case of disputes.

Also, the Exchange instructs the seller to withdraw money from his PayPal account immediately after acceptance of funds from the buyer. Depending on where the seller lives, these bank transfers can take 2-5 business days, although the money should be relatively safe as soon as PayPal marks the request as “completed.”

Finally, if you forgot to press "confirm" (or other disputes declared), then the Exchange follows these procedures:

Step 1) the buyer pays via PayPal (during 120 min after orders' matching) and press "Money had been sent".
Step 2) If the seller of crypto (you) forget to press "confirm money acceptance" (during 48 hours after the moment when the buyer press "Money had been sent", then the Exchange contact you, asking to confirm the money acceptance.
Step 3) If the exchange cannot reach you, then it asks the buyer to confirm the payment on his side by providing a lot of docs*
Step 4) If the exchange contact you and you don't confirm the money acceptance, then we follow step 3.
Step 5) if the buyer provides all required docs* and they are FINE, the Exchange contact the seller again (steps 2-4), only then the Exchange release 0.1 BTC to the buyer's account (and deduct from your account).

* list of documents provided by buyers for proof-of-payment (PayPal) in case of disputes.

1-Proof of ID (Passport, Driver license or ID Card) (IN HIGH QUALITY)

2-Selfie (entire face) with ID in hand (readable) (IN HIGH QUALITY)

3- Screenshot of the buyer's OWN VERIFIED PayPal Account balance - - ONLY PAYPAL VERIFIED ACCOUNTS--

So, believe me, if a dishonest buyer, using PayPal as a means of cheating, faces all our requirements he just cancels the transaction and gets negative feedback from the system (several negative feedbacks means a ban/black list), and your crypto will be unfrozen back to you.

What do you think about it?

The link to the ann: https://www.facebook.com/business/news/new-ads-policy-improving-integrity-and-security-of-financial-product-and-services-ads.

I believe that the creation of FB groups/pages related to the ICOs is still been possible; so this is not so dangerous. Are you agree?
It's not dangerous to the crypto community because there are still many ways of sharing ICOs to the public. It's not like that Facebook is the only social media out there are still many great social medias that can be used like Twitter, Youtube, Reddit, Blog sites etc.

Yes, but FB is the most popular with 1 bln auditory -(

I'd go with my own example:

fiat/cryptocurrency exchange!

That seems to be a universally accepted and understood idea! Good luck!  Wink

Maybe you are right...thanks!

Kindly help to chose the right name for the P2P Cryptocurrency-Fiat Exchange where users can buy/sell not only crypto currencies for fiat money but also for other tokens (e.g., BTC for ETH, LTC, XRP, or LTC for BTC, etc.).

Here are options:
1) P2P Cryptocurrency-Fiat and Swap Exchange.
2) P2P Cryptocurrency - Fiat/Token Exchange.
3) P2P Cryptocurrency - Fiat/Coins Exchange.

Just choose the option number what you like or advise your title=)    Roll Eyes

I also agree, #1 is the one that in my opinion suits best.

Many thanks!
