41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Siacoin future ? on: January 19, 2018, 07:51:50 PM
Siacoin is just another shitty coin, it has no usage at the moment since the real product is already finished. I used to hold some of them a few months ago, i made more than x3 since that. But for me, it is a waste of time, i have already dumped them all.

SC has and has always had a direct use as well. SC is spent for decentralized storage through the UI. What are you talking about. Please do your research before posting grossly incorrect data. Unless you a FUDDER, then good job.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INT Chain - Internet Node Token (big partnerships, mainnet by end of January) on: January 19, 2018, 05:13:20 PM
ITC, INT and IOTA should just team up and dominate.

Maybe XRB too if everyone can behave themselves.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if we were all wrong on: January 19, 2018, 05:09:42 PM
If were all wrong what is right?

The US Dollar, the Euro, the Swiss Franc, Ruble, Yuan, Rupee,....

Everyone already knows whats wrong there.Talk to the Venezuelans, Half of Africa, a majority of SE Asians, they lost faith in their currencies and economies many years ago. If you believe our monetary systems are getting less corrupt, that wealth is being more evenly distributed and that fiat economies arent being curated & manipulated then we might be wrong.

If you believe otherwise then we couldnt be more right.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SiaCoin (Sc)!! on: January 19, 2018, 04:57:35 PM
Yeah just stay with the project, its sometimes lets you down in the short term. In the long term ( In crypto long term is anything over 3-6 months ) its a winner.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Siacoin future ? on: January 19, 2018, 04:54:17 PM
Anybody that held their SC for more than a few months is very happy right now. This is one of those coins that you should just keep buying and forget about. Check back in a few months and smile about.

VC backed company, US ASIC mining manufacturing, and now even Bitmain has produced hardware that will propagate the network. More than a sold foundation to continually support an increasing valuation.

Outside the investment the team is probably one of the most knowledgeable and intelligent in the whole crypto space. Level headed, good guys with a progressive vision and the technical capability to execute it.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bread BRD - Next coinbase? on: January 19, 2018, 04:46:04 PM
Breads been around for a while and people trust the name. Its great they are taking the project to a new level. The team knows their stuff so there should be nothing but positive developments in the future... price always follows that its just a matter of how long it takes to catch up.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: January 19, 2018, 04:39:33 PM
[EQT] Equitrader hands down has the best ROI for a pos coin 30% immediate staking in wallet and its been around for a while.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DID YOU MISS IOTA? NO PROBLEM, IOT CHAIN IS THE NEXT TRAIN on: January 18, 2018, 03:03:31 PM
IOT and INT are fighting for market share there. Both will do well however I believe INT has more room for x2 to x5 in the coming month.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: January 18, 2018, 02:26:05 PM
BCH wont overtake BTC, at least not anytime soon. They are going to co-exist for some time to come. I do think BCH will grow more percentage wise than BTC making it the more profitable coin to hold in the short term.

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: January 18, 2018, 05:10:12 AM
During Bitmains latest release of the A3 miner yesterday they were only accepting BCH as payment.

The last time they did this was with the L3 when they decided to accept only LTC.

Following that LTC had a meteoric rise, so its a fairly good assumption well see a similar outcome with BCH in the coming weeks.

Bitmains  has some insight no one else does & they certainly know how to make money so BCH is probably good position to be in right now.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] Bitmain Announces Antminer A3 on: January 18, 2018, 04:19:00 AM
they are releasing a few every hour and making max quantity 1 per order... I just bought 12 and it was a pain in the ass lol

Yeah how did you order 12?  Under the same Bitmain acct or did you make a bunch of separate ones?
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] Bitmain Announces Antminer A3 on: January 18, 2018, 04:17:27 AM
Official response from the SIA [SC] Dev Team

"Bitmain has announced an ASIC miner for Sia. This has made a lot of people uneasy, especially those who preordered Obelisk units. So I'll first address the Obelisk units in isolation. Though we don't have the full chips back yet, the chips are in production and we have our final simulations. We can confidently state that the bitmain unit is far less energy efficient, costs more money, and is an objectively worse miner than the SC1. So people who ordered Obelisk units will still be receiving hardware of substantial value.

As a developer, Bitmain moving into the Sia space makes me uneasy. Bitmain has historically been extremely greedy, and very willing to sacrifice the well being of the community, of their customers, and of the ecosystem if it means they can make a couple of extra dollars. The biggest way this has manifested for altcoins is that they will over-sell hardware. When a ton of miners suddenly join the network, the difficulty adjusts. If too many miners join the network, nobody is able to make any money, and everyone eats a loss on their hardware purchase.

Bitmain has no qualms about overselling their units to buyers. They take massive margins on their hardware (>50%) and make more money than the total block reward at the expense of their customers. They over-saturate the mining market in a way that hurts their buyers. I think we will see this with Sia. Bitmain will sell more units than the Sia ecosystem can sustain, and many people end up with large losses. Bitmain will not end up with losses, because they were paid up-front with non-refundable money.

Bitmain also has a history of doing things like mining empty blocks, and like refusing to activate soft-forks that are beneficial to the network. They were openly hostile to the Bhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2769785.120itcoin-core developers, and actively blocked the activation of a very valuable network feature (Segwit).

We, the dev team, are not happy that Bitmain has made an ASIC for Sia. We are not happy that many Sia supporters are at risk of losing money by buying these miners (from over-saturation), and we are not happy that Bitmain may choose to interfere with our network. This is not a commentary on general ASIC companies, this is a commentary on Bitmain specifically.

We did add an extra feature to the SC1 unit that would allow us to invalidate the Bitmain hardware without invalidating the SC1. The community would need to choose to adopt a soft-fork (it's not something we could just magically activate, we have to change the hashing algorithm slightly), and then we could get rid of this cycle of Bitmain hardware. Of course, they could just create another round of hardware (likely taking ~3 months). And, it would hurt Bitmain customers more than it would hurt Bitmain. Bitmain has already sold around $20 million of non-refundable hardware. They have made their profit, and a soft-fork wouldn't change that.

As much as I would like to punch Bitmain in the nose, I don't think a soft-fork achieves what we want. If the hardware is used to harm the Sia network, either by doing double spends, rejecting soft forks, mining empty blocks, we will invalidate it without hesitation. But for the time being, I think the best thing to do is to advise people not to buy the Bitmain hardware (to protect yourself from the oversaturation that Bitmain tries to create), and then to watch and wait, and respond more if it appears that the network is under attack. Overall though, I do not think Sia is in trouble.

I am looking forward to the thoughts from the community."
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INT Chain - Internet Node Token (big partnerships, mainnet by end of January) on: January 17, 2018, 03:21:02 AM
those are fake partnerships all new chinese icos do. They register in a free site of IBM, SAP, etc. and claim to have "partnership"- wich is a lie.
I looked at iNT chain very carefully and i can say that due the regulations coming, this is a very bad investment atm. Just stay away from chinese icos genereally.

Staying away from Chinese ICOs would have been one of the most unprofitable things you could have done in 2017?
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INT Chain - Internet Node Token (big partnerships, mainnet by end of January) on: January 16, 2018, 07:15:44 PM
Reminds me of ANT (NEO), RPX, ITC... etc all which have done very well for me. Im on the train shill  or not its going to go. Downside is only Okex and Coinegg?! would have liked any other options but Ill play the gambit regardless.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I just sold my substratum coins on: January 16, 2018, 05:44:32 AM
Never close a position!

Sell a large percent to take profit if you think its a good move but never dust anything.

I can tell you every crypto trader has had regrets down the road when they sold it all.

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should i do?? Please help! on: January 11, 2018, 08:53:01 AM
Your not going to see the same percentage from a btc run as you will with alts. If your getting into btc its to get in or out of a market so discipline is a must. Chasing after fluctuations usually results in a lot of transaction fees and minor gains on a good day.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MED] Medibloc - Blockchain based Healthcare Information on: January 11, 2018, 08:48:03 AM
MED Medibloc Blockchain based Healthcare Information

Medibloc is similar to Patientory in some aspects only they should have an easier development process since the majority of healthcare in Asia is a lot more streamlined then American & European systems.

Doesn't have much exposure on western exchanges yet so it still under the radar. Only been publically available for a short time as well so there is should be a lot of exponential upside left here.
The health industry is big in any country, after all we all care about our health and we need to get some services related to it, however every culture has their own ways of dealing with that, I remember that patientory gave good profits to some people at the beginning but from that point on nothing has happened with that coin and I think we can expect the same with this project.

You may be right. I think this i one of those very long term holds or get in and outs. Its still super new so I believe we are still on the in swing. After this Korean FUD blows over in the next day strong green candles should start lighting up.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MED] Medibloc - Blockchain based Healthcare Information on: January 10, 2018, 11:51:12 PM
Did well even on that pullback. Buying a batch on the dip. Marketcap and volume are both blowing up. Think well see a double again when the market rebounds later in the week.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deepbrain Chain ( DBC ) on: January 06, 2018, 06:31:20 PM
Im holding on to it for a while. Its definitely going to keep moving for at least the next few weeks as it gets more exposure.
