581  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: February 01, 2023, 07:15:48 PM
Well, I have to clarify that personally I have never had any loan or debt in my life so this thread has nothing to do with my experience but intends to find out how people in loan/debt deal with the problem. Let's say you take loans from a bank and sometimes for whatever reason, you can not pay the debt on time, then you borrow money from other channels. Sure this works for a certain period but later bad things may happen, you have to postpone the payment and struggle with finances again. Isn't this a vicious circle ? How would you deal with the problem ? I am all ears.

This is likely called like using another loan to cover for the old loan and some people live their life like that and it is nothing wrong for them that way. This is certainly a problem for some people though because they can not stand the feeling of not being able to repay their loan. One challenging thing about loan is that the collateral is at risk of forfeiture when you are not able to repay and this is why people do another loan to cover the old one.
582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A retracement of Bitcoin Has Negatively Impacted The Crypto Market on: February 01, 2023, 06:36:33 PM
Well, the current price of Bitcoin as i type right now is $22,882, and it seems to still be going down, though i am not good, or better put, i don't know how to read charts but from the look of things, chances that we might see the price of bitcoin around $21,000 again is quite high, as it seems to be a free fall currently, and this have affected the entire crypto market..
The only times we do experience this kind of price fall is when there is any negative happenings in this crypto space, so this actually makes me wonder if anything has happened that we are yet to know about.

Nothing has happened yet that we are to express panic for a collapse of price but know it that it is normal for the price of bitcoin to retrace after a while of steady bull run. The retracement will happen but nobody knows how far down it can pull the price. For instance for the past 24hours the price have been slowly dropping but considerably still holding strong for now.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Feb 1 FOMC meeting on: January 31, 2023, 05:14:25 PM
.

But from my personal opinion, it's not actually affect Bitcoin, but it's more affect to stock since each company have debt and rely on financial.

I think you are right. So many people depend on it without actually confirming if the outcome of the meeting have direct impact on bitcoin and like you said, I don't think it has effect on bitcoin. Such outcome can affect stock and fiat but not bitcoin because they are regulated and controlled but bitcoin is not, therefore you can't limit any investment in bitcoin so it fluctuate on itself.
584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools for analysis on: January 31, 2023, 02:14:28 PM
The basic cryptocurrency trading indicators are good tools for market analysis but there result is also useless at some point

No I don't think indicators market analysis produce useless results if only you understand it. Indicators are not studied in isolation from charts and if you can do a proper analysis, you can understand it. Although sometimes fundamental can change the charts map but you should also know how to tackle the fundamental as a trader. If you are over staying in the market after you have made reasonable gains then you can be taken away by the winds of fundamental if you are not trading with stop lose.
585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 29, 2023, 06:34:50 PM
No one can say if the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase any time soon. All i can say the market just recovered a little. It just wise to remove your focus from the short term market uncertainty. The market will certainly rise in the future and which will benefit long term holders

This is like what happened during the covid-19 pandemic year in 2020 around February during the bear season that bitcoin started to increase. At this time it was so doubtful that bitcoin was going to increase despite the hard effect of the time caused by social distancing, closing of businesses and quarantine of people all around the world. But this never affected bitcoin price rather it went higher. Now it is another uncertainty happening with speculation of price but I think it may come out taking much people unaware to the extent or direction of price before the next halving.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: I have resolved into buying more and caring less on: January 29, 2023, 04:15:37 PM

The goal is not to get rich but to catch up with the next trend and ATH.

Lol this is the same thing. Catching up with the trend means wanting to set yourself up for the right trend and getting the trend right means easier profit, profit is additional money  Grin. Anyway my point therefore is while catching up with the trend, don't take the wrong hasty decision and invest all you have just because of your convinction that price will automatically start improving. Remember to invest what you can bear to lose. The market don't go up all the time, the corrections are still there
587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy for Dollar Cost Averaging on: January 29, 2023, 02:14:33 PM

What is your best strategy for Dollar Cost Averaging, do you do it weekly, monthly?
What do you advice and why?

The best for DCA is not to do it by random or weekly or monthly as you said but you need to do an analysis on your own first to check your support and resistance levels and then monitor through the chart to see where price will probably move to before you go in. Basically, it is good that you DCA when the price has dropped because you will have more chances of profit than when you buy on the high after price has broken for bull direction.

The concept you described is not the concept of DCA.
Dollar cost averaging doesn't permit that you stress yourself watching the chart and deciding points to enter the market or not to enter.
DCA is an idea that is birthed in order to help you invest in the market when you don't know the next direction of the market. If everyone knows where the market is going, no one will do DCA.
So, DCA can be a  buying process which is targeting a particular range of price. Until the desired price is gotten, you keep buying in intervals

Sorry you have just shared the same idea as I did. I'm sure nobody likes chasing high price or ATH for DCA. Yes if you have to have a particular price in mind as the range you want to DCA then it is still same point and idea that I shared. IMO, I don't like highs for DCA and I think likewise more hodlers don't too. So doing an analysis to wait for price getting there is part of trading also and DCA is either considered as hodling or trading depending on what you have in mind and when you decide to sell.
588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need help on Option Trading on: January 29, 2023, 12:40:56 PM
I can only give advice to stay away from option trading because option trading is the same as gambling,
I know Binance also provides this trading feature but it would be better if you avoid it,
not just like gambling but you can lose all your capital there if you trade wrong.

It is not gambling if you want to do the right thing. All forms of trading involves research and you must have to do that. It is when you don't do that you think of it as gambling but it is not. You have your indicators and research guidelines to go through and also the chart is important. Gambling has no chart and it outcome are strictly based on luck.
589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Retracement will finally happen on: January 28, 2023, 07:24:00 PM

About whether it's good or bad? I think this just the market being normal and not moving in one straight line as some people expect.

Usually it is the real thing to happen in market when the price go up or down. Liquidity and volatility is what traders use to trace or chart out the market direction and with this, it is understandable that the movement or waves are not steadily in one direction except it is going on trend but it will be for a particular moment.
590  Economy / Economics / Re: Track every rich person take on: January 27, 2023, 06:04:04 PM
I think one major factor setting rich people apart is that they are always positive in what they are doing. They dream big, set the goals to achieve it and they pursue it with positivity. Having a positive mind is a plus to getting your goals to transform into reality. If you are positive then even when you far, you will easily get up back because you have already conceived the light. Very few people stumble into riches, many plan and fight for it positively for it to come to them.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: A beautiful place assures excellence in business and personal life. on: January 27, 2023, 12:46:56 PM

One other point to note is that, a beautiful place/space can be too comfortable in the long run and you know how harmful it is to be in ones comfort zone for too long.

I don't believe so that a beautiful and comfortable place can be harmful. Such beautiful place can only be harmful if in the real sense there are other beautiful place better than the one we have or are in. In other words if we have reached the pinnacle of our career and acquire all the good things that can make us comfortable and are not looking for more, making it our comfort zone so how will it now be harmful or dangerous to us? No it won't if we have reached the peak of our life and identifying, providing and making somewhere our comfort zone, that is what it is.
592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Retracement will finally happen on: January 27, 2023, 11:44:58 AM
It is normal for price to retrace after some bull move and if this happens it won't be a surprise. The resistance levels around 21,000 couldn't stop price to jump to 23,000 and now we have seen a little stop at 23,000.

Hence, I think the next coming week is going to determine if the price level of 23k will be a strong resistance to push price down for a bull correction before the next move but for now, I'm going to stay and watch until the new week to avoid being trapped on the weekend because it is always funny during the weekend.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CBDC and Regulation discussion on: January 26, 2023, 09:32:17 PM

You as a crypto adopter would you like to use CBDC if the pairs are available on all crypto exchanges as a way to store yourself some digital US Dollar?

I'm yet to see the benefit of CBDC at the moment. It is a centralised system that is not free from government interference and manipulation. Well if it is a way to get some US Dollar in exchange like converting or outright sale in exchange for dollar, I would go for that but if not and if there are other alternatives then I will go for the next option.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: January 26, 2023, 07:52:54 AM
Do you agree with this that people who are very good at saving money become very good at keeping bitcoins when they finally start doing cryptocurrency?

There is possibility for this because saving of money takes alot of sacrifice that you have to deprive yourself of certain luxury to accumulate your money either in the bank or at your closet. In other words, it is the same thing with bitcoin hodling as it is the same process of deprivation for that time of accumulation and savings. However for bitcoin, you will be more encouraged to do so because of the high expectation of increase in the value of what you are hodling in the future. For example with the last month that bitcoin has been appreciating, it is also reflecting in the portfolio of hodlers certainly which is an added advantage to the culture of hodling of bitcoin.

Or do you feel that there is no similarity between keeping bitcoins and keeping money?

There is similarity in both and that is the spirit of savings that you still have to retrain yourself from unnecessary spending for fiat and dumping for bitcoin.
595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your successes over the past 5 years on: January 25, 2023, 09:51:11 PM
But when I look at my portfolio, I'm happy to look at it every time even if the market isn't that good at all,

I think it is the same story and we share the same measure of scam to it. Investing in Ponzi scheme is a scam already because it will eventually fail. Also back in the past ICO was all over the place and investing on it then seem like it was a sure way to financial independence but it never happened, it all ended in scam. This is the story so far but there is still light at the end because some investment still give you hope for increase soon during the bitcoin bull.

597  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 25, 2023, 03:14:03 AM
and after spending all this money, you're practically left with nothing and may be subject to looking for a new house at any moment.

Renting is not bad because someone need a place to live and before you think or do anything, this is important but what is bad is to rent an apartment that is beyond your earning income, that is what is bad. If you rent an apartment that you can still eat and make your other expenses balance then you have rented according to the seize of your income but if after you have rented the apartment then you allow other aspect of your financial live to suffer, you have not done a good calculation of your rent expenses. Usually you are suppose to have @least 10% of your income out for rent and not 20% or 30%.
598  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Visible is your trading plan on: January 24, 2023, 05:15:33 PM

but only a few care about some minor things that can help improve their trade and ensure they are implementing the right strategy for every trade they make.

Little things matter in trading and this is why I like this aspect of the post. Some losses that we encounter can be because of little things that we don't put or do right in our order. Things like having patients before taking out your trade is important. Being careful to do a detail analysis can set you right on your trade instead of being in a haste and afterwards regretting taking the trade at that time.
599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as wealth. on: January 24, 2023, 02:52:14 PM

Let go into the society as a whole most wealthy and stable individual are in there position today as a result of investment which is cryptocurrency when we look at them most of them are into trading of assets.

Except that you are talking about Forex trading that has been a while but cryptocurrency trading will not be attributed to the wealthy and stable people in the society. Hodling crypto is far older than trading crypto and cryptocurrency itself is around 11 years old while the wealthy in the society have long been wealthy
before crypto trading became this popular and moreover many wealthy people don't openly associate themselves with cryptocurrency. Someone like Warren buffet as one of the wealthy doesn't publicly support crypto.
600  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A curious funny thought of the day on: January 22, 2023, 12:04:48 PM
Probably put all exchanges on high alert in expectation of the hacker moving it through them. This could be extended to mixers as well which they think the hacker would try to move it through first.

Well this is a possibility and something that could be watched out on but what I'm thinking is that the hacker may still decide not to go through such means and sell gradually through P2P. I believe though that the address may be identified but nothing much may come out of it. Don't make mistake of being hacked.
