The downtime was not something you could control. Things like these can only be avoided with comlete redundancy - expensive.

However, it took me a little while to figure out what was wrong with the payouts through the night. I'm sure most people who wonder will find their way to this thread eventually, but I take the liberty of offering a few suggestions. Please do not take this as criticism - I think you are one of the top pool operators around, very quick to fix things and always dealing with things fairly. I really enjoy your pools, but I have a wish list of improvements. You may not agree that this is necessary, but here they are:

1) How about an "announcement" text on top of the web interface when something major happens. Many other pools do this
2) You should have a link on your pool front pages to the official forum thread for the pool, if this is where updates are published
3) Other pools using mmcfe front end have a lovely graph which shows hash rate over time (pool and miner) and earned coins as bar graphs for every day. This kind of display I find very informative; it gives me at-a-glance info of what my rigs have been up to and if the pool is performing as expected. Is it possible for you to graft a piece of the mmcfe code into your front end and provide similar graph info? :-)

I'm more than sure the problem was with my fast typing during registration. But when there is no double check field on a sensitive information, as passwords have, it could happen to anyone.

well obviously current hashrate won't be enough to mine efficiently..

Was mining here no problem but even with a difficulty drop it reduced my expected payouts/hr. Also did you start restricting hash rates because pool grew > 50%?

yes everything has been smooth sailing since then. Enjoying the pool very much, but I think you need to take a look at your projected retarget information. Just prior to the difficulty drop down to 2.59, your estimate was showing it would go up to 4.5 (or something close, it was 4. something) Now it is showing difficulty going to 21 next round, so I can only assume that the estimate calculation is off.

This is the only pool that provides PXC retarget estimates as far as I know, and I really appreciated when you added that feature added to your WDC and DGC pools. I hope you work the kinks in the PXC estimation as it is very useful. Congrats on building a large hashrate in very little time, speaks to the quality of your pools.

I'm sure nothing is wrong with PPLNS.  Just miner's preference is all.

to be honest, a pure pps dgc mining pool would really boost network hashrate. set a % fee thats within reason and i would be mining dgc all day, everyday

just signed up around 2 hours ago, the orphan rate is higher than anything I have ever seen on any pool or any coin, including your WDC pool. You sure everything is okay here?

I think it's my mistake anyway, set the payout too low, hence why account balance was showing 0. More coins than I anticipated. Sorry!

any front-end issues? My miners are accepting shares, but the front-end isn't updating with any balance, my account balance says zero, and I haven't seen anything regarding a payment.
