1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO IDENTIFY GOOD AND SOLID BOUNTIES on: July 07, 2019, 10:22:03 AM
Good Day Everyone,

Well, I know a lot of bounty hunters are frustrated and worn out mostly because most of the projects which they'd spent their precious time promoting ended up being scam projects. But hey, its too late to give up at this time, trust me.

So here are the little tips which I personally apply before participating in any bounty campaign, though, of course, it takes time, I feel its worth it.

1. THE TEAM BEHIND THE PROJECT
2. THE SOFT CAP AND HARD CAP (HOW REASONABLE IS IT?)
3. HAVE THEY RAISED ANY FUNDS BEFORE COMING PUBLIC?
4. ARE THEY PLANNING AN ICO, STO, OR IEO? IF IEO, THEN ON WHAT EXCHANGE?
5. WHO IS THE BOUNTY MANAGER? WHAT IS HIS TRUST LEVEL ON BITCOINTALK? WHAT IS THE SUCCESS RATE OF THE CAMPAIGNS HE HAD MANAGED? AND SO ON.

FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR OPINIONS BELOW, I MIGHT JUST LEARN A THING OR TWO

That is actually a good pointers to remember. Not all bounties are actually worth our time. In fact most them are just worthless in the end. Its hard to choose the right bounty and it takes time because you have to make your own research about it. Reading their whitepaper and roadmap might also help you to decide whether to join or not. Check also if they have already a working product or not.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: July 07, 2019, 10:03:25 AM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

Simply because there is no point in selling them anyway. Its very cheap as if its worthless. Also most of them are not listed anywhere so there is no way you can get rid of them. It will remain on your wallet whether you like it or not. You'll never know, one day when you wake up, your coin might have some value. But don't keep your hopes up. Better move on.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can shit coin be the best coin if the project and product is real ? on: July 06, 2019, 12:12:14 PM
as we know now, many new coins listed on exchange and the price immediately down very much, so many investors are disappointed and regret having invested in coin because coin have become shit coin even though the project and product of coin are still running, but will one day the price of coin can increase very high and even exceed the ICO price if the project and product is real and useful in the future or still does not affect for the price of coin and coin still become shit coin ?

I don't really know what do you mean by shitcoin. If you mean the decreasing of coins value once its listed in the market, I think that is quite normal specially in a newly released coin. A good project with a working product is a good reinforcement for the coin to increase its value but a new coin in the market will always have a cheap value in the beginning. Just give it time and let the product works.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market conditions. on: July 06, 2019, 12:07:55 PM
Does anyone know the reason in these 2 days, why is the market experiencing a sharp decline. Will the red color continue, or only for a moment and then change to green. Give your honest opinion and knowledge. Let's discuss with a cool mind, waiting for positive news.
 Thank you.

I think its pretty normal in cryptocurrency to experience this kind of drop. We all know how volatile cryptocurrency is and it is very unpredictable specially now in this bearish market. I think kind of red market will continue for a couple of months but who knows. Actually if you check how bitcoin already recover slightly from previous months you'll see a little hope. Ethereum is also increasing slowly and its a good sign.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: July 06, 2019, 12:02:23 PM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.

First of all, everything about bounty campaigns are uncertain. For your first question, yes it is normal for the bouny rewards not to be paid when the target is not reached thats why they set a target in the first place and it is stated on their bounty rules. For your second question, I don't think you can blame the bounty manager for the failure of the campaign because like us, he or she is also been hired.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How does a perfect Bounty Campaign looks like? on: July 06, 2019, 11:57:08 AM
Hey guys,

I would like to know from alle the Bounty hunters what aspects you wish to have in a bounty campaign and what makes you start participating?

Whats your thought on affiliate links?

Looking forward to discussion

Cheers

Your Stag3 Team

Actually there is no such thing as perfect bounty campaign. Every campaign is uncertain. The success or failure of a particular bounty campaign depends on the developer and hunters. You have to make your own research first about the project itself. Read their whitepapers, review their social medias, look for their reviews, background check the developers and based your decision from that.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its Ethereum on: July 05, 2019, 01:20:36 PM
I have couple of ethereum holders as friend and right now they are in worries about the upcoming hardfork ,well this is my opinion
-the upcoming hardfork is just an upgrade ,don't expect extra coins for holding ETH
-its ethereum damn it, If you are thinking it might lose value after the upgrade you are wrong ,I don't say its impossible but of all coins out there ETH stands out ,its no shit coin and remember the dev is a smart guy ,he knows what's best ,either it goes POS or not ETH is still a champ
Don't dump or live to regret it.

Its always a good time to invest in ethereum because its one of the best crypto out there in terms of value, market cap, usefulness, stability, and safety. Its history of coming back from great loss is also evident meaning its a reliable coin. Most of the tokens in cryptocurrency are also based on ethereum platform which means its very useful and functional.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Risks Of Long-Term Hodling Alts on: July 05, 2019, 01:11:12 PM
  • You might end up holding dead coins if the project gets abandoned
  • You might miss swaps and end up holding worthless tokens
  • Delisting of coin/token and you miss the withdraw period (in case you store coins/tokens on exchanges)

Take time to follow news/updates on the coins/tokens you invested to minimize the above listed risks. Checking up their telegram/discord/social media once or twice a month will help.

Those are actually true. In my opinion, long term holding are only good for pioneer coins like bitcoin and ethereum. Holding altcoins or token for a long time might not be a good idea because its not yet established itself in the market. A lot of things can happen. It might end up worthless and you will gain nothing. Day trading is more advisable when dealing with tokens and altcoins.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 05, 2019, 01:01:17 PM
I think it's high time projects know that they cannot rely solely on bounty and airdrop as a means of promotion. A lot of projects launch and they rely on their bounty campaigns and airdrop to help bring in investors and therefore fail to reach their softcap.

I never said bounties are not effective but it should only be used to create and reward their community not to bring in investors. If a project wants to promote it crowdsale then the team should deploy real promotional means like paying top influencers, attending conferences, advertisements on top sites like coinmarketcap, etc. Because no matter how good the project is, if it can't market properly then it won't reach its goals and if a project is mediocre but have a top notch marketing program, it will succeed beyond expectations.

Its true that bounties are not enough to make a certain project successful. But take note that it is a big part of its success. I think to improve the effects of bounties in a certain project, the quality of the campaign should also be improve. Also, all types of campaign should be active and it should include blogs and youtube promotions. Lastly, the marketing person should be an expert and experienced.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why blame people for your failure? on: July 03, 2019, 02:35:25 PM
I come across different posts and allegations that bounty hunters are dumpers and they make projects lose it value upon exchange listing. But from my experience with bounties most projects don't offer bounty allocation of more than 5% of the total token sold. So how will 5% dump have a huge effect on the remaining 95% price. And what about projects that don't have bounties but still dump hard on the exchange, is it bounty hunters too?
The bitter truth is that most projects dump because of the ridiculous number of bonuses the team have offered during the tokensale and pre-sale period. Imagine giving investors 70% bonus for their investments, they can decide to sell everything off and be happy with the 70% profit.

Yes I agree. The failure of a certain project are actually depends on the developers and the product itself. Its true that in some way bounty hunters affects also the success or failure of a particular project, but if you think about it, the bounty allocation is very small relative to the total number of tokens, so it means even if you dump the bounty allocation, the effects are still negligible.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries are more friendlier to crypto? on: July 03, 2019, 02:28:37 PM
With tightening regulations from the US and some countries worldwide, the growth of crypto and Blockchain technology is becoming somewhat slow. We've seen how the SEC has been against ICOs all along, while some people in the government have proposed to ban privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies. In other countries like China and India, they've been proposing to ban Bitcoin in its entirety which could have a huge impact on crypto's growth within such areas.

Why is why, I'm curious to know which country is the friendliest to crypto nowadays? Or, which countries are more friendlier to crypto than others?

There was once a site called "Bitlegal" which showed the countries of the world, that were friendly to crypto and Blockchain in general. However, it seems to be widely inaccessible these days.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

Based on my observation, I think the most friendliest nation to crypto are the european nations and some asian countries like singapore, japan, and indonesia. Most ICOs are actually originated in european countries and some famous exchangers are actually operated in singapore and japan. I think those nations are more open to the possibility of incorporating crypto into their society.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you interested in knowing the real Satoshi? on: July 03, 2019, 02:23:46 PM
Whos could he be? There is an interesting countdown going on the moment at a website. Is it a marketing stunt? Or would they unveil the real Satoshi? In my opinion, it is more like gaining some marketing popularity as their Twitter account has grown up quite massively.

Of course I do. In fact I think everyone are interested to know the real satoshi. He or she is the creator of all this. His or her works are the origin of what we are experiencing now. Its like meeting your parent or something. If you think about it, the fact that he remains anonymous until today, I think he or she has a pretty good reason why. Lets just hope one day he'll just reveal himself.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market situation on: July 03, 2019, 02:17:49 PM
What are your views on the current state of Crypto currency markets ? How does the future looks like?

The market right now is almost the same compared to last year. Its just a little bit good right now. I think its pretty normal for cryptocurrency to have this kind of market condition. Right now bitcoin and ethereum shows a little sign of uprising and its a good thing. It means when it becomes stable, altcoins will be the next to rise. The future looks good for crypto users.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy or Sell...??? on: July 03, 2019, 02:12:33 PM
Market going in very deep stress level so many people are confused what they do with present market situation.
Because nobody now when market will start in up position. But according to my opinion this time is not of Selling just wait and watch the market and enjoy this time with your family because in few months market will start up trend. So this time no need to sell.
But if you want to invest more money in Crypto market this is the right time.

I think its better to buy now than to sell. We should all take advantage of the opportunity while the market are still down. All the coins are red and it means we can buy a lot of coins in a very cheap amount. When the market suddenly rise, it means profit. The more coins you buy at a small price means a huge profit when the market recovers.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: July 02, 2019, 01:11:10 PM
I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

Thats why its called shitcoins. I always prefered investing or buying proven coins like bitcoin and ethereum because it will surely give you something. Buying newly introduced coins are very risky because most of them are worthless and end up as a failure. There some new coins that worth the try but its very hard to choose which among which. I think invest more in bitcoin and less in ICO coins.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: July 02, 2019, 01:05:46 PM
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember

Thanks for sharing but I think the problem here is how you store and hold your coins. You can buy as many coins as you want but you have to make sure it stored safely and organized so you can always monitor it and know what happen to them. Its like making a portfolio out of it and you should monitor and check it from time to time.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Newbie? on: July 02, 2019, 12:59:47 PM
I began to think this would be a waste of time with everything I learned because almost all the projects I had followed ended in scammers. Is this a waste of time for me?  Embarrassed

If your talking about bounty then it is really hard to join if you are in a newbie level. But don't get me wrong, its not the end for you. Its true that there are many scammers out there but there are also worthy projects. You just have to see which one of them is. But first you have to rank up because you will not earn any significant amount in that level.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019 on: July 02, 2019, 12:54:41 PM
Let's start with the fact that just after almost a year and a half not many can earn money on bounty, and this is a very ungrateful job. I think this year the situation will not change, and it will be still difficult to make money on bounty.

What to do? Is there a way out?

Yes, there is one single way out, this is work on yourself for free, spend all the time that goes to the bounty for self-education, the study of new trends, those that require intellectual activity.

For example, out of 1,000 people performing the bounty, 70% will continue to fulfill them in the hope that in the future they will get rich. 25% will simply come out of this whole story and the cryptocurrency for them will only be experience and memory. But only 5% will understand that this niche is only developing, and experts, experts in their field are required here, they will start exploring other ways of making money, it could be programming, marketing. And of these 5% only 5 people will not give up and will work hard to reach their goal.

What I am talking about, people give up very easily, without even trying, losing their chance to gain experience, possible earnings. If you just think about the fact that very low% of people really try to achieve something, then theoretically everyone can achieve anything, you just need to make the effort and time.

Thus, those people who may not even be very capable, but they have motivation, they understand that nothing is impossible, they reach heights.

I did not try to convince anyone or something else, I just wanted to talk, to express my opinion on this matter.

I wish you good luck and patience!

There are several ways you can try to earn in cryptocurrency. You can check airdrops, bounty hunting, mining, and investing. Airdrops are the easiest way and it doesn't require anything from you but the earnings are very small. Bounty hunting on the other hand requires more of your effort and time but the potential earnings are bigger compared to airdrops.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty conditions in the future on: July 02, 2019, 12:50:40 PM
as we saw in 2017 where the price of Bitcoin and other altcoin increased, at that time bounty was also successful, because many bounty hunter get huge income in 2017, but in 2018 when Bitcoin prices down very much then at that time also many bounty failed and made bounty hunter difficult to get income, but now in 2019 the price of Bitcoin begins to recover and returns to growth (increases), but still many bounty fail and do not provide income to bounty hunter, then whether when the price of Bitcoin really rises very high and stable (it doesn't go down again), so bounty hunter will be able to start earning income again or even it is still difficult for bounty hunter to get income? (the price of Bitcoin doesn't affect for bounty), please give me your opinion.

Its partly true that bitcoin's value affects bounty hunting but mostly it depends on the project itself. Most bounty campaigns failed because the project itself are poorly plan and no concrete product to work on to. Also some of them are just trying to go with the flow and scam investors. I think your success as a bounty hunter depends mostly on yourself on how you choose campaigns.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: July 01, 2019, 04:44:07 AM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?

That is a very sad news to hear. Anyway, cryptocurrency will always be accompanied by those crimes and we can't stop them but we can minimize them. There are many investments schemes that involves crypto and those schemes are very prone to hacking and scamming. All we can do is to be more careful and vigilant about our decision. Make sure you know what you are doing and always do the necessary precations.
