221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 25, 2017, 08:19:21 PM
I always thought Trading would cover 60% of the bitcoin source but this question pull indicates 51% people think Trading as the best source of bitcoins. I honestly think that bitcoin is best be using for trading. But it turned out to be a bigger source for gambling.
222  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate? on: November 24, 2017, 07:36:39 PM
Wonderful story, honestly this story wasn't known to be. Thanks for sharing.
I think you know that there's a difference between "Jealousy" and "Envy". Jealousy is kind of sweet, and envy is powerful unless these two can taste "hatred or hate". If you envy someone then work yourself hard to improve you, then I say Envy is powerful. But if you also hate the person then your envy could be dangerous. Jealousy is a bit sweet but it could drive you mad if you started to mix hate with it. People hate cause people feels like it's easier to feed the evil wolf than the other one.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 12:45:13 PM
People are giving lot's of reasons why women are seen very very little in bitcoin. Men are more tech friendly, women are not. Women are defensive, men are more aggressive in economic field, which actually implies that man are more likely to invest at risk where women aren't. But all of these couldn't justify the percentages here. Only 4% women!!! really! seriously!!! I had no idea.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple bitcoin core tutorial on: November 22, 2017, 06:19:05 PM
Didn't read the whole blog but the thing that disturbed me the most is the order or your sorting. Last part (part 9) is at the very beginning. And the first part is at the bottom, worse, it's in the next page. You should have known before posting it that the order will be like this. You need to remember that, people love to scroll down, they don't like to do both scrolling up and down. Good work by the way, appreciate your work.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the right time to cash out? on: November 21, 2017, 05:46:56 PM
I think the right time to cash out is only when you need the money. If you are running low on cash while the price of bitcoin is down, you make the withdraw. But if you don't need much cash on you and the price is falling, you should not withdraw money. So, use your bitcoin, money and time according to your needs, not your fear or technical lose or your prediction (even if it's good).
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: November 19, 2017, 06:45:05 PM
Well, I think it's a great idea. But there's both pros and cons in it. If the sites started to accept bitcoin as payment then lots of interested folks will start to deal in it. That way, it could spread out pretty quickly. But the bad thing is, most of the people will make improper inference. They will think of bitcoins as a tool of secrecy. They would not think of using it for something good. Which will take bitcoins years and years behind. This post is from 2011, I wanna know if any big sites take this idea and started to accept bitcoins?
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: November 18, 2017, 06:07:06 PM
Yes the banks fear online money or crypto-currency and definitely it was suppose to happen. Because of crypto-currency banks gonna lose lots of transactions and saving accounts. People will look for some place other than bank cause banks always deal with cash or currency where it's all being controlled with a central bank. But the crypto currency is decentralized, so it does not need the banks. If you understand the process then it will be more clear that the banks are in fear, not us. Yes, we are but it's different. Will talk about it some other time.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 15, 2017, 07:03:45 PM
To be honest I will go for the gold. Here's why I choose gold over bitcoins. Look, we all live in a world where only handful of people knows about bitcoin but I'm sure over 80% people of the whole wide world knows what is gold. Besides, gold was one of the first currency (as far as my knowledge). Still gold has it's appeal. Bitcoin has competitor where gold has too but the difference is, there's a big chance where people will go for a different online money and forget about bitcoin when they find a better online money. But gold still has it's own place and the way I see it, it will remain the same after 10 years or more.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a fixed supply of bitcoins around the wolrd or is it printable like $? on: November 15, 2017, 06:53:12 PM
No it's not printable. 1 of the basis of decentralized currency is that it's supply is fixed. The total amount is currently known to the world as 21 millions.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: November 13, 2017, 07:34:58 PM
Maybe you didn't read about economics from the books. Look, do you know what "complimentary goods" and "supplementary goods" are? Let me gave you two examples. When you buy some papers, you need a pen to write on it. Again, when you buy a pen, you need papers to write. This pen and papers are complimentary goods. Beef and chicken are supplementary goods. When one of their price rises, people go for the other one. Similarly, when one of their price goes down, people go towards it. Electric car and fuel cars are supplementary goods. Therefore, electric cars are "bad" for the oil industry, simple as that.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Back to normal ( if there is such a thing) on: November 13, 2017, 07:04:16 PM
I don't see how the network is "damaged". The way I see it, it was normal and is normal. The only thing that bothers you is the people who left bitcoin right? You think because of them we are not "moving forward". Well, it's partially true but we did move forward. I think you already know that the price of bitcoin rose again. And the truth is the void would not fill completely, but that's part of the normality.
232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 04:49:42 PM
The elder person might get a simple idea from Language. Took English for example, Internationally the best way to communicate for any two person in the world is English. Let's imagine a world with a single currency in every country. There was a time when gold where measured as currency in the entire world, just like that "Bitcoin" is a currency. Now, this currency does not belong to a pocket, but in an account,, say bank account for example, where transaction can be made without any notes moving around hand to hand. That could give him/her an initial idea. Let's not go to "Mining" here today.
233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: November 10, 2017, 06:46:09 PM
Yes of course Global Warming is real. No wonder your room temperature is higher than before. But, it is not that much as they say.
When we were in 90's, global warming research said within 2005 there will be no Maldives, most of the Sri-Lanka will go under water, one third of Bangladesh will be gone and coastal area of India, Indonesia etc will be affected badly. Then 2005 was replaced by 2012-2013. And now they 2025-2030. So, let's see what happens.
234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I recognize a company with better future on: November 09, 2017, 06:55:31 PM
It's not that easy to decide whether it's gonna be big hit or something you don't wanna make a deal with.

Let's take a look at Yahoo. Google wanted to sell to Yahoo for only $1 million in 1998. But Yahoo wasn't interested. Then when Yahoo got it's interest to buy Google, they offered 3 billion but Google wanted 2 billion more. The deal was called off. Then we all know about what happened to Yahoo finally.

On the other hand, look at Instagram. Instagram came up with an idea of photo sharing which was nothing new. But Facebook announced one of the biggest deal of the history and bought Instagram for $1 billion. At that time Instagram didn't had any revenue. But now it's a great success.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: November 08, 2017, 06:46:38 AM
It really depends on your investment window. If you plan on hodling for 5-10 years than buy it at any price.

But if its for quick profit I'd recommend waiting till after the fork. Right now price is way too hot.

All markets work with highs and lows. Right now we are in a high.

Good luck with the investments!
