61  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Money or Currency on: May 12, 2018, 06:57:23 PM
Currency is the medium of exchange. But money is different. The way I see it, anything with value is money. We all know that Time is money. It's a 100% truth. Your asset is kind of money. Any useful currency is undoubtedly money. BTC or Bitcoin was supposed to be a currency. But I don't think we have reached there yet. Now Bitcoin is only money, soon it will be both.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: May 12, 2018, 06:49:03 PM
It was true at the time you said it. That was the time in 2017 when the price of Bitcoin was very high and the growth rate was amazing. But now, it's not like that. The people who are newly getting themselves into bitcoins or cryptocurrency is actually passionate or at least very interested about it. Most of the Bitcoin coin users who don't possess much are gone.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: 20% of Bitcoin Remaining? on: May 11, 2018, 06:49:23 PM
Since the total amount of Bitcoin is fixed, so the price will possibly keep rising. I think this is the main reason why the price of Bitcoin started to raise so high in 2017. But in this year, the price seems to stay a little lower over all compared to last year. I don't we have to wait many years to mine all the Bitcoins. When it's all mined, I think the price will become a little  steady in around $10K.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock Market and Bitcoin on: May 10, 2018, 06:54:50 PM
Yes you need to study Crypto currency specifically, but not too much if you have lots of experience with Stock market. You need to learn the differences here, cause what we are dealing with is actually a currency (although nobody see it that way). You are not buying shares, you are buying money and then sell it.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First China Now South Korea on: May 10, 2018, 06:49:14 PM
The title of a similar post of this year should be,"First Facebook, and now Twitter" and the discussion would keep going about "Is google is going to be the next one?"
66  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mastering Blockchain - free eBook on: May 09, 2018, 10:51:15 AM
19MB!!! That's pretty big for an Ebook. Blockchain is something that you learn practically. Of course a book would help but I think you should learn it from your effort and work and experience, with just a little help from a book to understand the thoughts and meanings and mechanism.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Portfolio on: May 09, 2018, 09:04:23 AM
You should have more than one coin, cause it's not wise to put all your investment in a single coin. But there is no recommended number of coins or any specific coins that you should/must have in your crypto currency account. If you have the time and money, I suggest you to have 3 Altcoins along with Bitcoins, means 4 coins in total.
68  Other / Off-topic / Re: Suggest me a movie on: May 06, 2018, 03:41:13 PM
Little Big Soldier (2010). The original title is Da bing xiao jiang. I wouldn't call it a new movie but this one must be a movie to remember. I think this one is the best movie of Jackie Chang. The story was good, the ending was extreme.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Elevator down and stairs up for BTC? on: May 06, 2018, 03:37:17 PM
I agree, definitely elevator down and stairs up for Bitcoins. But I don't think the slow growth is the issue here. I believe the rapid fall is the trouble. My thoughts is, Bitcoin doesn't need to be high, it need to be stable.
70  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: some good info about bitcoin on: May 04, 2018, 05:18:51 PM
2.9 million to 5.8 millions in just a year! The unique users just got double in 1 year than from 8 years. Certainly we can declare 2017 as the year of the blockchain and crypto currency. Although some of the users here might think that most of the people were interested in Altcoins, but I believed the number of Bitcoin users are more than Altcoins and according to you, I am right.
71  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving merit on: May 01, 2018, 07:30:49 PM
Merit is like another currency or money here in Bitcoin Talk. You have to earn it, this is not a like button that is ready to be pressed as your thoughts. Merits grows economically here. If someone earn it, s/he can gave it to someone. Then that person can give to someone as well. And this is how the circle goes, unless someone believes in HODL and end the economy by saving them. Although money might become useful by saving but merits don't. You lose the opportunity to use it if you don't give it to someone else within the time.
72  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cybersec mentorship on: May 01, 2018, 07:16:53 PM
I didn't want to meant anything here, I just wanna say it. I think it would be better for you and all of us if you discuss your issues in the open. Personally seeking advice is not actually the way of a forum. People are really helpful around here, and they would love to help. But secrecy might ruin it. And there's another thing. Your post and replies might help the others as well.
73  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A-Z Mini Cryptocurrency Dictionary on: May 01, 2018, 07:12:04 PM
This is just wonderful. I wish I could give you some merits now. This is very very helpful, and not only for the beginners. I've never think of a crypto currency dictionary before. This is just great. Thanks.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Can it be possible for the whole wide world use a single currency? on: April 29, 2018, 06:19:00 PM
It is possible for the whole wide world to "accept" one or two currency, but I don't think it is possible to "use" a single currency in the entire world. You see, when bitcoin was first introduced, there was no need to have more than a thousand online money. But things happen. Almost every country accept dollars now. But that doesn't mean it's gonna be useful in the entire world. Economy is not the same in every country, the price of commodities varies from place to place. That's why this is probably not possible.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evolution of currencies on: April 29, 2018, 06:08:43 PM
Currency is not a power nor an energy. A currency does not need to have special ability or uses. It is just the medium of exchange. It is not essential to have other uses of a currency. It is the currency that make someone powerful or energetic. Just like oxygen, it doesn't burn but without it, you can't burn.
76  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Save your Bitcointalk account on: April 28, 2018, 06:16:42 PM
Although it's a repeated post but I really appreciate it. It's a reminder, and works wells cause it's informative. And I didn't see the text coloring before but now it looks good.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: April 25, 2018, 07:27:43 PM
Nope. I don't think so. I think Brian Singer is wrong. Bitcoin is not even designed to end any kind of poverty. Where World Poverty is far away. Bitcoin hasn't even reached the whole world yet and most likely, it's not going to.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the market red on: April 25, 2018, 07:20:05 PM
Of course your guy was wrong. It didn't require an analyst to know there's gonna be a boom. Even I knew there's gonna be a raise in the crypto currency market. And let me tell you, I believe the price will not fall up until June 2018. Not sure about July though, let's see what happen.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the Green Days back ? on: April 25, 2018, 06:53:07 PM
Maybe, maybe we are going back there. But certainly we are not there yet. Still we are long way behind. It's blue now, all we need is just some touch of yellow and then we will reach to the green you are talking about here.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Holding Strong on: April 22, 2018, 06:47:57 PM
I'm not that confident as you are. I don't think the price of bitcoin will keep the pace on. I think Bitcoin might going to be a stable currency. I know the time hasn't come yet but still I don't think the price or value of the BTC will keep rising like this week. The pace might keep heading up for a month or two, then again it will fall. I'm pretty sure this is what is gonna happen.
