241  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Big Tourneys-BONUS-Freerolls, Ring Games, Real Poker on: February 04, 2016, 03:49:08 AM
Thanks for the fast reply!

BTW as BetcoinPoker is the main/only issuer of its own poker chips, are those chips subject to chargeback?

That would be a problem if a scammer "poker player" falsely alleges someone else took his chips inappropriately. He asks BetcoinPoker for a chargeback and the lender (who sent some coins and held the chips as collateral) gets scammed...

Is there any way to avoid BetcoinPoker's chips chargebacks?
242  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Big Tourneys-BONUS-Freerolls, Ring Games, Real Poker on: February 04, 2016, 01:24:36 AM
Are Betcoin's players allowed to buy, sell, borrow, donate and transfer chips inside its platform?

Suggestion: maybe you should also create a Linux version of the software's platform featuring connection through TOR. And update the browser version to use only HTML5 instead of the (Adobe's defunct) Flash version.

^^ Not this time, thank you very much...  Roll Eyes
244  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] B&C Exchange - A decentralized exchange paying BTC dividends on: February 03, 2016, 02:52:20 AM
Talking about Bitshares, which projects are the main BCE's "competitors"?

Dunno if that info is already available inside BCE's documentation but I only know about:

OpenLedger (Bitshares)

And

Bitsquare (independent)

Everything else I've heard of are only (very embryonic) "decex" aborted attempts or (yet to prove) sidechains projects...

P.s. it's important to know what they're doing and "where" (in terms of development pace) they are.
245  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bitsquare.io - The P2P Fiat-Bitcoin Exchange on: January 31, 2016, 12:50:34 AM
is strange to me such a great project to not have the attention from the community. Keep the great work guys!
After (almost) one year from that comment, I feel the same about this project.

This project is a huge step further and beyond LocalBitcoins.

I hope you guys launch another crowdfunding campaign with an efficient previous PR work this time.

Somehow more marketing and advertising is needed for this project.

Following to see good news about bitsquare this year.

I wish you guys all success!

84% complete (Beta):

Not bad, not bad at all...

P.s. there's still time for summer olympics and presidential elections.  Wink

Capricoin is lited 2nd @ "MCrank" with > 400M, right after Bitcoin and 2x XRP, LTC and ETH: very strange...
248  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: January 30, 2016, 09:02:20 PM
But of that percentage they are still losing the chunk of players who were using browser version of pokersoftware.....not to talk about the ones who used to play from their smartphones and tablets

...and let me add the last consideration: in bitcoin world (where seals operates) I guess that those percentage (OS usage I mean) should be really different if not almost inverted.
OMG

Forget about OSs...

All those years have passed and SwC has no Browser version for players yet?

Come on...!!!

Thank you for those references.

Are those projects still alive?

http://zerocash-project.org

http://zercoin.org

http://z.cash

I haven't seen any action since 2014...  Undecided

They promise so much improvement towards privacy and anonymity.

Are there any active github repositories?

I just found this (inactive) one:

https://github.com/Zerocash

Is it all dead?  Huh

@TPTB_need_war

Very good (tech) articles/posts.

Very delightful to read. Thank you!

252  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Bored Loan. Looking for obscene amount, like 500 BTC. on: January 18, 2016, 03:26:58 AM
Someone should define what "Long-term" is for this sub-board.

Maybe > 1 month might be ok from a start point of view.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WorldCoinIndex.com - Cryptocurrency price index on: January 18, 2016, 02:37:05 AM
This is a great source of cryptocurrencies' info.

Very well done, congratulations!

The main difference that I noticed so far is that this one shows much more 24h volume than its competitor coinmarkecap. And sometimes the marketcap and supply also differs.

According to that, I think this option is more accurate and reveals the real status of each coin better.

Suggestion: keep the number "#" column fixed when the user changes the way/column he wants the coins sorted by.
i.e. 1st line always remains #1; 2nd line always #2; 3rd line #3 etc.

Edit: I did it work under the "Overview" tab...
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storjcoin X (SJCX) - A Coin for Decentralized Cloud Storage on: January 18, 2016, 01:28:16 AM
Are they gonna do several crowdsales diluting previous shares?

If so, that's gonna hurt...
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storjcoin X (SJCX) - A Coin for Decentralized Cloud Storage on: January 18, 2016, 01:09:05 AM
You have to have at least 10K SJCX coins in the wallet you're mining to in order to get rewards.

Whoa, that's about ~200 USD right now!

(Definitely) not for everyone...

next crowd-sale will kill this project.
Which specific crowdsale is going next that you're talking about?
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BlackHalo Smart Contracting Client!!! Download now! Happy Independence day! on: January 17, 2016, 05:03:35 AM
Is there a new thread for this?

Same thread, this is the only BlackHalo thread, no need to start another. Plus, the newest client is really awesome maybe one day people will start caring about crypto and use the software made for it.
OMG, I really don't know why this thread remains so small after almost 2 years of intensive and active development over this outstanding project.

Halo's team have my admiration for doing so much without presale coins, ICOs, IPOs, crowdfunding etc.

Congratulations!

Price Growth, no more volatility

An upcoming revolutionary change is coming to crypto-currency in the Halo platform. We are working on a currency that has the ability to inflate and deflate. Interest rates are controlled by votes and thus, users can grow their own coin in a stable fashion ending the era of the infamous “pump and dump”. You will be able to sell reserve bonds, perform advanced contracts and be your own bank. For Blackcoin, this sister currency will be a stable hedge adding health to the economy.

Isn't that idea already available and developed by the Nu project?

"currency that has the ability to inflate and deflate" = Nubits

"interest rates are controlled by votes" = Nushare holders vote Nubits' supply and park rates.

Wouldn't just be easier integrating that cryptosystem inside Halo?
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ShapeShift.io - Instant Coin Exchange - No Account Needed on: January 14, 2016, 12:53:41 AM
Suggestion: add NuShares - it's around top 20 Mktcap, strictly correlated to Nubits (it shares the same wallet and similar infrastructure) and Peershares - cryptocurrencies already available at SS - and its liquidity is increasing considerable at Poloniex.

Factom (FCT) would be a great addition too, as we can see by its recent improvements over development and liquidity at Poloniex.
258  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitgen - bitcoin and litecoin tool for addresses, signatures and encryption on: January 11, 2016, 02:59:09 AM
Nice to see support for altcoins.

Keep up the good work.
259  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: January 08, 2016, 01:49:42 AM
Maybe some signature campaign might help increasing pot's volume and lottery's visitors/gamblers.
260  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing PevPot.com The Bitcoin Lottery on: January 06, 2016, 05:14:09 AM
Nice and innovative lottery project. Congratulations!

It loosely reminds me of a crazy idea (not so +EV) I had long ago:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=409660.0

If marketing is well done, your project may become the Google of lotteries!  Grin

BTW (talking about Google) why not displaying AdWords like style of ads from sponsors alongside with their banners/images?

Pot decreased considerably...

Tip: raise min ticket purchase to .001 BTC so things get more interesting once more... Wink
Some more suggestions:

I think one draw every two days would be great after this project (pot) gets more gamblers' attention (money).

Although Sponsors should buy adds for a whole week in order to get exposure for their business.

Think about it!
