1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Luna Classic - Thoughts? on: July 29, 2022, 03:28:07 PM
The coins are dead, both Luna classic and Luna new. A tiny amount of 24h trading volume with no news about development. Your investment is small and you may think it's okay for losing all of it. Well, it's really up to you but my advice is don't keep holding it even when you see 2x profit.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to staking - is this worth it? on: July 04, 2022, 06:41:23 PM
Staking isn't worth right now since the market is bearish and volatile, you lost more than you are able to earn from staking. Not to mention many investment sites can also stop their service and you can't withdraw your stakes. Example: Celsius network, Voyager,...
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "I'll wait for the dip!" - The Crypto Noob Cycle on: July 04, 2022, 05:19:36 PM
Not the noobs, even the users who have been into the market for a longer time period does the same. Even when the price reaches low, people will look for further crash. This happens with users, for the reason to accumulate more if the market crashes. Most of the people doing this were the low volume holders who spend on investment sacrificing more funds allocated for life needs.
True, most small-time investors are like that. They want to get such a tiny amount of price difference hence always wait for a lower price and miss a chance, lol. Baller goes for DCA and looks for any time the price drop down to a certain point that he knows it will turn to be profitable a few years later.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 03, 2022, 06:55:28 PM
Airdrop are the low effort way to get rewards. Bounty programs require more effort and skill hence they are more likely to pay you a better reward compared to airdrop. If depent on you if you want to spend your time/effort or do you have the skill to participate in it.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uncertainty in the NFT market on: July 03, 2022, 06:51:17 PM
It's too late to make money from NFT, when I say this, I'm not saying that NFTs are over, it's just that the interest has decreased now, but it's something that won't disappear, I think you should stay away for now, but you can follow it. You should distribute your money in a safer way, if there is interest again, then if you make small nft purchases, I think you will have made a cautious entry into the market.
There’s still a buyer but not like before, maybe the bear market affects those investors again and they just want to own real coins with a good utility, NFTs right now is on a big trouble because if they can’t survive this bear market, what more in the future. If OP still decided with NFT, better to analyze again and go for the top NFTs, I just don’t advise to buy any NFT art here, that expensive art might not be worth it anymore in the future.
I think people force themselves to be smarter after every cycle of the bear market. It was the ICO and all of it variants back then, 2018. After the 2018 bear market has gone, no one care to those ICOs anymore. I think the same will happen to NTFs after this bear market is gone. Look for the next market trend instead of the already overhyped and lack of momentum NFTs.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of metaverse in crypto space on: July 03, 2022, 05:46:16 PM
You're right, NFT and the metaverse I guess are rudimentary concepts, but the bear market arrived sooner before they could perfect the concept. After the bear market ended, it seems that crypto's main focus will be on raising the NFT hype and metaverse again so that it becomes the perfect concept.
Both of them will not work or at least get enough support behind them. Even back when the market was in bull mode, NFTs failed to lift off and establish themselves. Metaverse on the other hand also suffers the same fate because they bring nothing to the crypto space. Even after this bear end, they might enjoy some raise thanks to market back to bull mode but I doubt they will lift off for real.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: July 02, 2022, 08:35:59 PM
2fa with mobile phone confirmation or email login code is the safest way for me. You can use 2fa alone but that leaves a lot of room to improve the security of your account. By pairing 2fa with an email login code or mobile phone login code, you'll have more leech way.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana survived the crash on: July 02, 2022, 08:16:39 PM
Solend a decentralized loan project build on solana network almost create what could have been another sad story in the development of crypto currencies  but wisdom from solana government and voters safe the day. We could have had the same story of Luna in our hand if not decisions to stop whales from dumping. Good one from solana team.
Last year Solana had a price at a high level of $250, and now it is only at $38,
is this what Solana means to survive the bear market? only SOL has experienced this,
we can't avoid this Bear market just by holding SOL, but for the long term,
of course Solana is one of the very good altcoin projects
Just hopium and nothing more. There will be a ton of people who will say that their coin "survived" the crash, and they will try to make sure that everyone thinks they are doing alright. In the reality, nothing really survived, even Bitcoin did horribly this year and if you think that there is a coin out there which defended this fall a lot and it is not down at all, I would love to see that.

Most of the time it's all about how people are approaching bear market with a grain of salt and trying to beat others for the recovery and that's it. SOL did not survive the crash, but if everyone believes it did, then it will have an easier time recovering from this crash.
Sol truly doesn't have a bright future ahead of it. I don't get why so many guys are up to shilling this coin when outages are like a normal thing in its operation time. And now they saying this coin survived the crash when it just fall along the line like any other altcoin.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: July 02, 2022, 06:54:13 PM
Never thought I would prefer govt regulation to crypto but this is it. Yes, we're in need of regulation of crypto so we can attract more hedge funds and investors to our crypto market. So we can see a new craze of net inflow of money into crypto instead stuck in the bear market like this.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: July 01, 2022, 06:57:25 PM
Any price could happen is a mathematical possibility, but what people who say this don't usually understand is that we're more likely to go to zero than to any big imagined number that we haven't achieved yet. I know 15k is as possible as 50k but in THIS market, 15k has to be more likely yes?
Right now? Yes, $15k seems more likely than $50k, in my opinion. I don't even know why there are the $50k numbers. At least, if all the good news and some luck, we could bound back to the $30k range maybe.   But since we are talking about what was behind the market, trader and investor expectation, strong selling seem like the overall trend in the market.

It's my opinion but in this case I don't think opinion is as strong as fact. The fact is, we are just above 20k now, so to drop to 15k, we need only a 25% value loss. To reach 50k, we would need 250% value gain. And in this economy?

It's fine to be optimistic and I'm definitely optimistic long term but we can't sacrifice our vision and choose to ignore what's right in front of us. Ignoring that puts us in a worse position later.
Damn, you're right. Looks at how the BTC price now, just under $20k and everything seems grim. Feels odd how last week, since it was over $20k and everyone come out with their hope on its price going up. Now, just under $20k and we bite our tongue, talk about it going to lower.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ALT season year ? on: June 27, 2022, 06:06:53 PM
If people know when the next bullish season to come and im sure there will be massive buy in the market but no one in here know when it will be coming again. It may probably next year, next year and next year.
Im sure if it will not come again late of this year caused by bitcoin is stay sideway for now and i think that no eta about when it will be going up again. As long as bitcoin will always going up steadily and that means if the bullish trend may come very soon.

The market price reflects our greed and fear. Right now, fear dominated so I doubt anyone talks about the next alts season and thinks it was nearby or upcoming. That they could predict it because the market doesn't set in stone.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: June 27, 2022, 05:12:55 PM
Hope means nothing when we have a war ongoing that could threaten and drag the whole world into it. I just want to be realistic, 20k is okay for now but I don't see much hope on BTC able to keep over that line for long.
That "any price could happen" is the thing that people with mental capacity to understand logical outcomes could conjure up and not many other people. There aren't enough people who can see the realities of the market and realize that 15k is as much possible as 50k in this market and none of them should be out of bounds, they are all logical outcomes depending on the outcome of what we do, which is buying or selling.

If the market decides that it is risky to hold, and start selling more than buying then the market will go down, or if vice versa happens then we are going to go up. If people can't see that and try to find a number that makes more sense than the other number, they will lose.

Well, I also don't really like to say it, especially when people unfamiliar with Bitcoin or crypto talk to me about it BUT to be fair though, that really is the reality of it.

Any price could happen is a mathematical possibility, but what people who say this don't usually understand is that we're more likely to go to zero than to any big imagined number that we haven't achieved yet. I know 15k is as possible as 50k but in THIS market, 15k has to be more likely yes?

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stake most of my USDT, it is better to stake it as USDT or USDC or DAI ? on: June 27, 2022, 02:18:46 PM
It's better if you stake in not only 1 stable coin but multi ones to reduce the risk in case something happened to that stable coin. There is plenty of stable coins offered staking like BUSD, USDD, DAI,.. You should spread out over them.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: June 26, 2022, 08:28:33 PM
Not really. The true decentralized currency can never be regulated by the government. The only way they can regulate crypto currency is through an indirect way. The government can take control (regulate) those centralized exchange, wallets and crypto currencies. So anyone as long as they are not using those centralized institution or interacting with fiat currency will be able to evade those regulation.
Indeed. Since it is decentralized, cannot be regulated by the government. But DEX can be regulated by making some regulations for them. And the government also can apply crypto taxes both for payment purposes and for investment (digital assets). Although the government cannot fully regulate crypto with this policy, it can bring effect quite a lot of crypto users. The government may have no power to regulate crypto world, but they can regulate the use of crypto in their country.

The sooner they do it the better it will. It is a good source of gathering tax as well. IT will benefit both the people and the users.
People are happy and enjoy where the government is regulating it. But where crypto is banned ... it is a stress for the gamblor. They look for the alternative all the time.

DEX only reduces the effect of govt regulation to some extent, not complete as full tho. Because as always, govt can still request those DEXs to give the user's information which they can track and inquire about or force that person to pay tax,...
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna holders will get new token. on: June 26, 2022, 07:44:44 PM
I saw that the Luna coin market went up drastically today, maybe this happened unexpectedly because when the Luna coin was not trusted and many were selling it suddenly the price started to rise as evidence that the Luna coin will recover even though it takes time to rise.
LUNC has the same pump right now. It seems like both LUNA and LUNC have the trade volume so low now that any move from whale to accumulate those two will have a strong impact on its price.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are the Miners acting as the biggest whale! on: June 26, 2022, 07:15:58 PM
I wouldn't trust the Hash Ribbons indicator from LookIntoBitcoin. I'm not sure where they are getting their hash rate data from, but it's very different than the original indicator on trading view:

As you can see, LIB indicator shows a bullish crossover with the MA30 and MA60, indicating hash rate recovery. While the original indicator shows nothing of the sort. I've otherwise been documenting the ongoing "miner capitulation" for anyone interested. Currently the average mining cost is back below current price, so hash rate remains relatively stable.

The capitulation signal is therefore based on lack of growth, rather than hash rate decline. The buy signal would otherwise arrive with a MA bullish crossover, as well as price returning to $30K. The fact that miners have been heavily dumping their coins I otherwise find a good thing, to me it means they don't have a backlog of coins to sell for further capitulation right now.

Since you seem like an expert about BTC miners here, do you think the recent amount of heavy dump from miners has anything to do with the Ukraine-Russia war? Cause from what information I know, a lot of BTC mining farms were in Ukraine because of the cheap price of electricity. Then bam, the war forced those miners hastily sell their bags to bail out because of the disruption in business, have pay back loans.
I also agree with your assessment, less amount of BTC in miners' bags is a good thing.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance signs Cristiano Ronaldo for exclusive partnership to push NFTs on: June 25, 2022, 06:28:03 PM
...Over the course of the agreement, Binance and Cristiano Ronaldo will create a series of NFT collections for sale exclusively on the Binance NFT platform. The first NFT collection will be released later this year and feature designs created in collaboration with Ronaldo.
The Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collections will be available exclusively on Binance NFT at www.binance.com/en/nft/home...

Given the fact that the number of Cristiano Ronaldo Twitter followers is more than 100 million, these NFT will have to be in high demand. And Cristiano Ronaldo has already posted a corresponding tweet for his fans: https://twitter.com/Cristiano/status/1539972040291061765 Binance, for its part, will definitely increase the number of users who were not previously familiar with the crypto currency.

It does not end there. He has more than 150 million followers on Facebook and almost 460 million followers on Instagram. The guy could easily start a country if he wanted.
It is undeniable that this will bring cryptocurrencies and NFTs closer to the ignorant masses, but I wonder if Ronaldo's agent will insist that he be paid in cash, rather than crypto, for all of this. Grin

The number seems impressive but how many of them have ever heard about crypto or even NFTs? Do you want a number of people who don't understand anything about crypto and NFTs to join the market? God, the FOMO and panic sell will be off chart.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: June 25, 2022, 05:11:36 PM
Although I think BTC will go lower in the next season but it will be abrupt and shortly. Overall autumn will see BTC slowly rise and out of the bear market.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UST will re-peg by next week Do Kwon interview on: June 25, 2022, 03:26:14 PM
lol, seems like another attempt by Do Kwon, the scammer to rally his shitcoin LUNA2. No one would insane enough to trust the guy anymore and the LUNA2 is a dead coin, lost all the momentum because without any real use case and purpose, it can't exist in the crypto market. People should just give up.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you "trust" the most? on: June 24, 2022, 05:41:19 PM
BUSD for me since the Binance exchange has been transparent and thorough enough in their way to deal with crypto business. This of course doesn't mean all my stable coins were in BUSD, just split between both USDT and BUSD for a lower risk.
