81  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold: which has been more of a safe-haven asset in 2020? on: June 09, 2020, 03:41:45 PM
Neither of them could be considered as 'safe haven asset' as their track record in 2020 so far is very disappointed. To be fair, since the corona virus, many kind of assets in the red zone or uncertain zone. That's why I think the question should be which asset is more resistant at this time and my answer is gold.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check Liquidity Before you invest on: June 08, 2020, 02:01:03 PM
I saw too many times people invest blindly without checking the basic like liquidity. They only care about the price which very easy to manipulate if low liquidity or trading volume. I think only newbies making this kind of mistake because no way a veteran trader wouldn't check this before investing.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deposit alerts notification on: June 07, 2020, 02:09:45 PM
There are plenty of apps that can have a sort of timing for checking-up your address every minute or so and push notifications. Though, I don't see any reason why you want annoying notifications about any new token in your address.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Devs please have some respect on: June 06, 2020, 11:24:27 AM
It seems developers don't know what they are doing, many of them that put blames on bounty hunters for price dump , they must be high on drugs or something, this is just simple arithmetic

A devs create a coin with 100 million supply

He decide to do IEO with 50 million coins of the supply

He decide to do IEO at the price of 0.1$

But to attract investors he introduce a discount of 0.05$

He was lucky to see many investors investing in the project even when he chooses not so good exchange

And price surge over 3.5$

Please tell me, how will investors hold the coins when they see gains that can take them years of holding to achieve???

Developers you are the main problem affecting your coins and tokens, bounty hunters only share up to 1% of your max supply, have some respect
Can you clarify which coin is this? If all of the things you said are true then really, how could dev and his team put the blame of 1% share of circulating supply? Also, the surge over 3.5$ kinda suspicious for IEO project after it going for sale like that. Maybe he wants to blame the bounty hunters because they sold during dev's pump and dump scheme to lure in buyers lol?
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Crypto Tax Haven Countries on: June 06, 2020, 11:16:00 AM
If you are living in any of these countries then you should go ahead and start a cryptocurrency business as you will pay zero tax for trading, holding and on your earnings.

1. Iran
2. Portugal
3. Malaysia
4. Singapore
5. Malta
6. Belarus
7. Germany
8. Switzerland

I am only aware of the above eight if your country falls in this list then do comment or if you are in a country, where every transaction get taxed. I am trying to compile a list.

Singapore and Switzerland are easily the best out of that list. Iran honestly, you're gonna have a lot of other things to worry about other than crypto tax and such. The rest of the list is fine too but some countries have a very strict personal income tax so be careful of judging a book by its cover.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it true that now only few bounties scams? on: June 03, 2020, 12:52:02 PM
Nope, there are plenty of bounties scams out there, not only a few. What you didn't see or know about those scams because they aren't outcried to pull an exit as they used to before. Usually, they try to misinformation first to throw people off-hook, said there are problems to check and bounties will be pay at later, excuse and such like that to prolong bounty hunters attention. Just a way to lessen the angry and public attention toward their scams one they run off.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Airdrop scam detected on: May 25, 2020, 12:18:24 PM
So do you know or use any site related to ntradingbot and how did they know your personal email? I know as long you don't click suspicion link or spam then you're safe but letting your personal email exposed to scammers and their network is still worrisome.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram Crypto Trollbox on: May 22, 2020, 02:24:50 PM
Sure, I would love to join a trollbox where 11k members are mostly filled with bots so they could hype up a random coin and shill your ear off. Honestly, I don't know why people would gullible enough to think they would found something out of the telegram groups.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto giveaway scams and how to spot them on: May 18, 2020, 10:18:25 AM
So most of your take is on the impersonation trick to scam people into believing they are real. Cool, I guess but this kind of scam is quite old. Unless you ain't very bright, everyone could spot this scam tricks mile away.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some good Dex Exchanges on: May 15, 2020, 02:17:10 PM
Never trust a book by its cover. If you chose an exchange solely by its volume then you are in for a surprise. I like your list which includes a few small dex exchanges with low volume. Thanks, I will try to see if any one in that list good enough for use if there is a project on them.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Million money is a wrong way, if truly you owant to invest in crypto currency on: May 10, 2020, 11:31:46 AM
Well this is nothing new. Ponzi scheme know quite well no one sane enough to invest directly in them so they have to be creative to make layers of legitimate or popular platform to lure people in. No matter what claim they are telling you, ponzi = scam and you should stay away.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did hex already do 100x in 2020? on: May 05, 2020, 01:09:49 PM
I take a look at HEX chart and the only thing come to my mind is another PUMP AND DUMP coin. Grin
Nothing indicates how the hell it got to that high so when in doubt, take the worst possible case that I think this one is pump.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: !! WARNING !! Fake ANN Threads with MALWARE on: April 30, 2020, 01:16:44 PM

!! WARNING !!

For some reason this project has become a target of some malicious actors who are attempting to spread malware by providing fake downloads to TrueCrypto-OSS. I have removed all direct download links from the posts in this thread and all download links now point directly to the relevant GitHub download page, where you will have to click the file you wish to download from there.

In the future when I post updates, I will be adopting this new practice as well.

In the meantime, the only binaries which are considered to be "safe" are located here:
https://github.com/truedividendcryptocurrency/truecrypto-oss/releases/latest
I checked the thread report on the fake ANN thread that tries to mimic the real True Dividend Crypto ANN thread by suprnurd. This is clearly a well-prepare and malicious attack on your thread and your project. There people are really wicked. Thanks to Lafu to spot out this.
Anyway, if I don't have enough 5,000 TDC to make a MN, are there any share MN pool or service available?
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: April 27, 2020, 12:50:03 PM
That's like spreading fake news. If a project did that then you better jump off the ship as soon as possible cause projects like that actively try to spread fake news and misinformation are the worse. Your time and money better off else.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops allowed here? on: April 25, 2020, 01:19:15 PM
Airdrops, bounties, giveaways,... Yes, you could find a lot of change to do all kind of things like that in here, bitcointalk forum. Tho nothing is really free, by participating in those you actually help to promote them. The easier to get, the less chance its worth in exchange or sometime, worthless so chose carefully.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dForce attacker returns all $25M stolen funds in FULL on: April 22, 2020, 12:45:57 PM

There is more to it.
I am suspecting it might be an insider work. Most hacks that have been done, I believe would have the consent of someone who knows about the project or sometimes who is even part of the team. He pr she might not get it done by himself or herself, but might employ the service of an outsider, by providing some sensitive information.
If it is well investigated, I believe that there will be some connections.
At least, I am glad that te fund is back and I wish other hacks are traced and funds retrieved.
I'm thinking of that too. The way the hacker returns the stolen money so easy that looks like he knew he can settle with dForce in the count, to lessen his punishment. He going to get a punishment in jail for this crime, right? Anyone here comes from Singapore to provide us more information and rumor about this case?
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIRATE] A zk-SNARKS only blockchain, Tor, secured by dPoW and BTC hashrate on: April 17, 2020, 10:15:36 AM
It would be cool if somehow PIRATE being used for funding pirate, warez, cracker group to help them crack game. Especially Denovo DRM right now quite hard and no progress in the scene.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SPYCE - Rise of Web 3.0 - LISTED on PROBIT (Trade Now!) on: April 13, 2020, 12:13:03 PM
Big exchanges will greatly improve the value and this is what any project needs to make liquidity better. In my opinion it will not take too much time and you should hope more because SPYCE is very much interested and the price increase will only be a matter of time. This is just my personal prediction and it all depends on what the team will do next.
Of course, big exchanges would help more people know about SPYCE but I think we need to do everything step by step. SPYCE need a stronger community and their support before taking on big exchanges to have a healthy amount of trading. Supply and demand all the way.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is BCH∙BSV’s upcoming halving event affecting its prices? on: April 08, 2020, 01:32:35 PM
BCH∙BSV could try to mimic what having effect happens on Bitcoin but I doubt it as everyone knows about BCH∙BSV already.
