1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another 5000 Miner BTC Sent To Binance- another dip? on: June 25, 2022, 04:37:21 PM
I'm sane enough to understand where 5000 BTC would be in this market right now. Yes, it's a big amount, but not really when it comes to impact. In this market, there are tons of whale shark deals that on such a scale can cause additional confusion. The current situation has been bleak as many coins have dropped in price since hitting ATH, but the next dumping issue I am looking at is the worsening economic situation, not an easy recovery.
And what do you think when the miner deposited that 5,000 BTC into Binance also has the same thinking? Whale, shark or whatever small fish in the pond as well. This is what set the market in bearish mode with any sign that seems normal could be interpreted as the next dip, a new low -> more sellers than buyers and more volatility. Just like this thread.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin FUD is for losers. BE A WINNER. Stay Cool- Be Positive =D on: June 24, 2022, 06:11:24 PM
In time like this. I usually buy in DCA method while turning off all the notification for my social media and news site so I can’t see any news about Bitcoin. I literally disconnected to the crypto so that my decision on buying will not be affcted by FUD. I just keep on buying and buyin using part of my salary at my job and save my signature campaign salary until Bitcoin finally recover. I don't want to miss the next bull run so I will grab this opportunity to buy below 100k.
Why would you do that? Information is just information, even FUD. The one who makes the final decision to buy or sell is you. Let's say in the worse possible situation, Bitcoin got a compromise and everyone rushed to sell the coin, how would you feel if you don't know about it and missed the chance to cut loss? Sound like a lot of people in this thread has become a Bitcoin cultist, not a sensible, cool-head investor anymore.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: October 20, 2021, 07:32:18 PM
I remember in 2017 we talked about "the flippening" when BCH was gonna pass BTC .. haha  Grin Grin good times.

But seriously, BCH is very undervalued.
Look at BCH/BTC chart.. The lowest it has been since 2017.
BCH Community growing - BTC heading towards 135k this year (possibly 200k)

some alts will go vertical quickly.

Well, I wouldn't place my bet on BCH's community since... Did you see how conversations are ongoing in this thread? Although many were BCH supporters, still have different ideas about what is the best for BCH, what direction it must go,... discuss not really in a civil manner at all. Yeah, totally not counting on BCH's community.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Volatile Gwei Gas Fees help! on: October 19, 2021, 08:01:11 PM
Okay how do you prevent transactions from failing?

If im paying miners a fee for them to work to make transaction successful like you mentioned, then why transaction comes back as failed?

What do you mean no connection with the metamask wallet? All other eth wallets are fine except metamask for gas fee refunds?
If the fee you set and paid isn't recommended by the network then it will really be stuck. But if you paid the recommended fee then there's a sudden surge to the fee set by the miners then it'll be delayed.

If you track your transaction there's an estimated time of confirmation of it. The fees for ERC20 tokens really suck and too much and that's why before you send any token, think of it if it's worth it for you to pay their recommended fee.

Is there a difference between stuck and failed transactions?

Fail transactions means your tokens are not sent but you still have to pay gas fee for the failed transaction?

Stuck means it has been sent, stuck somewhere on the ethereum chain but eventually will get to the receiver but at a long time?
That's right.

Stuck is just delayed transaction.

While the failed transaction, you have to re-do the process because your transaction has never been processed and never gone through. So how's your transaction doing?

If you pay for the not recommended fee then you're likely to get both, it really depends to the network and how much the miners fee are.
Wasn't that you can spend more gas to speed up the stuck/in-hang-of-waiting trasaction? So why would you get both failed and stuck if I speed up the transaction?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 19, 2021, 07:38:45 PM
SOL and ADA. SOL has been pumped so hard so most people were against the idea to buy it or look forward to its next bull run but I think this coin still has a lot of room to grow and many NFT coins going to flock over its network pretty soon. For ADA well I think the inactive for its in this year so there might be a chance it was overlooked look and I'm waiting for its pump at the next bull run.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your shitcoins? on: October 12, 2021, 06:43:15 PM
If Bitcoin surges, shitcoins go up LESS, if Bitcoin goes through a dip, shitcoins go down MORE. Bitcoin is currently only a few percentages from ATH. Everything in this part of the bull cycle might be only for Bitcoin.
I don't want to say much about the value of shitcoin at the moment although I still favor it, but maybe in the near future, when bitcoin becomes more and more important with legalization from many countries around the world. It is a better focus than the rest of the market. I think most shitcoins should be deleted if it's worthless.
It won't be ok Smiley)

bitcoin drops 10% then shitcoin drops 1000%, and when bitcoin goes up there are no surprises but purported shitcoin pumps.

Of course, shitcoins will take the hit from Bitcoin harder than altcoins but please do not forget most shitcoins are in accumulate phase. They bought them because they thought it will be worth more in the future. Most don't buy shitcoins for the short term gain. I know most people have shitcoins will simple hodl as long as they can if it doesn't meet their price mark, usually over n time of entry price.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Chia Coin Mining become unprofitable - the coin has fallen in price by 3 times on: October 12, 2021, 06:38:07 PM
Hi everybody!
I'm from Russian Bitcointalk and I want to listen what English language crypto community thinking about XCH.
Right now in Kazakhstan im starting building the biggest XCH farming center.
We are going to create more than 50k plotts in the begging of this project.
I know that XCH price right now is too low, but I was waiting to this lows to start it and Im ready for 50-100USD price for Chia.
We are ready to farm for 3 years without any Chia cash outs, I think we need to wait the first halving and then we will see.
Also we are going to farm Chia forks.
What do you think about it? Am I crazy? Smiley

Yes crazy because myself here saw people selling hdd in big amount.1st i wanted buy it then before buying im calculated: 34TB he was selling for 600$. Chia calc showing for 34TB is 1.25$ per day if diff stays like this. so i need 480days to ROI or it says 8month to find block if you lucky. in other hand i can buy chia coin for 160$. So for 600$ i can buy 4XCH which is more smart choice.instead spending all headache with hdd just buy coin and hodl if you believe this project will be good.
So what is going for Chia coin now? As mining is unprofitable, I'm wondering how anyone still sells it cheap unless they got the coin really easy with no effort or whatever. Are the only miners in the scene is the one who got in the coin in the very early days? Though many Chia miners also start to sell off their HDD mining farm and opt to buy the coin instead if they think its value will go higher in the future.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin listed on Coinbase pro on: June 02, 2021, 01:05:55 PM

No one saw it coming, I used to play with 2 million pieces of doge coin in 2016 because it was so damn cheap at the time and one day I just decide to sell it off, sometimes it's always good to hodl honestly because you may never know what comes next
I remember when doge only used to send wallet balance between exchanges. Said you have little money in one exchange and want to send it to another, most people would use ltc but some exchange has high fee so doge comes to recuse. I always think if the crypto market going up to the point maybe a joke and meme coin like doge would become a player since its low fee. Wish I had more confidence in my assert.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: September 03, 2020, 06:05:36 PM
Yes, if you know how to trade, it's the way to growing your bag, making enough amount to live by it. Tho, you need a lot of time for chart reading, trade back and forth in tiny amount of profits just for sure it wasn't risky. So, as long as you have time, yes its possible to make a living by trading cryptocurrencies alone.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in NEO now? on: August 30, 2020, 04:22:12 AM
Why should you ? From my opinion, we better invest our money in Ethereum coin.
Or DEFI related projects, because many good and promising projects has been created with DEFI purpose.
But if you found a good information that i still don't know about NEO, you can buy it.
DEFI is a new trend that has a lot of hype and many investors don't really understand it to invest in. I think NEO still a bit better when to be considered it with any new DeFi projects. Of course, it may not have a very high ROI in a short amount of time like DeFi but it less risky. And NEO has some good pump like the one in today which increases 20% so NEO is a very worthy investment.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 30, 2020, 04:07:38 AM
No, the supply level is fixed and transparent ain't give cryptos enough edge to be seen as more valuable than gold. Gold has many edges over cryptos like it was a real thing, used a back up for many fiats and banking systems.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 23, 2020, 10:27:14 PM
I haven't paid attention to crypto ratings since 2018. After the hard crash on Bitcoin price and many other altcoin, those ratings mean worthless too me. All about the crypto market and crypto rating company won't able to lead it anywhere they want to, manipulate their rating reports.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 23, 2020, 10:13:18 PM
There are no updates on this project and of course this project can be said to be over, so the coins you have in your wallet will not be valuable, save it maybe in the future there will be a miracle..
Please don't play with his hope like that with miracle stuff. The best thing for him right now is just moving on and stop wasting his time, his energy on thinking his dead coin can return.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 23, 2020, 06:30:02 PM
These are majorly the reasons. But most hunters also just joined campaigns just to make some earnings. The hardly understand the technology behind the project. All that matters to them is to sell and earn whatever they can get.
True, some don't see or understand the benefit of the coin and just want something, anything for their work in the bounty, no matter how low it could be. Sure you can do that but it was a very ill-advised thing to do. At least, bounty hunters understand why they want to sell (based on OP's list) is much better.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: August 23, 2020, 06:12:04 PM
Since the first day, bitcoin, and cryptos starting to form around the idea of a decentralized currency, governments already give on trying to control it. They only have some regulations for the end users site like exchanges and such. This is showing that being decentralized is the most important aspect for new cryptos.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always consider and be a wise investor! on: August 23, 2020, 02:44:37 AM
I think similar to you, we passed the golden time already where a few mishaps can be fixed cause there are plenty of good opportunities and investments. But there is none cause today, the market isn't less forgiving like the old. You definitely need to smart up and wiser in today's crypto market.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 22, 2020, 06:38:05 PM
Indeed it is all about how you hodl and manage your crypto bag. Doesn't mean focus solely on trading or investment less important. If your timing right about which crypto bag on long hodl or short hodl, along with others, you maximize your gains.
