Mining on phones? Wont this affect performance? Heating, excessive battery drainage

You never know the answer unless you try. Let it be known that this app is very light and efficient.

From the TAU blockchain lab in Cambridge, UK, we build an open-source energy-efficient Phone Mined Coin (PMC). PMC technology enables your phone to mine crypto assets free from linking commercial servers.

For example, any phone can mine “London PMC”, which is exclusive to London in the PMC world. Londoners will see the coin natively living in the app and use them for payment, chat and advertisement. The global phones network will secure and grow the city blockchain collectively.

TAU's open-source Web3 app brings you the Proof of Transaction mining technology based on groundbreaking server-less communication. PMC, unlike BTC, is a light power option to build crypto assets. It is estimated that each phone can mine 100 crypto cities at the same time!

Is there a profit-switching algo in this pool?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore rigs unhandled crushes on: December 28, 2018, 01:05:40 AM
I know some Mining Pool that assists you 24/7 if you mine with them. They are pretty awesome tho, a lot of good feedback from the community.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New revolutionary software for cryptocurrency mining on: December 28, 2018, 01:01:52 AM
Can I connect to the pool which is not on your list?
Since we have our own approach to software development, only we can add pools ourselves, and you can only choose.
What pools does it have?
Now you can connect to the following pools:
- Antpool
- Bitfly-Ethermine
- BTCC
- Coinmine
- Dwarfpool
- F2pool
- Kano
- Litecoinpool
- Nanopool
- NiceHash
- Poolsexy
- Sigmapool
- Slushpool
- Sparkpool
- Suprnova
- 2Miners
- ViaBTC
What is about equihash? Will you add it?
We will add everything that can be useful for a miner and bring more benefits.
So what new functions are you going to add?
We can't say you exactly. But profitswitching will be added in any case.

If profit switching-algo will be implemented like Whalesburg Pool, the would be f*ckin' great. Pools are constantly improving in terms of profitability. You should consider this as an option for the future feature to be added.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner Equihash Miner, Update: Dec 17th: lolMiner 0.6 release on: December 26, 2018, 12:28:57 AM
There's more race between the most profitable mining nowadays but they aren't giving the right comparison between pools. In terms of profitability and consistency, it should be visible to everyone. In whattomine.com, they have no specific data which pool excels.

LEt's break that norms. Try Whalesburg Mining Pool and see the difference.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My latest adventures with GTX 1080 mining on: December 26, 2018, 12:23:55 AM
Is mining on GPUs still profitable for you guys?  I have pretty much given up on GPU mining at the moment due to the market downturn.

Yes, of course. Look at this most profitable mining pool today that utilize auto-switching algorithm.
The mere fact that there is plenty of miner mining without closing their farms/mining rigs proved that mining is still profitable today.

Whalesburg is rocking!

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Marlin Protocol | Network Layer Privacy and Scalability Solution for Blockchains on: October 24, 2018, 01:06:24 PM
From what I had picture out in mind of this so called new project this will highly rely on network maker or masternode.
Overlay network layer is interesting when embodied with privacy. Is this some kind of disruption of some big content provider like netflix or youtube?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: July 26, 2018, 01:32:18 PM
Hi,
I created this topic to probe: What coin do you HOLD in 2018?
HOLD from early 2018 to end of 2018.
I HOLD: BTG, ETH and BNB (Each coin about 3k USD), i hope it will be up to 9k each coin ^^

I have too many to mention but the big shares are ethereum, Kucoinshares, Adex and of course Waves, I expect to make a good profit from these coins that I have a good number of shares, I am following their development and everything looks good on all these coins.

You should include Vechain and PundiX in your big shares portfolio, you will never regret choosing those coins since Vechain pays more than 8x of what NEO pays in gas. PundiX pays 7% of your holding monthly.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why am i here? on: July 26, 2018, 06:38:25 AM
Truth needs to be told.
If you ask so many people why they are on this forum, some may not outrightly admit to the fact.
Let us face the fact, majority of us are here to make money. How we then make it varies. Some through trading, bounty campaigns, mining, airdrop, investments and so on. Which means our primary aim is on making money.
Another thing now is how to acquire the knowledge.
Bitcointalk forum is a good place to acquire knowledge and that is why different people come up with different questions and some also have good suggestions to give.
Nonetheless, the whole thing boils down to making money.
Blockchain technology is a free space. So, gain the knowledge and make your money in a legit way.

Money is the basic reason why we are here. But if you have enough money for the living, you tend to find another reason why you are here. And the reason for that is freedom. Freedom from conventional faulty system who enslaves everyone about identity theft, privacy and data fraud.

It's not just about money. if you have a vision like Satoshi Nakamoto, you will the bigger picture why you are here.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Research Ico on: July 24, 2018, 04:42:12 AM
How, do you make your own research ?

First is there is a certain guideline that I consider in researching. And that is the verification of every information provided by a certain ICO provider.

Being transparent team is a must.

Second is you need to understand what makes this coin valuable in the near future (demand).

Third, what is he unique attributes of this coin which will stand above others.

Fourth, is there any product that this coin upholds?

If you answer all those question positive plus hearing some forum opinion, you will likely to end up in good investment.
