41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do now??? on: July 10, 2018, 11:03:48 PM
Its a huge dilemma but the decision remains personal, whether to join the selloff, hodl or buy. Personally i would still go with hodl.

That is the best idea in this market, don't join those people who got rekt by panic selling. It will soon pay off when bull takes the market. We just have to wait when it will happen.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much TPS do we need? (Transaction Per Second) on: July 09, 2018, 08:39:57 AM
Hi,

How much TPS do we need in the real world? (Transaction Per Second)

I see many nice projects, but i'm not sure these projects are still alive after some years.
- Ethereum max 20 TPS
- Bitcoin Max 3-7 TPS
- ICON (ICX) 9000+ TPS
- Wanchain Unknown
- Ark 5TPS
- EOS 100.000 TPS (not sure they will reach it)

- Hashgraph 500.000 TPS (not yet available)
- Quarkchain 100.000 TPS (only did 3000 now)

So how much do we need do you think?

Solana currently in private presale mode (TGE is Jan 2019) have a test net of 400,000TPS.
We don't need that 1Million TPS or so, we just have to overcome the speed of Visa/Mastercard transaction which is around 10,000TPS and we are good to go. In the end, security is the most important.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ETHERDELTA IS DOWN, HALF OF MY FUNDS ARE THERE, WHAT SHOULD I DO? on: July 08, 2018, 02:19:45 PM
That's why many people will suggest don't keep your asset in exchanges better you need to divert your money after buying them to your concerned wallet in order to be secured. Don't completely relay on exchanges.

I'm glad that I made to withdraw the tokens. New CEO in ED is the New problem indeed. Greedy team, I almost tend to believe the hacking was inside job.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How risky to invest in cryptocurrency? on: July 07, 2018, 09:15:20 PM
How risky for beginner to invest in cryptocurrency? What kind of risk factor and what are the precautions?

ICO was so risky that it could even eat your investment alive if you fall for scams. Stay away from shady ICO. If you're planning to take ICO DYOR first. Never invest because it was advertise referred to or suggest by friends or relatives. t the end tyou will suffer/face the consequence and not them if it turns out to be bad/good investment.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: July 07, 2018, 09:12:19 PM
I usually hoard ETH for ICO purposes. Seldom I use Bitcoin because ETH is more efficient and less fee. Unlike Bitcoin that takes 10mins or more depends in the clogging/congestion of network.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know fake Airdrop project on: June 28, 2018, 05:40:35 PM
Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake

You can hardly spot which is a trash airdrop. Only few of airdrop really have the value. Besides, it's free and nothing to lose if it turns out to be useless other than your time provided to get that particular token. It's some kind of game and luck. Sometimes it's valuable, most of the time it's not.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The End Of The Bounty. on: June 25, 2018, 05:21:05 PM
It would be very quick to say that the rewards will cease to exist in the near future because the blockchain technology can be used in different areas and I think there are many ideas to emerge, which if I give the reason is that the demand for participants in bounties It is high and it will be harder to be part of one.

If we have more bounty manager like actmyname, bounty campaign would still be profitable in the future. We need bounty manager that uphods to protect bounty hunters and at the same time scrutinized those shit-poster in the forum.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How it works? on: June 23, 2018, 07:38:40 PM
Seeing how many projects that conduct ICO are listed in Exchange at lower prices than it was stated during the ICO, investors continue to invest in projects.
Why are they still doing this?
I'm not talking about scammers...
Sorry for my English.

Those because right now so many weakhand investors who sold cheap.
Also the bounty hunters (if the project have bounty), will sell the tokens at any price because they get them for free.
If the project is really good, you just have to wait token price rising.

Actually bounty hunters get it NOT for free. It includes hardwork in advertising. Shame on you who also as a bounty hunters thinks you get it for free. Everything has a price. Either goods or services, you can't have it for free. When you do bounty, you invest time in it.

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We trust in crypto! on: June 22, 2018, 03:03:25 PM
How long do you think will the cryptocurrency be popular? Does she substitution the usual fiat money? How many years will pass before this?

I think this will come in no time as long as regulations will be imposed accordingly. This uncertainty is basically the outcome of unregulated market.
That is why many institutional investor is skeptical in entering cryptocurrency space. They are afraid of what government can do to its existent since it is some kind of threat towards banksters.

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: June 20, 2018, 03:22:40 PM
The competition of this two is very intense that Neo has been growing very quickly and Ethereum is the second most popular cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. This two are similar in what they offer and serve more than a single purposes. Unlike Bitcoin which is a digital currency. But technologically Neo is better because it supports more multiple programming languages, unlike Ethereum allows only one language solidity.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Punishment for ICO for being scammed. on: June 20, 2018, 03:20:41 PM
Is there any posible way to filter who are going to make an ICO to be able to know if there are scam or not? And is there any bodies of law that would be able to punish them once they turn into scam. And what punishment should be given upon committing such the crime?
So far there are no way to punish those making scammed ICO and there will be no regulatory body that will do since crypto is decentralized and people doing scam are anonymous.

Wrong, you can sue them in SEC for such fraudulent act regardless of the jurisdiction as long as it involves money. Just go to the nearest SEC and sue the Team behind fraudulent ICO. That is if you knew the team behind. Some shady ICO right now are smart enough to hide their identity in pants so that they won't be traced.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto long-term? on: June 18, 2018, 05:00:24 PM
Yes, I do believe in crypto long-term. Because long term always gives us a great results. But still there is some risk in holding, we can't deny it.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite Exchanges? on: May 23, 2018, 01:50:24 AM
My favorite exchanges are BInance and IDEX. BInance for the centralized one and IDEX for the decentralize. I think IDEX has the future to grow including their coin provided that they are the highest DEX daily volume up to date. Not to mention they will integrate Staking Coin in Q3.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies on: May 19, 2018, 05:30:29 PM
The only thing that Government can do to cryptocurrency is to regulate it. I doubt they could kill the innovation. Some first world country country embracing already the technology inlcuding Dubai and Malta. And this is no stopping at all, it is the new face of internet.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem of altcoins on: May 16, 2018, 03:11:19 PM
Actually, if you look at the bigger perspective, you could see the difference. It's not that way at all, for instance, if you are into some solid altcoin investment, like 3months hold, you could see the growth of its altcoin differently independent with BTC. But if you notice the trend, when bitcoin will slow down and so do alts. but when BTC goes up, alts will soar higher than what you think. So they longer you hold a potential, then more you will likely to gain your position.
