bit[Suspicious link removed]d, trump bad. amazing to see people still defend trump even when he's anti-bitcoin. He is afraid that more people will become rich, and that he didn't buy bitcoin when the price was 100 USD or less. Both factors make him go against the future, that will happen sooner or later.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about current bounties, airdrops and contests

I am confused by this but in my opinion bounty little help for promotion and rest is used for benefit of the ico for example increase the volume of trading, giving their investors the opportunity to buy coins at a low price because usually bounty will do dumping the price is pretty, contest or airdrop almost like bounty but not very helpful in promotion
Or nobody would buy coins at all, it's really depends on project itself.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earnings from long time Holdings

I just started dedicating my time on cryptocurrency this year so I haven't earned big money yet from my holdings. Hopefully by the end of this year I will become one of the luckiest holders of some coins and tokens in my wallet. It's very inspiring to see that some people has become a millionaire just by long time holding of some coins.
I can tell you for sure that there are some promising coins that have successfully completed ICO in 2017, early 2018 like Shift, Humaniq, Revain, AdHive.

So, I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on current bounties and airdrop as an element to help projects. I have a thought that it does not help to attract real users or investors who would invest to a startups that want to raise money through token sale. But in case of existing projects that already work with crypto and have their own coin on exchanges is a different story. What do you think about using bounty or contest for a project that is working and have its coin on exchanges?
You don't need to do any airdrops if you have your coin listed on exchanges, Promotions such as airdrop/bounty is for the fundraising part of the project and once you list the coin on exchange you're good to go. Bounty promotion is good for ICO's to attract more investors and have more exposure. I think the bounty thread is very helpful to the project team, but the air drop is not very helpful to the project team. Most of the time, air drops only attract people to sell tokens, and even negative publicity for the team.
Yes, Most of the times doing useless airdrops is wrong since people can see if the token is a junk or not, Sometimes it is the best marketing strategy and it has worked well for a few projects before. I think airdrops were ok in 2017, early 2018, but now its useless and if you list your token on an exchange it can fuck it up pretty hard with all those people who got tokens through airdrop.

I guess this project can benefit people in long term, but right now can't really see how HMQ tokens can benefit me as a trader. But anyway I respect the idea to help African countries. However the overall market cap makes me feel sad. exactly, the market cap looks bad:( This market is not very active so it is looking interesting for trading because of low volume but in future this will grow. Don't be sad have more patience it will get more attention in future. You think so? Would you say HODL would be a good idea?
