2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would Ethereum remain the number 1 smart-contract platform in 2020 and onward? on: June 05, 2019, 09:12:36 AM
Ethereum is leading as a smart contract platform even though new platform are developed that has better feature like the EOS platform. The developers of Ethereum will  not just fold their arms and see a coin come from behind to over take it.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BNB beat Ethereum? on: June 05, 2019, 09:05:40 AM
The purpose of the two coins are different so why compare them. There is not need for comparing the two coins even if BNB is doing very well. ETH has more features . Its  smart contract is useful to other altcoins while BNB is just a trading exchange
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: June 05, 2019, 08:42:03 AM
Bitcoin was created as an alternative to fiat currency but its value had grown over time. Image you bought your Bitcoin when it was less than a dollar and sold it when it was say $8000. Are you not richer?  Bitcoin and altcoins are making many people rich and also many have lost funds. It is a double edge sword.

6  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency on: June 01, 2019, 08:03:54 AM
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are digital money that has value. They acceptable are a means of payment methods to those willing to accept them and the mainstream society are gradually coming to terms with them.  The real value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies lies in the base of their users and their demand and supply that is why they are volatile with their value not static.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: The production of money... is SCAM! on: June 01, 2019, 07:27:47 AM
The government is supposed to control Central Banks of its nation but the reverse is the case. Central banks are independent government entities that are supposed to create monetary policies and regulations of other banks. Their actions affect the nation's economy but for selfish reasons, they operate on conspiracy theory by changing the supply of money in circulation which brings inflation and unemployment which affects the citizens negatively.

As seen in this case your friend had caused the loss of a large amount of Bitcoin. It is good for us to do our due diligence pertaining to our resources for that friend might be wrong.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: May 29, 2019, 08:37:10 AM
ICO is an investment open to the public and users buy by sending funds to an address provided by the developer on their platform while IEO is an investment that is done on an exchange and is not open to the public but to those that have accounts on that exchange. IEO, in my opinion, is better than ICo because it is more secure, trustworthy, developers are known and the coin is listed on the platform that the IEO was conducted.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 29, 2019, 07:59:08 AM
Airdrop is a way of advertising a cryptocurrency. People love freebies and many see it as an avenue to create a crypto portfolio with various coins of which most are shit coins. developers incentivize those interested in their project with a small amount of their token. the value of these coins are so small but people still do them.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 28, 2019, 12:26:05 PM

15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favorite Bitcoin exchange? on: May 20, 2019, 08:57:48 AM
I have crypto accounts on several exchanges as a bounty hunter but my two favorite cryptocurrency exchanges are  Binance and Bittrex. They are user-friendly and easy to navigate. The hacking of Binance exchange has not affected my rating of it.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Same thing happens to everyone who tries that! on: May 19, 2019, 03:22:35 PM
All altcoins are a copy of Bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies come to use after the creation of Bitcoin and killing an original will not be easy especially one that is liked and wanted by all crypto enthusiast. Bitcoin has what other coins lack being the first crypto coin has a  great community behind it.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a coffee using BTC during current times? on: May 19, 2019, 02:58:30 PM
I for one will not use my precious Bitcoin to buy coffee. I am keeping my satoshis to build up my  Bitcoin holdings and I will not use it as a payment method. I keep them as a future investment.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: RED is spreading like a wildfire on: May 17, 2019, 02:23:04 PM
The red market situation is part of the cryptocurrency market place and because cryptocurrencies are highly volatile we should expect a situation like this to happen at any point in time. It is part of the cryptocurrency life circle
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: May 17, 2019, 01:56:26 PM

20  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: May 17, 2019, 01:32:13 PM
The government of a country will not willing want to support a currency that will take control out of its hands. Bitcoin and its technology the blockchain has so many benefits that can not be overlooked. The government will not support Bitcoin for a long time to come because VAT and taxes on transactions are used to support all the public services of a country: health, education, social services, public transport and so much.
