Weird. Price is still on 100 satoshis.  Undecided

I think, it will need some days till the price increases.
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 15, 2014, 10:16:27 AM
Well done, we did it to the first place on Bittrex!  Grin
This and the huge vote rate on MintPal (> 500 votes / day) shows that many people support Qubit.

Today was the reward halving. Lets see in what way this will affect the price for Q2C.
In any case, the supply of new Q2C is reduced and people may be stop dumping for only 100 sat.

Help promote Q2C:

Cryptsy - Message Mullick(might pass on queries to Big Vern)
        Coinedup - Contact
        Coinmarket.io - IRC: #coinmarket @ freenode
        CryptX.io - Leave them a note(bottom right corner)
        BTER - Email them: support@bter.com
        Vicurex - Email them: customerservice@vircurex.com
        Coinpayments(Merchant tool) - Request Credits
        Allcoin.com - Email them: service@allcoin.com
        Cryptoaltex - Ask for Credits
        Coinwarz - Contact
Thank you for the list!
I'll also contact the site admins to get Q2C onto their exchange or voting list.

Did you already check your inbox here?
Would you please check the MintPal voting checker?
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 14, 2014, 08:18:18 AM
It may also fall, remember that the award was in 1024 the price was 200-300s.
I minning Q2C from the start, I'm sorry to say this but I think that the mintpal it will be a place where people who bought the 200s will be able to quickly get rid of the problem and make a mega dump Q2C.
Only miners interested Q2C, no investors, services, etc.,

Well, this is pure speculation. I think, MintPal would be a big step for Q2C because the coin will get much more attention and trading volume.
But you are right, for more success, we need to get investors into our boat and setup some services (like shops).
I don't know when krecu will return but the community has to take over this project. We'll have to get more autonomous.

And don't forget to vote for Q2C:
https://www.mintpal.com/voting  Grin

We'll catch up with GRUMP and XXL, soon!
I've noticed that our vote/hour rate is much higher than on the other coins (except ZEIT because of their giveaway)
The only bad thing is the low amount of donations for Q2C on MintPal.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 13, 2014, 09:52:31 PM
When we hits mintpal, what with the price? it should go up?
Not each coin which hits mintpal went up. Just look to USDe...
What about halving? Price should go up... theoretically...
I think that this coin is definitely undervalued!

P.S. Great idea with faucet Smiley

The halving may result in a price increase.
But I think that it's more important to get more people into this market.
We need to create more demand and a bigger exchange like MintPal would help us alot.
Especially because the price is very undervalued. On a bigger exchange, the coin will go to its right price (my guess 300-500 sat).
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 13, 2014, 09:38:41 PM
What happened with the faucet http://free-q2c.mine-coin.de/ ?

It is not working yet  Embarrassed

what exactly don't work?
the last transactions are looking fine.

thanks all for filling the faucet. I will increase the payout to 25 or 50 q2c?! and do some small updates.

Good news: I've done my part and developed a MintPal vote checker.
I'll write you a PM and then you could check this on your own.

If you approve that, I'll give you the source code and we can discuss on how we could implement it to the faucet.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 13, 2014, 12:50:09 PM
first q2c faucet?!

http://free-q2c.mine-coin.de/
sorry it took me so long... but it should work now. Currently it's just a faucet but it is build to be extended to other coins... a steam trading place. coin trading place?! Wink

A nice design and more marketing informations are coming soon.

Current payout is 1 q2c per hour to test it. I hope all is working and we can adjust the payout value.

vote for us on https://www.mintpal.com/voting

Thank you very much! The faucet is really great! :-)
I would suggest to sort the transaction list by datetime descending. Also, the list should only display the last 25 transactions or so.

I filled the faucet up with 10k Q2C to: GJcjTo8cNu2UdfYHaSgL8uBtVrrjkr2S47

As I've promised, I'm working on the MintPal voting part.
I hope, I could finish it today. You'll get a PM when I did it.

@Krecu/Qubit Admin: Please put an annoucement to the faucent on the first page!
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 12, 2014, 02:49:18 PM
possible to make a Giveaway Q2C on https://www.poloniex.com/giveaways ?
i can donate only 10000 Q2C. but i think it a little...

Please, donate Mechanikka. We need more qubitcoin users!

I would then also donate 10k Q2C.

Additionally, I'm in contact with another faucet that might be online soon.
I think, I'll fill up that faucet with 50k Q2C for the beginning.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 12, 2014, 06:41:44 AM
sorry. payed work kept from finishing the faucet. wallet connection working. reciving sendin transactions. all the needed stuff is working.
some nice ui will be added in the evening.
Thanks for your api offer. that sounds good. thanks.

Any progress?  Smiley
Can I help you in some way?

Is anybody interested in setting up shop?
I could do the installation of the shop software and maybe the hosting. Selling would be a problem for me, because in Germany we have very strict and complicated tax laws. I don't want to get in trouble with a government authority.

Q2C 48 x 46 now

We are on the first place now!  Grin
Keep voting for Q2C!

Also, I would again offer to send you some coins to MintPal so that you will be able to vote there.
Just write a PM!

We are only 10 votes behind first one! vote vote:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=510676.0

Just 8 now. Vote!
5...  Grin Grin

What I really wanted to say:
I just saw a very interesting online shop from the KDC guys. Check this:
http://kdcgoods.com/

I think, we would also need a shop like that. The shop software is free and open source:
http://www.opencart.com

We could sell iPhone cards or other codes there. Anybody interested?

Q2C should be added!  Grin
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 11, 2014, 05:50:53 PM
Halbert if you want to subsidize the vote on mintpal, write an official post, send have any cheap coin to unlock interested in voting. She was a great war for the restoration of q2c on mintpal and counter practically standing still ... :/

ps. I wrote to a message on my blackcoin wallet

I don't get your point. Do you think, we will damage BC with this action?

Let me explain... As I don't have the hardware to mine Blackcoin, I would buy a large amount on the market.
This would result in a small coin pump (good for you). Then I'll do small giveaways to let the BC be sold.
In the end, when I'm out of all coins, the price should be equal to the price before my pump. All coins were bought and then sold. There is no dump.

I don't know, if you meant this, but I hope could clear some misunderstanding.
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 11, 2014, 11:26:39 AM
number of votes for mintpal dramatically decreased. I think the fans q2c not a problem Set up an account, the problem in making a transaction. Maybe there is a person who was allocated to the church to account for mintpal some cheap coin to unlock the voting ...

I'm offering a BlackCoin giveaway to do the first order on MintPal.
Then you will have a fully enabled account and you could vote for Q2C! :-)
Just tell me your BlackCoin (BC) wallet address and I'll transfer you some.

You right.
but I think that Botter, who can easily cheat voice on minpal.
Can also pick up all the coins from Faucet.

Well, the faucet would have at least an IP lock for an hour.
This means, a botter would have to change his IP and then re-open the faucet and generate another vote on MintPal.  For that extra vote he would either need multiple accounts or he could split his 5 votes and get a withdrawal for every 1 vote. That would work 5 times. To prevent this, we could check whether at least 2 or 3 votes were made for Q2C.
The increased security level of MintPal would also increase our security level.

There is of course some room for exploiting but automated botting is nearly impossible, I think.
And to do all these steps manually won't be worth the work for 100 Q2C.

Summed up, this function would at least guarantee that a withdrawal is only possible when votes were made.
The only issue of this is that we couldn't identify the voter and say whether that vote came from the faucet user or not.
But at least we got votes.

working on ip block + fingerprint.

is there an API for mintpal votings?

I'm thinning about low giveaways on faucet and some others for doing something good like tweeting... writing a blog post... posting on http://www.reddit.com/r/qubitcoin/ or so...
you can vote on the faucet who get what?

what do you thing?
There is no API for the voting system. But as I already offered, I could implement the voting verification with JavaScript and PHP.
I'll then send you the script and you could check that and implement into your faucet, ok?

BTW, how is your progress for the faucet?

The problem is that we couldn't use this thread for the giveaway because that would be against the bitcointalk rules.
We would have to verify everything via e-mail and that would mean very very much work for us.

I think, an automated method would be much better and easier to handle. Besides, the users would instantly get their withdrawaly, without the need of a successful manual verification.
