Good News Worldcoin friends. You will be happy to know going into the new year that I was able to purchase worldcoin.global at a reasonable price. Special thanks to the seller for keeping the price fair and helping out the worldcoin community. Right now it's setup as a forwarder to worldcoin.solutions. Ill work on switching the dns and changing some hosting B.S. in the coming days. Be well all!

good news about nova any upgrades coming to this project... i mean the days of being a ltc clone are done. what plans if any are there to upgrade this to something else? Yeah, I agree with this. The relaunch is very vague and has no substance from what I can tell. Why should I invest in WDC v3? Roadmap, vision? I mean we have plenty of new coins starting daily so what separates this relaunch project from the rest? There is no relaunch. This is the same coin. I put together a website and a dev updated the wallet. We are trying to help out the best way we can. We are still trying to get in touch with an old member who we believe still may have worldcoin.global For now we tried to put as much info as we can dig up off the internet on wdc's new site worldcoin.solutions There is currently only 3 devs with only 1 that is active working on the worldcoin project. The dev who is planning on upgrading to cryptonight is only semi active and can only work on it during his free time. In a nutshell this project needs more developers to step up if it is going to succeed. |

There are no any exchange left, or at least official ones. Bittylicious(listed on coinmarcetcap) doesn't trade WDC.
Ough I got it. WDC can be erased from coinmarketcap, that would be the floor.
When I contacted cryptopia on Oct 20th they had said they had no intention on delisting WDC at that time. I contacted them again today and am awaiting a response, hopefully they will reconsider.

I launched the new website you can find it at worldcoin.solutions for now. We are hoping to reacquire worldcoin.global soon. Everybody is good, I always think, if we can make the original WDC's official website http://www.worldcoin.global/ to open, global investors are trust, you now to register a new website, estimates that no one believed!-- if you can open the original official website, I am willing to provide financial support! Working on getting worldcoin.global back. I'll keep you posted. Also if we can't get it back we have other domains we can use. Project is moving forward. I hope not because that is going to be hard to get back on if it happens
No as of right now Cryptopia has no intention of getting rid of worldcoin. |

Please be patient. Im working with Berzeck on getting the website back up and running. Another Dev is working on switching to cryptonight. If we cannot get the website back up I will build a new one. The project is not dead just slow moving at the moment.

Hello guys, it's Xanur here from the worldcoin global forum and discord.
I'm not good with words and english is not my first language so I will get to the point.
A lot has happened the last couple of years in the history of Worldcoin. We have had our ups and downs (mostly). After the Scharmbeck incident/scam or whatever you want to call it, we lost most of our community members. Some community members tried to pick it up and continue the further development of Worldcoin.
First the Worldcoin Alliance was formed. I don't know the details, but most of the board members disappeared just like the first team. Thankfully Berzeck picked up the project and continued the development of the Worldcoin wallet. As most of you know, Berzeck stepped down in 2017 because of issues with a Chinese group of people.
Berzeck left the Worldcoin protocol mostly untouched, because of disagreement within the community. Because of this the asics/multipools hit us hard and peaks in network difficulty led to an unstable network, too fast or too slow blocktimes etc. Alferz from the Worldcoin Global forum came up with the proposal to fork Worldcoin and use the CryptoNight PoW algorithm as a (temporary) solution. I support this as a temporary solution and decided to work on this as of september.
I want to hear what the community thinks about this, and if there is support from within the community. Keep in mind this is a temporary solution and after the fork is done, I want to come up with a longterm plan for further development.
I am aiming for a fork Q4 this year. However my resources (mostly time) is also limited. Nevertheless development will continue on.

you probably already guessed that my team of people was not interested in picking this coin up. I think something needs to be done to prevent double spend attacks from happening, network is too small at this moment, you can't invest in a coin when it is as weak as it is today. I'm willing to help, but I won't lead the way. Good luck!

Hello, I would like to take this project to a next level, please anybody that feels connected to WDC send me a message and I let you know the idea. This has to be a joined effort or else it will fail, but it will highly increase the stability of this coin and will guarantee a success for a long time in the future if we succeed.

Heip, what happened to forum.worldcoin.global  its down for a while for now. Berzeck knows about the forum being down and is currently working on it. Worldcoin is not a scam. Fixes / Forks / Changes are currently being discussed by the developers. |

I too would donate to a developer with a good reputation who is willing to work on the worldcoin project. Crowdfunding is a great idea. It has been brought up on the worldcoin forum before. But who can we trust to hold the wdc pot that will be donated?

The developer Berzerk is currently seeking other developers to assist in the project. As of now he is doing light maintenance as needed. Hopefully the committee and new devs will be up and running soon.
